³¹ And Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who lived many days after Joshua, and who had known all the deeds of the Lord, that he had done for Israel.

² And ye shall know this day, that I speak not with your children who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of the Lord your God, his greatness, his strong hand, and his outstretched arm;

⁷ But it is your own eyes which have seen all the great acts of the Lord which he hath done.
