¹¹ For you always have the poor with you, but you will not have me always.

²⁰ For wherever two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.

³⁴ Then the King will say to those at his right, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom which has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ³⁵ For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; ³⁶ I was naked, and you covered me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me. ³⁷ Then the righteous will say to him, Our Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? or thirsty and gave you drink? ³⁸ And when did we see you a stranger, and took you in? Or that you were naked, and covered you? ³⁹ And when did we see you sick, or in the prison, and come to you? ⁴⁰ The king then will answer and say to them, Truly I tell you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of these least brethren, you did it to me.

⁴² For I was hungry, and you did not give me to eat; I was thirsty, and you did not give me to drink; ⁴³ I was a stranger, and you did not take me in; I was naked, and you did not cover me; I was sick and in prison and you did not visit me. ⁴⁴ Then they also will answer and say, Our lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick or in the prison, and did not minister to you? ⁴⁵ Then he will answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of these least ones, you also did not do it to me.

²⁰ And teach them to obey everything that I have commanded you; and, behold, I am with you all the days, to the end of the world. Amen.

⁸ For you have the poor always with you, but me you have not always.

³³ My sons, I am with you yet a little while, and you will want me. And just as I said to the Jews, Where I go you cannot come; so now I tell you also.

¹⁹ And the world will not see me, but you will see me; because I live, you also shall live.

⁵ But now I am going to him who sent me, and yet no one of you asks me, Where are you going?

²⁸ I came forth from the Father, and I came into the world; again, I am leaving the world and I am going to the Father.

¹¹ Hereafter I am not in the world, but these are in the world; and I am coming to you. O holy Father, protect them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.

²¹ Whom the heaven must receive until all the things which God has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets, since the world began should be fulfilled.

¹⁰ Only they would that we should remember the poor; and that I have endeavored to do.

¹⁷ Whoever has worldly goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts his mercy from him, how can the love of God dwell in him?
