⁷ For my eyes are dimmed through pain; I have been grievously beset by all.

⁸ But now he has made me weary, and a worn-out fool; and you have laid hold of me.

¹⁶ They sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and my strength has been spent on the ground.

⁷ Mine eye is troubled because of my wrath; I am worn out because of all my enemies.

⁹ Be you⌃ not as horse and mule, which have no understanding; [but you must] constrain their jaws with bit and curb, lest they should come near to you. ¹⁰ Many are the scourges of the sinner: but him that hopes in the Lord mercy shall compass about.
