⁸ Fear casts down the slothful; and the souls of the effeminate shall hunger.

¹⁶ You shall not walk deceitfully among your people; you shall not rise up against the blood of your neighbor: I am the Lord your God.

² God looked down from heaven upon the sons of men, to see if there were any that understood, or sought after God.

³ The words of transgressors have overpowered us; but do you pardon our sins. ⁴ Blessed [is he] whom you have chosen and adopted; he shall dwell in your courts; we shall be filled with the good things of your house; your temple is holy.
