²¹ For the upright shall dwell in the earth, and the holy shall be left behind in it.

¹ There was a certain man in the land of Ausis, whose name [was] Job; and than man was true, blameless, righteous, [and] godly, abstaining from everything evil.

¹² And the Lord blessed the latter end of Job, [more] than the beginning: and his cattle were fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, a thousand she-asses of the pastures.

³ For there is no health in my flesh because of your anger; there is no peace to my bones because of my sins.

⁹ But all my desire is before you; and my groaning is not hidden from you.

¹¹ My friends and my neighbors drew near before me, and stood still; and my nearest of kin stood afar off.

²² Draw near to my help, O Lord of my salvation.

¹¹ Truth has sprung out of the earth; and righteousness has looked down from heaven.

⁴ The Lord is high above all the nations; his glory is above the heavens. ⁵ Who is as the Lord our God? who dwells in the high places, ⁶ and [yet] looks upon the low things in heaven, and on the earth:
