²¹ Just as sin had reigned through death, so grace shall reign through righteousness unto eternal life by our LORD Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ And of his fulness we have all received, grace for grace. ¹⁷ For the law was given by Moses; but truth and grace came into being by Jesus Christ.

²⁸ And I give to them eternal life; and they will never perish, and no man will snatch them from my hands.

¹⁷ For if by one manÆs offence, death reigned, how much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

¹² Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof.

¹⁴ Sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are no longer under the law, but under grace.

¹⁶ Do you not know, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are, for you obey him, whether it be to sin or whether it be of obedience to righteousness?

²³ For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through our LORD Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ And if Christ is within you, the body is dead because of sin: but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

¹¹ For the grace of God that brings salvation has been revealed to all men.

¹⁶ Let us, therefore, come openly to the throne of his grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, whom God has given to us; will strengthen us to endure these little afflictions that we may be made steadfast and remain in him for ever.

¹ SIMON Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ have been made equal with us in the precious faith;

²⁵ And this is the promise that he has promised us, even eternal life.

¹¹ And this is the testimony, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. ¹² He who believes on the Son has life; he who does not believe on the Son of God does not have life. ¹³ These things I have written to you who believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life.
