⁴¹ Let us lift up our heart and palms to God in Heaven.

¹ A Psalm of David. To You, O Jehovah, I lift up my soul.

² Hear the voice of my prayers in my crying to You, when I lift my hands toward Your Holy of Holies.

⁴ So I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

⁴ Give joy to the soul of Your servant; for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

² Let my prayer be established before You as incense; the lifting up of my palms as the evening sacrifice.

⁶ I spread out my hands to You; my soul thirsts to You like a thirsty land. Selah. ⁷ O Jehovah, answer me quickly; my spirit is failing; do not hide Your face from me lest I be like the ones who go down to the Pit. ⁸ Cause me to hear Your mercy in the morning, for I do trust in You; cause me to know the way I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.

⁸ Longing over you in this way, we were pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own souls, because you have become beloved to us.
