⁵ And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, and I will be for glory in her midst, declares Jehovah.

³ But You, O Jehovah, are a shield around me; my glory and He who lifts up my head.

⁷ Jehovah of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is a refuge for us. Selah. ⁸ Come, behold the works of Jehovah, who sets ruins on the earth, ⁹ causing to cease wars to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts apart spears; He burns the chariots in the fire. ¹⁰ Be still and know that I am God! I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth. ¹¹ Jehovah of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is a refuge for us. Selah.

³ God is known in her strongholds for a refuge.

¹² Walk around Zion; yea, go all around it; count its towers;

⁵ Then Jehovah will create a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night, over all the site of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies; for on all the glory will be a canopy.

⁶ Cry and shout, O dweller of Zion! For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst.

¹ In that day this song shall be sung in the land of Judah: A strong city is ours; He sets up salvation as our walls and rampart. ² Open the gates, and the righteous nation shall come in, keeping faithfulness.

²¹ But majestic Jehovah will place there for us a place of rivers and streams, broad on both hands; a ship with oars shall not go in it, and a majestic boat shall not pass through it.

¹⁸ Violence shall not still be heard in your land, or wasting and ruin within your borders; but you shall call your walls, Salvation, and your gates, Praise. ¹⁹ The sun shall not still be your light by day, or the brightness of the moon give you light; but Jehovah shall be for everlasting light to you, and your God for your beauty.

⁷ And I will shake all the nations; and the desire of all nations shall come. And I will fill this house with glory, says Jehovah of hosts. ⁸ The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says Jehovah of hosts. ⁹ The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, says Jehovah of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, says Jehovah of hosts.

⁸ And I will camp around My house because of an army, because of him who passed by, and because of him who returns. And no tyrant shall pass through them any more. For now I have seen with My eyes.

³² a Light for revelation to the nations, and the Glory of Your people Israel.

¹⁰ And he carried me in spirit on to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, holy Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, ¹¹ having the glory of God. And its light was like a very precious stone, as a jasper stone, being clear as crystal,

²³ And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, even its lamp is the Lamb.

³ And every curse will no longer be. And the throne of God and the Lamb will be in it; and His slaves will serve Him. ⁴ And they will see His face; and His name will be on their foreheads. ⁵ And night will not be there; and they have no need of a lamp or a light of the sun, because the Lord God will shed light on them. And they shall reign forever and ever.
