¹⁰ And Saul sought to strike David through with the spear even to the wall; but he slipped away from before Saul, who struck the spear into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.

¹¹ And Saul cast the spear; and he thought, I will strike David through even on the wall. And David turned aside out of his presence twice.

⁶ And Saul hearkened unto the voice of Jonathan: and Saul swore, As the Lord liveth, he shall not be put to death.
