³⁷ Nay, the Father, who sent me, has himself attested me. Did you never hear his voice, or see his form?

¹⁷ while a voice from heaven proclaimed, This is my Son, the beloved, in whom I delight.

⁵ While he was speaking, behold! a bright cloud covered them, and out of the cloud a voice came, which said, This is my Son, the beloved in whom I delight; hear him.
