⁵ And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it upon the earth: and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings, and an earthquake.

⁷ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes, in different places.

⁵² And the tombs were opened; and the bodies of a great many saints who were sleeping in death rose up, ⁵³ And they went out; and after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city, and appeared to a great many. ⁵⁴ When the centurion and those who were with him watching Jesus, saw the earthquake and all that happened, they were very much frightened, and they said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

⁴⁹ I came to set the earth on fire; and I wish to do it, if it has not already been kindled.

³¹ And when they had petitioned and made their supplications, the place in which they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God boldly.

²⁶ And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened, and the bands of all were loosed.

¹⁸ For you have yet neither come near the roaring fire, nor the darkness nor the storm nor the tempest, ¹⁹ Nor to the sound of the trumpet and the voice of the word; which voice they heard but refused so that the word will not be spoken to them any more.

⁵ And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and noises: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

¹² And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

¹³ And at the same hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and the number of men killed in the earthquake was seven thousand: and the survivors were frightened, and they gave glory to God.

¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant; and there were lightnings, and thunderings, and voices, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.

¹ AND I heard a great voice saying the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the seven vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. ² And the first went and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there came a severe and malignant sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshipped his image. ³ Then the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea. ⁴ And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. ⁵ Then I heard the angel who has charge over waters say, You are righteous, O Holy One, who is and was, because you have condemned them. ⁶ For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. ⁷ And I heard another out of the altar say, Yes, O LORD God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments. ⁸ And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. ⁹ And men were scorched by intense heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues: and they did not repent to give him glory. ¹⁰ And the fifth angel poured out his vial on the throne of the wild beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues from pain, ¹¹ And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their wounds and sores; and did not repent of their deeds. ¹² Then the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Eu-phraÆtes; and its waters dried up, that the way of the king of the East might be prepared. ¹³ And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the wild beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. ¹⁴ For they are the spirits of devils, who work miracles which go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. ¹⁵ And behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he must walk naked, and they see his shame. ¹⁶ And he gathered them together in a place which in the Hebrew tongue is called Ar-ma-gedÆdon. ¹⁷ Then the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple from the throne, saying, It is done. ¹⁸ And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, the like of which had never happened since man was upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. ¹⁹ And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Bab-yÆlon came in remembrance before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. ²⁰ And every island fled away, and the mountains could not be found. ²¹ And great hail, about the size of a talent, fell out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the destructive force of the hail was exceedingly great.
