³ And I know you bore up and have patience and on account of My name you have labored and have not wearied,

⁷ Rest in Jehovah and wait patiently for Him; inflame not yourself with him who prospers in his way, with the man practicing evil wiles.

⁷ Because I suffered reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.

⁹ I will bear the fury of Jehovah because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my cause and brings forth justice for me. He will bring me out to the light; I shall see His righteousness.

²¹ And they forced one passing by, Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from a field, the father of Alexander and Rufus, that he might carry His cross.

¹⁵ And those in the good ground, these are the ones who in a right and good heart, hearing the Word, they hold it and bear fruit in patience.

²⁷ And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me, he cannot be My disciple.

¹ And He also spoke a parable to them to teach it is always right to pray, and not to faint,

¹⁹ By your patience you will gain your souls.

²¹ But all these things they will do to you on account of My name, because they do not know the One who sent Me.

⁷ everlasting life truly to those who with patience in good work are seeking glory and honor and incorruptibility;

³ And not only so, but we glory also in afflictions, knowing that affliction works out patience, ⁴ and patience works out proven character; and proven character, hope.

²⁵ But if we hope for what we do not see, through patience we wait eagerly.

¹² in hope, rejoicing; in affliction, enduring; in prayer, steadfastly continuing;

⁴ For whatever things were written before were written for our instruction, that through patience and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. ⁵ And may the God of patience and encouragement give to you to mind the same thing among one another according to Christ Jesus,

¹² Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, those laboring in the Lord. Greet Persis the beloved, who has labored in many things in the Lord.

⁷ Love quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

¹⁶ See that you also may submit to such ones, and to everyone working and laboring with me .

¹ Therefore, having this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we do not faint.

¹⁶ Because of this, we do not faint, but if indeed our outward man is being decayed, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

⁹ Because of this, we also are striving to be pleasing to Him, whether being at home, or being away from home.

⁵ in stripes, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings,

¹⁵ not boasting beyond measure in the labors of others, but having hope that the growing faith among you will be made larger according to our rule, to overflowing,

²³ Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself.) I being beyond them : in labors, more abundantly; in stripes, beyond measure; in prisons, much more; in deaths, many times.

² Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.

⁹ But we should not weaken in doing good, for in due time we shall reap, if we do not faint.

¹⁶ holding up a word of life, for a boast to me in the day of Christ, that I ran not in vain, nor labored in vain.

³ And I also ask you, true yoke-fellow, help those who struggled along with me and with Clement in the gospel, and the rest, fellow-workers with me, whose names are in the Scroll of Life.

¹¹ being empowered with all power according to the might of His glory, to all patience and longsuffering with joy;

³ remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love, and the patience of hope of our Lord Jesus Christ before our God and Father,

⁹ For, brothers, you remember our labor and toil, night and day, working in order not to put a burden on any one of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

¹² But, brothers, we entreat you to know those laboring among you, and taking the lead of you in the Lord, and warning you,

⁵ And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

⁸ nor did we eat bread from anyone as a gift, but by labor and toil, working night and day in order not to burden anyone of you.

¹³ And you, brothers, do not lose heart in well doing.

¹⁰ for to this we also labor and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is deliverer of all men, especially of believers.

¹⁷ Let the elders who take the lead well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those laboring in word and teaching.

¹⁰ For God is not unjust, to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed to His name, ministering to the saints, and now are ministering.

¹² that you not become dull, but imitators of those who through faith and longsuffering are inheriting the promises.

¹⁵ And so, being long-suffering, he obtained the promise.

³⁶ For you have need of patience, that having done the will of God you may obtain the promise.

¹ So therefore we also, having so great cloud of witnesses lying around us, having laid aside every weight and the easily surrounding sin, through patience let us also run the race set before us,

³ For consider Him who had endured such gainsaying of sinners against Himself, that you do not grow weary, fainting in your souls. ⁴ You did not yet resist unto blood, wrestling against sin. ⁵ And you have forgotten the exhortation which He speaks with you, as with sons, "My sons, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor faint while being corrected by Him.

¹³ So let us go forth to Him outside the camp bearing His reproach.

³ knowing that the proving of your faith works patience. ⁴ But let patience have its perfective work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

⁷ Therefore, brothers, be long-suffering until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being long-suffering over it until it may receive the early and the latter rain. ⁸ You also be long-suffering. Set your hearts firmly, because the coming of the Lord has drawn near. ⁹ Do not murmur against one another, brothers, that you not be condemned. Behold, the Judge stands before the door. ¹⁰ My brothers, as an example of suffering ill, and of longsuffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. ¹¹ Behold, we call those blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord, "that the Lord is full of tender mercy and pity." Psa. 103:8

⁶ and knowledge with self-control; and self-control with patience; and patience with godliness;

⁹ I, even your brother John, and co-sharer in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, came to be in the island being called Patmos because of the Word of God, and because of the witness of Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ Because you kept the word of My patience, I also will keep you out of the hour of trial which is going to come on all the habitable world in order to try those dwelling on the earth.
