⁴¹ And it came to pass in the morning, that Balak took Bil’am, and brought him up into the high places of Baal, and he saw thence a portion of the people.

²⁸ For a fire is gone out of Cheshbon, a flame from the city of Sichon: it hath consumed ‘Ar-Moab, the men of the high places of the Arnon.

¹³ And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from where thou canst see them; nevertheless a portion of them only wilt thou see, but the whole of them thou wilt not see: and denounce them for me from there.
