²⁹ And they wove a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they knelt on their knees before him, and they were mocking him and saying, Hail, King of the Jews! ³⁰ And they spat in his face, and took the reed and struck him on his head.

⁴⁵ And immediately he drew near and said to him, My teacher, my teacher; and he kissed him. ⁴⁶ And they laid hands on him and arrested him.

⁴⁵ You did not kiss me; but she, since she entered, has not ceased to kiss my feet.
