⁵ The women being affrighted, and fixing their eyes on the ground, these said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?

³ His countenance was like lightning, and his apparel white as snow. ⁴ Seeing him, the guards quaked with terror, and became as dead men. ⁵ But the angel said to the women, Fear not; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
