²⁶ For if any man sin willfully after he has received the knowledge of the truth, then there is no more sacrifice to be offered for sins,

³¹ Therefore I say to you, that all sins and blasphemies will be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men. ³² And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, neither in this world nor in the world to come.

⁴³ When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it travels in places where there is no water, and seeks rest, and does not find it. ⁴⁴ Then it says, I will return to my own house from whence I came out; so it comes back and finds it empty, warm, and well furnished. ⁴⁵ Then it goes away and brings with it seven other spirits worse than itself, and they enter and live in it; and the end of that man becomes worse than at first. Such will happen to this evil generation.

⁴⁷ And the servant who knows the wishes of his master, and does not make ready according to his wishes, will receive a severe beating.

⁴¹ Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, We see; because of this your sin remains.

¹⁷ If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

²² If I had not come and spoken to them, they would be without sin; but now they have no excuse for their sins. ²³ He who hates me, hates my Father also. ²⁴ If I had not done works before their eyes, such as no other man has ever done, they would be without sin; but now they have seen and hated me and also my Father,

¹⁰ And with all deceitfulness of unrighteousness in those who perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved thereby.

¹³ Who was before a blasphemer and a persecutor and a reviler; but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

⁴ But this is impossible for those who have once been baptised, and have tasted the gift from heaven, and have received the Holy Spirit, ⁵ And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, ⁶ For, for them to sin again, and be renewed again by repentance, they crucify the Son of God a second time, and put him to open shame.

¹⁷ Therefore he who knows to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin.

²⁰ For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through knowledge of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled by these very things, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. ²¹ Verily it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment that was delivered to them. ²² It will come to pass with them according to the true proverb, The dog returns to his own vomit, and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

¹⁶ If any man see his brother commit a sin which is not worthy of death, let him ask and Eternal Life. 1 John 5 life will be granted him, if he has not committed a sin worthy of death. There is a sin worthy of death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
