³ And they sang a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts and the elders: and no man was able to learn that song, except the hundred forty and four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.

²⁵ At that time, Jesus answered and said, I thank you, O my Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and the men of understanding, and you have revealed them to children. ²⁶ O yes, my Father, for such was your will. ²⁷ Everything has been delivered to me by my Father, and no man knows the Son except the Father, nor does any man know the Father but the Son, and he to whomever the Son wishes to reveal.

¹⁸ For the preaching of the cross * to those who have gone astray is foolishness; but to us who are saved it is the power of God.

¹⁴ For the material man rejects spiritual things, for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

¹⁷ He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; To him who overcomes, I will give to eat of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knows except he who receives it.

² And immediately I was in the spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. ³ And he who sat resembled a stone of jasper and sardonyx and round about the throne was a rainbow resembling emeralds. ⁴ Round about the throne were four and twenty seats; and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. ⁵ And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and noises: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. ⁶ And before the throne was a sea of glass resembling crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about it, and in front of the throne, were four beasts, full of eyes before and behind. ⁷ And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast was like a calf, and the third beast had a face of a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. ⁸ And the four beasts had each of them six wings about it; and they were full of eyes within; and they had no rest day and night saying, Holy, holy, holy, the LORD God Almighty, who was and is, and is to come. ⁹ And when those wild beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him who sat on the throne, who lives for ever and ever, ¹⁰ The four and twenty elders fall down before him who sat on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, ¹¹ You are worthy, O our Holy LORD and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you have created all things, and by you, they are, and by your will, they are and were created.

⁹ And they sang new praise saying. You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

¹ AND I looked, and, lo, the Lamb stood on mount Sion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand in number, having the name of his Father written on their brows.

³ And they were singing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, LORD God Almighty; just and true are your ways, O King of ages.
