¹⁰ The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawmaker from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and the obedience of the peoples to him.

¹⁹ And one out of Jacob shall rule, and will destroy the survivors from Ar.

¹⁶ Only, he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to turn back to Egypt so as to multiply horses, since Jehovah has said to you, You shall not again return in this way any more.

¹⁰ You that ride on white asses, you that sit on rich carpets, and you travelers on the way, sing out!

¹⁴ And he had forty sons, and thirty grandsons, who rode on seventy he-asses; and he judged Israel eight years.

² And the king said to Ziba, What are these to you? And Ziba said, The asses are for the king's household to ride on, and the bread and the summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine for the wearied to drink in the wilderness.

³³ And the king said to them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and you shall cause my son Solomon to ride on my mule, and cause him to go down to Gihon.

²⁶ And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen, and he had a thousand, four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; and he placed them in the cities of the chariots, and with the king in Jerusalem.

⁶ Yea, I have set My king on My holy mount on Zion. ⁷ I will declare concerning the statute of Jehovah: He said to Me, You are My Son. Today I have begotten You. ⁸ Ask of Me, and I will give the nations as Your inheritance; and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession. ⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. ¹⁰ Now, then, be wise, O kings; be taught, O judges of the earth: ¹¹ Serve Jehovah with fear; yea, rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Oh the blessings of all those who flee to Him for refuge!

¹⁴ So that I may declare all Your praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion; I will rejoice in Your salvation.

I am speaking of my works to the King; my tongue is the pen of a rapid writer. ² You are the fairest of the sons of man; grace has poured into Your lips; on this account God has blessed You forever. ³ Gird Your sword on Your thigh, Mighty One; with Your glory and Your majesty. ⁴ And ride prosperously in Your majesty, on the matter of truth and meekness and right, and Your right hand shall teach You fearful things. ⁵ Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King's enemies; peoples fall under You. ⁶ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness. ⁷ You love righteousness and hate wickedness; on account of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your fellows. ⁸ All Your garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of ivory palaces, by which they make You glad. ⁹ King's daughters are among Your precious ones; the queen stands at Your right hand in gold of Ophir. ¹⁰ Listen, O daughter, and look, and incline your ear, and forget your people and your father's house. ¹¹ And the King will desire your beauty, for He is your Lord, and you shall worship Him. ¹² And the daughter of Tyre will stroke Your face with a gift, the rich among the peoples. ¹³ The king's daughter is all glorious within, her clothing braided gold. ¹⁴ She shall be led to the King in embroidered work; her companions, the virgins, shall be brought to You after her. ¹⁵ They shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall go in to the King's palace. ¹⁶ Your sons shall be in the place of your fathers; You will make them for rulers in all the earth. ¹⁷ I will make remembered Your name in every generation and generation; on this account people shall thank You forever and ever.

¹ Of Solomon. Give the King Your judgments, O God; and Your righteousness to the King's son. ² Your people He shall judge in righteousness, and Your poor in justice. ³ The mountains will lift up peace to the people; and the little hills through righteousness. ⁴ He shall judge the poor of the people; and He shall save the sons of the needy; and He shall crush the oppressor. ⁵ They shall fear You with the sun, and before the moon in all generations. ⁶ He shall descend like rain on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth. ⁷ In His days the righteous shall flourish, and plenty of peace, till the moon is not. ⁸ He shall also rule from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. ⁹ Those dwelling in the desert will bow before Him, and His enemies will lick the dust. ¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. ¹¹ Yea, all kings shall fall down before Him; all nations shall serve Him. ¹² For He shall save the needy who cries, and the poor with no helper. ¹³ He shall have pity on the poor and needy; and He saves the souls of the needy ones. ¹⁴ He shall redeem their souls from oppression and violence; and their blood shall be precious in His eyes. ¹⁵ And He shall live, and the gold of Sheba shall be given to Him; and prayer shall be made for Him continually; He shall bless Him all the day long. ¹⁶ A fullness of grain shall be in the earth on top of the mountains; its fruit shall shake like Lebanon; and they of the city shall flourish like the grass of the earth. ¹⁷ His name shall be forever; His name shall continue before the sun; and they shall bless themselves by Him; all nations shall call Him blessed. ¹⁸ Blessed is Jehovah God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonderful things. ¹⁹ And blessed is His glorious name forever; and the whole earth is filled with His glory! ¹ A Psalm of David. A statement of Jehovah to my Lord: Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies as Your footstool. ² Jehovah shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of Your enemies. ³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power; in holy adornment from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth. ⁴ Jehovah has sworn and will not repent: You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

⁶ For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. ⁷ There is no end to the increase of His government and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness, from now and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

⁶ Cry and shout, O dweller of Zion! For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst.

⁹ You who bring good news to Zion, go up for yourself on the high mountain, bringer of good news to Zion. Lift up your voice with strength, bringer of good news to Jerusalem. Lift up; do not fear. Say to the cities of Judah, Behold! Your God!

¹¹ Behold, Jehovah has made it to be heard to the end of the earth; Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold! Your salvation comes! Behold! His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and act wisely, and shall do justice and righteousness in the earth. ⁶ In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His name by which He shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.

²⁴ And I, Jehovah, will be their God, and My servant David shall be a ruler among them. I, Jehovah, have spoken.

²⁴ And My Servant, David, shall be King over them. And there shall be one Shepherd to all of them. And they shall walk in My judgments and keep My statutes, and do them.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings, the God of Heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to other people. It shall break in pieces and destroy all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. ⁴⁵ Because you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold in pieces. The great God has made known to the king what shall occur after this. And the dream is certain, and the meaning of it is trustworthy.

¹³ I was looking in the night visions. And behold! One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him. ¹⁴ And dominion was given to Him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

⁷ And I will have mercy on the house of Judah and will save them by Jehovah their God. And I will not save them by bow or by sword, or by battle, by horses, or by horsemen.

² And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, being least among the thousands of Judah, out of you He shall come forth to Me to become Ruler in Israel; and His goings forth have been from of old, from the days of eternity.

¹⁰ And it shall be in that day, I will cut off your horses out of your midst, and I will destroy your chariots, declares Jehovah. ¹¹ And I will cut off the cities of your land and pull down all your fortresses.

¹⁴ Shout for joy, daughter of Zion; shout, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all the heart, daughter of Jerusalem! ¹⁵ Jehovah has turned off your judgments; He has turned away your enemy. Jehovah, the King of Israel, is in your midst; you shall not fear evil any more.

¹² And speak to him, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold! The Man whose name is THE BRANCH! And He shall spring up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of Jehovah. ¹³ Even He shall build the temple of Jehovah; and He shall bear the majesty, and shall sit and rule on His throne. And He shall be a priest on His throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between the two of them.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous and victorious, lowly, and riding on an ass, even on a colt, the son of an ass. ¹⁰ And I Will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem. And the battle bow shall be cut off, and He shall speak peace to the nations. And His dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

² saying, Where is He born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.

⁶ "And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judea, in no way are you least among the governors of Judah, for out of you shall come a Governor who shall shepherd My people Israel." Mic. 5:2

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, "and you will find rest to your souls." Jer. 6:16

¹⁹ He will not strive nor cry out, nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets. ²⁰ A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench, until He bring forth judgment to victory." Isa. 42:1 -3

⁴ And they departed and found the colt tied at the door outside, by the crossway; and they untied it. ⁵ And some of those standing there said to them, What are you doing, untying the colt? ⁶ And they said to them as Jesus commanded, and they let them go. ⁷ And they led the colt to Jesus. And they threw their garments on it, and He sat on it. ⁸ And many spread their garments on the highway, and others were cutting branches from the trees and were spreading them on the highway. ⁹ And those going before, and those following after, were crying out, saying, Hosanna! "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!" Psa. 118:25, 26 ¹⁰ Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! ¹¹ And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple. And having looked around at all things, the hour already being late, He went out to Bethany with the Twelve.

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.

¹⁵ But they cried out, Away, Away! Crucify him! Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered, We have no king except Caesar. ¹⁶ Therefore, then, he delivered Him up to them, that He might be crucified. And they took Jesus and led Him away. ¹⁷ And He went out bearing His cross, to the place called Of a Skull (which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha), ¹⁸ where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, on this side and on that side, and Jesus in the middle. ¹⁹ And Pilate also wrote a title and put it on the cross. And having been written, it was: JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS. ²⁰ Therefore, many of the Jews read this title, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city. And it had been written in Hebrew, in Greek, in Latin. ²¹ Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Do not write, The king of the Jews, but that one said, I am king of the Jews. ²² Pilate answered, What I have written, I have written.

¹ And I myself, Paul, call on you through the meekness and gentleness of Christ (I, who indeed to look upon am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you);

³ doing nothing according to party spirit or self-glory, but in humility, esteeming one another to surpass themselves; ⁴ each not looking at their own things, but each also at the things of others. ⁵ For let this mind be in you which also was in Christ Jesus,
