⁵⁰ For they all saw him, and were terrified; but he immediately spoke to them, saying, Take courage; it is I; be not afraid.

²⁷ Jesus immediately spoke to them, saying, Take courage; it is I, be not afraid.

³⁸ And he said to them, Why are you so alarmed? And wherefore do suspicious arise in your hearts? ³⁹ Behold my hands and my feet; it is I myself; handle me and be convinced; for a spirit has not flesh and bones as you see me have. ⁴⁰ Saying this, he showed them his hands and his feet. ⁴¹ While yet they believed not, for joy and amazement, he said to them, Have you here anything to eat?

¹⁹ When they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they observed Jesus walking on the sea, very near the bark, and were afraid. ²⁰ But he said to them, It is I, be not afraid.

¹⁹ In the evening of that day, the first of the week, Jesus came where the disciples were convened, (the doors having been shut, for the fear of the Jews,) and stood in the midst, and said to them, Peace be to you. ²⁰ Having said this, he showed them his hand and his side. The disciples, therefore, rejoiced when they saw it was their Master.
