² A great many gathered together so that it was impossible to hold them, not even in front of the entrance; so he spoke a few words to them.

² And he opened his mouth and taught them, and he said,

¹⁴ But after John was delivered up, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

³³ And the whole city was gathered at the door.

³⁷ And when they found him, they said to him, Everyone wants you.

⁴⁵ But when he went out, he began to publish it still more, and to spread the word, so that Jesus was no longer able to enter the city openly, but he remained outside in a lonely place; and yet they came to him from every place.

¹³ And he went out again by the seaside, and all the people kept coming to him, and he taught them.

¹ AGAIN he began to teach by the sea side; and many people gathered unto him, so that he went up and sat in a boat in the sea; and all the people stood on the land by the sea. ² And he taught them much by parables, and in his teaching he said,

³⁴ And when Jesus went out he saw large crowds, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them a great many things.

¹⁷ It came to pass on one of the days when Jesus was teaching, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were sitting, who had come from every town of Galilee and Judaea and Jerusalem. And the power of God was present to heal them.

¹ AND it came to pass after these things, Jesus was traveling in cities and villages, preaching and giving good news of the kingdom of God. And his twelve were with him,

¹¹ This is the parable. The seed is the word of God.

¹ WHEN a large number of people had gathered together, so as to tread on one another, Jesus began to say to his disciples, First of all, Beware you of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

²⁵ Now when Simon Peter and John had testified and taught them the word of God, they returned to Jerusalem after they had preached in many Samaritan villages.

¹⁹ Now those who had been dispersed by the persecution which occurred on account of Stephen, traveled as far as Phoe-niÆci-a and even to the land of Cyprus, and to AnÆtioch, preaching the word to none but to the Jews only.

²⁵ And when they had preached the word of the LORD in the city of PerÆga, they went down to At-taÆli-a:

⁶ Then they traveled through the countries of PhrygÆi-a and Ga-laÆtia, and the Holy Spirit forbade them to speak the word of God in Asia Minor.

⁸ But what does it say? The answer is near to you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

² Preach the word; and stand by it zealously in season and out of season, rebuke, reprove, through all patience and teaching.
