⁴ In the morning Jesus stood on the shore; the disciples, however, knew not that it was Jesus.

¹² Afterward he appeared in another form to two of them, as they traveled on foot into the country.

¹⁵ While they were conversing and reasoning, Jesus himself joined them, and went along with them. ¹⁶ But their eyes were so affected that they did not know him.

³¹ Then their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he disappeared.

¹⁴ Having said this, she turned about, and saw Jesus standing, but knew not that it was Jesus.
