¹ I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. ² Every branch in Me not bearing fruit, He takes it away; and each one bearing fruit, He prunes, so that it may bear more fruit. ³ You are already pruned because of the Word which I have spoken to you. ⁴ Remain in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. ⁵ I am the Vine; you are the branches. He that remains in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are not able to do anything. ⁶ Unless one remains in Me, he is cast out as the branch and is dried up; and they gather and throw them into a fire, and they are burned. ⁷ If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, whatever you desire you will ask, and it shall happen to you. ⁸ In this My Father is glorified, that you should bear much fruit; and you will be My disciples. ⁹ As the Father loved Me, I also loved you; continue in My love. ¹⁰ If you keep My commandments you will continue in My love, as I have kept My Father's commandments and continue in His love. ¹¹ I have spoken these things to you that My joy may abide in you, and your joy may be full. ¹² This is My commandment, that you love one another as I loved you. ¹³ Greater love than this has no one, that anyone should lay down his soul for his friends. ¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. ¹⁵ I no longer call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his lord does. But I called you friends, because all things which I heard from My Father I made known to you. ¹⁶ You have not chosen Me, but I chose you out and planted you, that you should go and should bear fruit, and your fruit remain, that whatever you should ask the Father in My name, He may give you. ¹⁷ These things I command you, that you love one another. ¹⁸ If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it has hated you. ¹⁹ If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you. ²⁰ Remember the Word which I said to you, A slave is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted Me, they also will persecute you. If they kept My Word, they also will keep yours. ²¹ But all these things they will do to you on account of My name, because they do not know the One who sent Me. ²² If I had not come and had not spoken to them, they had no sin. But now they do not have excuse as to their sin. ²³ The one hating Me also hates My Father. ²⁴ If I did not do the works among them which no other did, they had no sin. But now they both have seen and also have hated Me and My Father. ²⁵ But that may be fulfilled the Word that has been written in their Law, "They hated Me without a cause." Psa. 69:4 ²⁶ And when the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, that One will witness concerning Me. ²⁷ And you also witness, because from the beginning you are with Me.

¹⁰ The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawmaker from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and the obedience of the peoples to him. ¹¹ Binding his foal to the vine, and his ass's colt to the choice vine, he washes his clothing in wine, and his covering in the bloods of grapes.

⁸ You have led a vine out of Egypt; You have cast out the nations, and have planted it. ⁹ You cleared before it, and You have rooted its roots; and it has filled the land. ¹⁰ The hills were covered with its shadow; and its boughs were as the cedars of God. ¹¹ It was sending its boughs out to the sea, and its branches to the River. ¹² Why have You broken down its walls, so that it is plucked by all who pass by the way? ¹³ A boar out of the forest wastes it, and the beast of the field feeds on it. ¹⁴ O God of hosts, we beg You, return! Look down from Heaven and see and visit this vine, ¹⁵ and the vineyard which Your right hand has planted, and on the Son You made strong for Yourself. ¹⁶ It is burned with fire, cut down; they perish at the rebuke of Your face. ¹⁷ Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand; on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself. ¹⁸ So we will not backslide from You; make us live, and we will call on Your name. ¹⁹ O Jehovah, God of hosts, turn us again! Cause Your face to shine, and we will be saved.

¹² Let us rise up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flowers and the blossom opens, and the pomegranates bud forth. There I will give my loves to You.

¹¹ Solomon had a vineyard in Baal-hamon. He let the vineyard out to keepers; for its fruit everyone was to bring a thousand of silver. ¹² My vineyard which is mine is before me; the thousand is for you, O Solomon, and two hundred for the keepers of its fruit.

² In that day the Branch of Jehovah will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth for pride and for glory for the survivors of Israel.

¹ Now I will sing to my Beloved a song of my Beloved concerning His vineyard: My Beloved has a vineyard in a fruitful horn. ² And He dug it, and cleared it of stones, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in its midst, and also hewed out a wine vat in it. And He waited for it to produce grapes, but it produced rotten grapes. ³ And now, O people of Jerusalem and men of Judah, I ask you, judge between Me and My vineyard. ⁴ What more could have been done to My vineyard that I have not done in it? Who knows? I waited for it to yield grapes, but it yielded rotten grapes. ⁵ And now I will make known to you what I will do then to My vineyard. I will take away its hedge, and it will be burned. I will breach its wall, and it will become a trampling ground. ⁶ And I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned nor hoed; but briers and thorns shall come up. And I will command the clouds from raining rain on it. ⁷ For the vineyard of Jehovah of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the man of Judah is His delightful plant. And He waited for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, a cry!

² In that day sing to it, A vineyard of desire; ³ I, Jehovah, keep it; I will water it every moment, that no one punish it; I will guard it night and day.

²¹ And your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the earth forever, a branch of My planting, a work of My hands, to beautify Myself.

³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, in order to beautify Himself.

²¹ Yet I planted you a choice vine, wholly a true seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate shoots of an alien vine to Me?

¹⁰ Many shepherds have destroyed My vineyard; they have trampled My portion under foot; they have made My pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

² Son of man, how is the vine tree more than any other tree, or than a branch that is among the trees of the forest? ³ Shall wood be taken from it to do work? Or will men take from it for a peg to hang every vessel on it? ⁴ Behold, it is put in the fire for fuel. The fire devours both its ends, and its middle is charred. Will it prosper for work? ⁵ Behold, when it was whole it was not made for work. How much less when the fire has devoured it, and it is charred! Shall it yet be made to work? ⁶ Therefore, so says the Lord Jehovah: As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, it which I have given to the fire for fuel, so I will give the dwellers of Jerusalem.

¹ Israel is a luxuriant vine; he bears fruit for himself. According to the plenty of his fruit he has increased the altars. They have made beautiful images according to the goodness of his land.

⁸ Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your associates who are sitting before you; for they are men of symbol.

¹ For the kingdom of Heaven is like a man, a housemaster, who went out when it was early to hire workers into his vineyard.

³³ Hear another parable: There was a certain man, a house master, who planted a vineyard and placed a hedge around it; and he dug a winepress in it, and built a tower. And he rented it to vinedressers and left the country. Isa. 5:1, 2

¹ And He began to speak to them in parables: "A man planted a vineyard, and set a fence around it," and dug a winevat, "and built a tower." And he rented it to vinedressers and went away. Isa. 5:1, 2

⁶ And He spoke this parable: A certain one had planted a fig tree in his vineyard. And he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any .

⁹ He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world.

¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

³² Then Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses has not given you the bread out of Heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread out of Heaven.

⁵⁵ For My flesh is truly food, and My blood is truly drink.

⁹ For we are fellow workers of God, a field of God, and you are a building of God.

⁸ Again I write a new commandment to you which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true Light already shines.

⁹ And the righteous shall hold firmly on his way; and he of clean hands adds strength.

⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. ⁸ Cause me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones You have crushed may rejoice. ⁹ Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. ¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a steadfast spirit within me. ¹¹ Do not cast me out from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. ¹² Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. ¹³ Then I will teach transgressors Your ways; and sinners will turn back to You.

¹⁸ But the path of the just is as a bright light going on and shining till the day is established.

⁹ By this, then, the iniquity of Jacob will be covered, and this is all the fruit, to take away his sin; when he makes all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in pieces; Asherahs and sun pillars shall not rise.

¹⁹ And the humble ones shall increase joy in Jehovah, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

³ Then we shall know, we who follow on to know Jehovah. His going forth is established as the dawn. And He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.

³ And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and He shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them like gold and like silver, that they may be presenters of a food offering in righteousness to Jehovah.

¹⁰ But already the axe is even laid at the root of the trees; therefore, any tree not bringing forth good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire.

¹² whose fan is in His hand, and He will cleanse His floor and will gather His wheat into the barn. But He will burn up the chaff with fire that cannot be put out.

¹² For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have overabundance. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.

³³ He spoke another parable to them: The kingdom of Heaven is compared to leaven, which taking, a woman hid in three measures of meal until the whole was leavened.

¹³ But answering, He said, Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.

¹⁹ And seeing one fig tree by the road, He went up to it, and found nothing on it except leaves only. And He said to it, Let there be no more fruit from you forever. And the fig tree immediately dried up.

¹³ And those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the Word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a time, and in time of trial draw back.

⁷ And he said to the vinedresser, Behold, three years I come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down, and why does it waste the ground? ⁸ And the vinedresser said to him, Sir, leave it also this year until I shall dig around it and throw manure; ⁹ and see if it indeed makes fruit. But if not, in the future you may cut it down.

⁸ In this My Father is glorified, that you should bear much fruit; and you will be My disciples.

¹⁶ You have not chosen Me, but I chose you out and planted you, that you should go and should bear fruit, and your fruit remain, that whatever you should ask the Father in My name, He may give you.

¹² While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name; I guarded those whom You gave to Me, and not one of them was lost, except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

³ And not only so, but we glory also in afflictions, knowing that affliction works out patience, ⁴ and patience works out proven character; and proven character, hope. ⁵ And the hope does not put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us;

²⁸ But we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose;

¹ If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but I do not have love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

¹⁷ For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us an eternal weight of glory, surpassing moment by surpassing moment; ¹⁸ we not considering the things seen, but the things not being seen; for the things being seen are not lasting, but the things not being seen are everlasting.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, ²³ meekness, self-control. Against such things there is not a law.

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may yet abound more and more in full knowledge and all perception, ¹⁰ for you to distinguish the things that differ, that you may be sincere and without blame for the day of Christ, ¹¹ being filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

⁵ because of the hope being laid up for you in Heaven, which you heard before in the Word of the truth of the gospel, ⁶ coming to you, as also in all the world, and it is bearing fruit even also among you, from the day in which you heard and knew the grace of God in truth; ⁷ even as you also learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow-slave, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you, ⁸ he also showing to us your love in the Spirit. ⁹ For this cause also, from the day in which we heard, we do not cease praying on your behalf, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, ¹⁰ for you to walk worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God;

²³ And may the God of peace Himself fully sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. ²⁴ He who calls you is faithful, who also will perform it .

¹⁴ who gave Himself on our behalf, "that He might redeem us from all iniquity" "and purify" "a people" "for His own possession," zealous of good works. Psa. 130:8; Eze. 37:23; Deut. 14:2

⁷ (For the earth drinking in the rain often coming upon it, and producing plants fit for those for whom it is also worked, receives blessing from God; ⁸ "but bearing thorns and thistles," it is deemed unfit and near a curse, of which the end is for burning.) Gen. 3:17, 18

¹⁰ For they truly disciplined us for a few days according to the thing seeming good to them; but He for our profit, in order for us to partake of His holiness. ¹¹ And all discipline for the present indeed does not seem to be joyous, but grievous; but afterward it gives back peaceable fruit of righteousness to the ones having been exercised by it.

¹⁵ watching diligently that not any lack from the grace of God, that "no root of bitterness growing up" may crowd "in on you ", and through this many be defiled; Deut. 29:18

¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they were of us, they would have remained with us; but they left so that it might be revealed that they all are not of us.

¹⁹ I, as many "as I love, I rebuke and I chasten." Be zealous, then, and repent. Prov. 3:12

¹⁰ Jesus said to him, The one having been bathed has no need other than to wash the feet, but is wholly clean. And you are clean, but not all.

¹⁷ Sanctify them in Your truth; Your Word is truth.

²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word,

²² Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unpretended brotherly love, love one another fervently out of a pure heart,

⁵ Who is this that comes up from the wilderness, leaning on her Beloved? I awakened you under the apple tree; there your mother travailed with you; there she travailed; she bore you.

¹⁰ For the fortified city shall be lonely, a forsaken pasture, and left like a wilderness. The calf shall feed there, and he shall lie there, and eat up its branches. ¹¹ When its boughs dry up, they are broken off. Women shall come and burn them, for it is a people with no understanding. On account of this His Maker shall not pity him, and His Former will not favor him.

⁸ Ephraim shall say, What is to me any more with idols? I eyed him, and I surveyed him. I am as a green cypress tree; your fruit is found from Me.

¹⁵ And those in the good ground, these are the ones who in a right and good heart, hearing the Word, they hold it and bear fruit in patience.

⁵⁶ The one partaking of My flesh and drinking of My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of everlasting life. ⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

³¹ Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciples.

²⁰ In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.

⁵ I am the Vine; you are the branches. He that remains in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are not able to do anything. ⁶ Unless one remains in Me, he is cast out as the branch and is dried up; and they gather and throw them into a fire, and they are burned. ⁷ If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, whatever you desire you will ask, and it shall happen to you.

²³ I in them, and You in Me, that they may be perfected in one; and that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them, even as You loved Me.

²³ who having come, and seeing the grace of God, rejoiced. And he exhorted all with purpose of heart to abide near the Lord.

²² confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into the kingdom of God.

⁹ But you are not in flesh, but in Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone has not the Spirit of Christ, this one is not His. ¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, the body indeed is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

⁸ Beyond this I entreated the Lord three times, that it depart from me. ⁹ And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me. ¹⁰ Because of this, I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in dire needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for the sake of Christ. For when I may be weak, then I am powerful.

⁵ Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith, prove yourselves. Or do you not yourselves perceive that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are reprobates?

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf.

¹⁷ that through faith Christ may dwell in your hearts, having been rooted and founded in love,

¹¹ being filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

²³ if indeed you continue in the faith grounded and settled and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard proclaimed in all the creation under Heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

²⁷ to whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

⁶ Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him,

⁵ Because of this, no longer enduring, I also sent to know your faith, that the tempting one not somehow tempt you, and our labor should become to no avail.

³⁹ But we are not of those withdrawing to destruction, but of faith, to the preservation of the soul.

⁶ The one saying to rest in Him ought so to walk himself as that One walked.

²⁴ Then what you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you will abide both in the Son and in the Father. ²⁵ And this is the promise which He promised us: everlasting life. ²⁶ I wrote these things to you concerning the ones leading you astray. ²⁷ And the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and as He taught you, abide in Him. ²⁸ And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He is revealed we may have confidence, and not be shamed from Him in His coming.

⁹ Everyone transgressing and not abiding in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. The one abiding in the doctrine of Christ, this one has the Father and the Son.

²⁰ But you, beloved, building yourselves up by your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, ²¹ keep yourselves in the love of God, eagerly awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to everlasting life.

³⁰ The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he who takes souls is wise.

⁸ They eat up the sin of My people, and they lift their vitality to their iniquity.

⁶ And He spoke this parable: A certain one had planted a fig tree in his vineyard. And he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any .

¹⁹ Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is not able to do anything from Himself, except what He may see the Father doing; for whatever that One does, these things also the Son does the same way.

³³ If this One was not from God, He could not do anything.

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless the grain of wheat that falls into the earth dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.

¹² and there is salvation in no other One, for neither is there any other name under Heaven having been given among men by which we must be saved.

²² But now being set free from sin, and being enslaved to God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end everlasting life.

⁴ So that, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, for you to become Another's, to One raised from the dead, so that we may bear fruit to God.

⁵ so we the many are one body in Christ, and each one members of one another,

¹⁶ The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a partaking of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a partaking of the body of Christ?

¹² Even as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

²⁷ And you are Christ's body, and members in part.

¹⁰ Now He that supplies seed to the sower and bread for eating, may He supply and multiply your seed and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

⁸ For we cannot have any power against the truth, but for the truth.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

⁹ For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

¹³ I can do all things through Christ, the One giving me power.

¹⁷ Not that I seek a gift, but I seek the fruit multiplying to your account.

⁶ coming to you, as also in all the world, and it is bearing fruit even also among you, from the day in which you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

¹⁰ for you to walk worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God;

¹⁷ every act of good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning.

⁴ to whom having drawn near, a living Stone, indeed having been rejected by men, but chosen by God, precious;

² Grace to you, and peace be multiplied by a full knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. ³ As His divine power has given to us all things pertaining to life and godliness through the full knowledge of the One calling us through glory and virtue, ⁴ by which means He has given to us the very great and precious promises, so that through these you might be partakers of the divine nature, escaping from the corruption in the world by lust. ⁵ But also in this very thing, bringing in all diligence, filling in your faith with virtue; and virtue with knowledge; ⁶ and knowledge with self-control; and self-control with patience; and patience with godliness; ⁷ and godliness with brotherly love; and brotherly love with love. ⁸ For these things being in you, and abounding, they will make you not idle, not unfruitful in the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ For the one in whom these things are not present is blind, being shortsighted, taking on forgetfulness of the cleansing of his sins in time past. ¹⁰ On account of this, brothers, rather be diligent to make sure of your calling and election; for doing these things, you will not ever fall into sin . ¹¹ For so will be richly furnished to you the entrance into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. ¹² For this reason I will not neglect to cause you to remember always concerning these things, though you know and have been confirmed in the present truth. ¹³ But I deem it right, so long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by a reminder, ¹⁴ knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle is soon, as indeed our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me. ¹⁵ And I will also be diligent to cause you always to have memory of these things after my departure. ¹⁶ For not following fables which had been cleverly devised, but having become eyewitnesses of the majesty of Jesus Christ, we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord. ¹⁷ For receiving honor and glory from God the Father such a voice being borne to Him from the magnificent glory, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I was well pleased," Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Matt. 17:5 ¹⁸ even we heard this voice being borne out of Heaven, being with Him in the holy mountain,

¹⁸ But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

³⁰ He shall not escape from darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches; and he shall turn at the breath of His mouth.

¹⁵ and the vineyard which Your right hand has planted, and on the Son You made strong for Yourself.

¹⁹ But you are thrown from your grave like a despised branch, like the covering of the slain, those pierced by the sword, those who go down into the stones of the Pit, like a dead body trampled under foot.

Shall it yet be made to work? ⁶ Therefore, so says the Lord Jehovah: As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, it which I have given to the fire for fuel, so I will give the dwellers of Jerusalem. ⁷ And I will set my face against them. They shall go out from the fire, and the fire shall devour them. And you shall know that I am Jehovah when I set My face against them.

⁹ Say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Shall it prosper? Shall he not pull up its roots and cut off its fruit and wither it? All the leaves of its sprouting shall wither, and not with great arm, nor by many people shall any raise it by its roots.

¹² But she was plucked in fury. She was thrown to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit. Her strong rods were torn away and withered; the fire burned her. ¹³ And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground. ¹⁴ And fire has gone out from a rod of her branches, it consumed her fruit, and there is not a strong rod in her to be a scepter to rule. It is a lament, and has become a lament.

¹⁹ Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire.

⁴¹ The Son of man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the offenses, and those who practice lawlessness.

⁵ And tossing the silver pieces into the Holy Place, he left. And going away he hanged himself.

² Every branch in Me not bearing fruit, He takes it away; and each one bearing fruit, He prunes, so that it may bear more fruit.

²⁷ but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and "zealous fire being about to consume the adversaries." Isa. 26:11

²⁰ For if by a full knowledge of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, they have escaped the defilements of the world, and again being entangled they have been overcome by these, then their last things have become worse than the first.

¹² These are sunken rocks in your love feasts, feasting together with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds being carried about by winds, fruitless autumn trees, having died twice, having been plucked up by the roots; ¹³ wild waves of the sea foaming up their shames, wandering stars for whom blackness of darkness has been kept forever.

¹⁵ And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire.

⁸ But for the cowardly and unbelieving, and those having become foul, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the lying ones, their part will be in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

⁶ And these words which I am commanding you today shall be on your heart.

²⁶ for then you will delight over the Almighty, and you will lift up your face to God.

¹² nor have I departed from the command of His lips; I treasured the words of His mouth more than my portion.

⁴ And delight yourself in Jehovah, that He may give you your heart's desire.

¹¹ I have hidden Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

⁴ And he taught me and said to me, Let your heart cling to my words; keep my commands and live.

²⁴ That which the wicked fears shall come upon him, but the desire of the righteous is granted.

⁸ Then your light shall break as the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly; and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of Jehovah shall gather you.

¹⁶ Your words were found and I ate them; and Your Word was to me the joy and gladness of my heart. For I am called by Your name, O Jehovah, God of hosts.

⁷ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

³⁷ I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word has no place in you.

¹³ And whatever you may ask in My Name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

²³ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you, Whatever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

² but is under guardians and housemasters until the term set before by the father.

¹⁶ But I say, Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

¹⁶ Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and exhorting yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

¹⁴ Fathers, I have written to you because you have known Him from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

²⁷ And the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and as He taught you, abide in Him.

²² And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments, and we do the things pleasing before Him.

¹⁴ And this is the confidence we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

¹ The elder to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not I only, but also all those who have known the truth, ² because of the truth remaining among us, and will be with us forever.

¹² The righteous shall flourish as the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. ¹³ Those planted in the house of Jehovah, in the courts of our God, shall flourish. ¹⁴ They shall bear fruit in old age; they shall be fat and fresh, ¹⁵ to declare that Jehovah is upright, my Rock! And in Him is no evil.

⁸ Go up the mountain and bring wood and build this house. And I will be pleased with it, and I will be glorified, says Jehovah.

¹⁶ So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father in Heaven.

⁴⁴ but I say to you, Love your enemies; bless those cursing you, do well to those hating you; and pray for those abusing and persecuting you,

³⁵ But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be much; and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the unthankful and evil ones.

³⁵ By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love among one another.

⁵ I am the Vine; you are the branches. He that remains in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are not able to do anything.

²⁰ You were bought with a price; then glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are of God.

³¹ Then whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things to the glory of God.

¹⁰ Now He that supplies seed to the sower and bread for eating, may He supply and multiply your seed and increase the fruits of your righteousness, ¹¹ in everything you being enriched to all generosity, which works out thanksgiving to God through us. ¹² Because the ministry of this service is not only making up the things lacking of the saints, but also multiplying through many thanksgivings to God, ¹³ through the proof of this service, they glorifying God by your freely expressed submission to the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of the fellowship toward them and toward all; ¹⁴ and in their prayer for you, a longing after you, because of the overflowing grace of God on you. ¹⁵ But thanks be to God for His unspeakable free gift.

⁵ discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be blasphemed,

¹⁰ not stealing, but showing all good faith, that they may adorn the doctrine of our Savior God in all things.

¹² having your behavior good among the nations, in that which they speak against you as evildoers; by observing your good works, they may glorify God in a day of visitation.

¹¹ If anyone speaks, let it be as the words of God; if anyone ministers, as by strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom is the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen.

¹¹ I have spoken these things to you that My joy may abide in you, and your joy may be full.

¹³ Greater love than this has no one, that anyone should lay down his soul for his friends.

²³ I in them, and You in Me, that they may be perfected in one; and that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them, even as You loved Me. ²⁴ Father, I desire that those whom You have given Me, that where I am, they may be with Me also, that they may behold My glory which You gave Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

²⁶ And I made known to them Your name, and will make it known, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.

¹⁸ that you may be given strength to grasp, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and depth and height,

²⁸ And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He is revealed we may have confidence, and not be shamed from Him in His coming.

²⁰ But you, beloved, building yourselves up by your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the First-born out of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him loving us and washing us from our sins by His blood,

¹ Behold My Servant; I will uphold Him; My Elect in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring forth justice to the nations. ² He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. ³ A bruised reed He shall not break, and a smoking wick He shall not quench; He shall bring forth justice to truth. ⁴ He shall not fail nor be crushed until He has set justice in the earth; and the coasts shall wait for His law.

¹⁵ But answering, Jesus said to him, Allow it now, for it is becoming to us this way to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed Him. ¹⁶ And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water. And, behold! The heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God coming down as a dove, and coming upon Him. ¹⁷ And behold! A voice out of the heaven saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

³⁴ Jesus said to them, My food is that I should do the will of Him who sent Me, and that I may finish His work.

²⁹ And the One who sent Me is with Me. The Father did not leave Me alone, for I do the things pleasing to Him always.

⁴⁹ For I did not speak from Myself, but He who sent Me, the Father, He has given Me command, what I should say, and what I should speak.

¹⁵ If you love Me, keep My commandments.

²¹ He that has My commandments and keeps them, it is that one who loves Me; and the one that loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and will reveal Myself to him.

³¹ But that the world may know that I love the Father, even as the Father commanded Me, so I do. Rise up, let us go from here.

⁴ I have glorified You on the earth. I finished the work that You gave Me to do.

¹⁹ Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of God's commands.

¹ For the rest, then brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.

²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, harmless, undefiled, and separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens;

⁵ For this reason, coming into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You prepared a body for Me. ⁶ You did not delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins." ⁷ "Then I said, Lo, I come, in the heading of the Book, it was written concerning Me, to do Your will, O God." LXX-Psa. 39:7 -9; MT-Psa. 40:6 -8 ⁸ Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second; ¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

²¹ For it was better for them not to have fully known the way of righteousness, than fully knowing to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

¹ My little children, I write these things to you so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. ² And He is the propitiation relating to our sins, and not relating to ours only, but also relating to all the world.

⁵ But whoever keeps His word, truly in this one the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.

²¹ Beloved, if our heart does not accuse us, we have confidence with God. ²² And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments, and we do the things pleasing before Him. ²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as He gave command to us. ²⁴ And the one keeping His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit which He gave to us.

³ For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not heavy.

¹⁴ Blessed are the ones doing His commands, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and by the gates they may enter into the city.

¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

⁴ You no longer shall be called Forsaken; nor shall your land any longer be called Desolate. But you shall be called, My Delight is in Her; and your land, Married. For Jehovah delights in you, and your land is married.

⁴¹ And I will rejoice over them, to do good to them; and I will truly plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.

⁹ And it shall be a name of joy to Me, a praise and a glory to all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do for them. And they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the peace that I do for it.

¹⁷ Jehovah your God is mighty in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout.

⁵ And finding it, he puts it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

⁹ And finding it, she calls together the friends and neighbors, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I lost.

²³ And bring the fattened calf, slaughter and let us eat and be merry;

³² But to be merry and to rejoice was right, for this brother of yours was dead, and lived again; and being lost, also he was found.

²⁹ The one having the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, standing and hearing him, rejoices with joy because of the bridegroom's voice. Then this my joy has been fulfilled.

²⁴ Until now you asked nothing in My name; ask, and you will receive, so that your joy may be full.

³³ I have spoken these things to you that you may have peace in Me. You have distress in the world; but be encouraged, I have overcome the world.

¹³ And now I come to You, and I speak these things in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in them.

¹³ And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

²⁴ Not that we rule over your faith, but we are fellow-workers of your joy. For by faith you stand.

¹⁸ And "do not be drunk with wine," in which is debauchery, but be filled by the Spirit, Prov. 23:31

²⁵ And being persuaded of this, I know that I will remain and will continue with you all for your advancement and joy of faith,

¹⁶ Rejoice always.

⁸ whom having not seen, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with unspeakable and having been glorified,

⁴ And we write these things to you, that your joy may be full.

¹² Having many things to write to you, I do not intend to speak by means of paper and ink, but I am hoping to come to you, and to speak mouth to mouth, that our joy may be full.

³⁴ I give a new commandment to you, that you should love one another; according as I loved you, you should also love one another.

¹⁰ in brotherly love to one another, loving fervently, having gone before one another in honor;

² and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.

¹² And may the Lord make you to increase and to abound in love toward one another and toward all, even as we also toward you,

⁹ Now as to brotherly love, you have no need for me to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

³ Brothers, we are bound to give thanks to God always concerning you, even as it is right, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each one of you multiplies toward one another,

⁸ And, finally, be all of one mind, sympathetic, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly,

⁸ and above all things having fervent love to yourselves, "because love will cover a multitude of sins." Prov. 10:12

⁷ Brothers, I do not write a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. ⁸ Again I write a new commandment to you which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true Light already shines. ⁹ The one saying to be in the light, and hating his brother, is in the darkness until now. ¹⁰ The one loving his brother rests in the light, and no offense is in him.

¹¹ Because this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, ¹² not as Cain was of the evil one, and killed his brother. And for what did he kill him? Because his works were evil, but the things of his brother were righteous. ¹³ Do not marvel, my brothers, if the world hates you. ¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life because we love the brothers. The one not loving the brother remains in death. ¹⁵ Everyone hating the brother is a murderer, and you know that every murderer does not have everlasting life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we have known the love of God, because that One laid down His life for us; and on behalf of the brothers we ought to lay down our lives. ¹⁷ Whoever has the means of life of the world, and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God abide in him? ¹⁸ My little children, let us not love in word, or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as He gave command to us.

²¹ And we have this commandment from Him, that the one who loves God also loves his brother.

¹¹ I am the Good Shepherd! The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

¹⁵ Even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

⁶ for we yet being without strength, in due time Christ died for ungodly ones. ⁷ For with difficulty one will die for a just one, (for perhaps one even dares to die for the sake of the good one), ⁸ but God commends His love to us in this, that we being yet sinners, Christ died for us.

⁷ Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God, and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. ⁸ The one who does not love has not known God, because God is love. ⁹ By this the love of God was revealed in us, because His Son, the Only begotten, God has sent into the world that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be a propitiation relating to our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

⁷ Are You not our God? You have driven out the inhabitants of this land from before Your people Israel, and have given it to the seed of Abraham, Your friend forever;

¹ I have come into My garden, My sister, My spouse; I have gathered My myrrh with My spice. I have eaten My honeycomb with My honey; I have drunk My wine with My milk. Eat and drink, O friends; yea, drink fully, beloved ones.

⁸ But you Israel are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen; the seed of My friend Abraham;

⁵⁰ For whoever shall do the will of My Father in Heaven, that one is My brother and sister and mother.

⁴ But I say to you, My friends, stop being afraid of the ones killing the body, and after these things not having anything more they can do.

⁵ His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do.

¹⁷ If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

²⁸ You heard that I said to you, I am going away, and I am coming again to you. If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, I am going to the Father; for My Father is greater than I.

²³ And the Scripture was fulfilled, saying, "And Abraham believed God, and it was counted for righteousness to him;" and he was called, Friend of God. Gen. 15:6; Isa. 41:8

¹⁷ And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I am doing? ¹⁸ And Abraham shall become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? ¹⁹ For I have known him, so that whatever he may command his sons and his house after him, even they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice; to the intent that Jehovah may bring on Abraham that which He has spoken of him.

⁸ And the king of Syria was fighting against Israel, and rose up with his servants, saying, At such and such a place shall be my camp. ⁹ And the man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying, Be on guard in passing by this place, for the Syrians are coming down there. ¹⁰ And the king of Israel sent to the place of which the man of God spoke to him and warned him. And he protected himself there not once nor twice. ¹¹ And the heart of the king of Syria was enraged over this thing. And he called his servants and said to them, Will you not tell me who of us is for the king of Israel? ¹² And one of his servants said, No, my lord O king, For Elisha the prophet who is in Israel tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your sleeping room.

¹⁴ The secret of Jehovah is with those who fear Him; and He will make them know His covenant.

⁷ For the Lord Jehovah will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

¹¹ And answering, He said to them, Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it has not been given to those.

²³ And having turned to the disciples alone, He said, Blessed are the eyes seeing what you see.

¹⁹ The woman said to Him, Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

²⁶ I have many things to say and to judge concerning you; but the One sending Me is true, and what I heard from Him, these things I say to the world.

²⁶ If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will also be. And if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

¹⁶ Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his lord, nor a messenger greater than the one sending him.

²⁰ Remember the Word which I said to you, A slave is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted Me, they also will persecute you. If they kept My Word, they also will keep yours.

⁶ I revealed Your name to the men whom You gave to Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me; and they have kept Your Word. ⁷ Now they have known that all things, whatever You gave to Me, are from You. ⁸ For the words which You gave to Me, I have given to them. And they received and truly knew that I came out from beside You, and they believed that You sent Me.

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God, and your God.

²⁷ For I did not keep back from declaring to you all the counsel of God.

²⁵ Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the proclaiming of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been kept unvoiced during eternal times, ²⁶ but now has been made plain, and by prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;

⁹ according as it has been written, "Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard," nor has it risen up into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those that love Him. Isa. 64:4 ¹⁰ But God revealed them to us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. ¹¹ For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of a man within him? So also no one has known the things of God except the Spirit of God. ¹² But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

⁶ And because you are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba! Father!

⁹ making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now has been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,

²⁶ the mystery having been hidden from the ages and from the generations, but now was revealed to His saints;

¹⁶ no longer as a slave, but beyond a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, and how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

¹ James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the Dispersion, greeting:

¹¹ searching for what, or what sort of time the Spirit of Christ made clear within them; testifying beforehand of the sufferings belonging to Christ, and the glories after these.

¹ Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those equally precious with us, having obtained faith in the righteousness of our God and our Savior, Jesus Christ:

¹ Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the ones called in God the Father, having been set apart, and having been kept to Jesus Christ:

¹ A Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show to His slaves things which must occur quickly. And He signified by sending through His angel to His slave, John,

¹⁸ And Abraham shall become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

¹⁸ And now that I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not leave me until I have manifested Your strength to the generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.

⁴ We will not hide them from their sons; to declare to the coming generation the praises of Jehovah; yea, His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. ⁵ For he raised a testimony in Jacob, and set a law in Israel; which he commanded our fathers, to teach them to their sons; ⁶ So that a coming generation may know; sons shall be born; they shall rise up and tell their sons,

⁴ Generation to generation shall praise Your works; and shall declare Your mighty acts.

⁶ Those who come to Jacob, He shall make take root. Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the face of the world with fruit.

¹ Hear Me, coastlands, and you people from afar, and prick up your ear, Jehovah called Me from the womb; He mentioned My name from My mother's belly. ² And He made My mouth like a sharp sword; He hid Me in the shadow of His hand, and made Me a polished arrow; He hid me in His quiver; ³ and said to Me, You are My servant, Israel, You in whom I shall be glorified.

¹⁰ For as the rain and the snow comes down from the heavens and do not return there, except it waters the earth and make it bring forth and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, ¹¹ so shall My word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in what I sent it to do! ¹² For you shall go out with joy and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break out into song before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap the palm. ¹³ Instead of the thornbush, the fir tree shall come up; instead of the brier, the myrtle shall come up; and it shall be for a name to Jehovah, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

⁵ I knew you before I formed you in the belly; and before you came out of the womb, I consecrated you. I appointed you a prophet to the nations. ⁶ Then I said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Behold, I do not know how to speak for I am a boy. ⁷ But Jehovah said to me, Do not say, I am a boy; for you shall go to all that I shall send you. And whatever I command you, you shall speak.

⁷ And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers on a blade of grass, which does not wait for man, nor delay for the sons of men.

⁴ Do not be as your fathers, to whom the former prophets have proclaimed to them, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts: Turn now from your evil ways and your evil doings. But they did not hear or give heed to Me, says Jehovah. ⁵ Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever? ⁶ But My words and My statutes which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? And they returned and said, As Jehovah of hosts purposes to do to us, according to our ways and according to our deeds, so He has done with us.

²² And all things, whatever you may ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.

¹⁸ And coming up Jesus talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me. ¹⁹ Going, then, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁵ And He said to them, Going into all the world, preach the gospel to all the creation. ¹⁶ The one believing and being baptized will be saved. And the one not believing will be condemned.

¹³ And when it became day, He called His disciples, also choosing out twelve from them, whom He also named apostles:

⁴⁷ And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ And you are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹ And, behold, I send forth the promise of My Father on you. But you sit in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Did I not choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!

¹⁸ I do not speak concerning all of you; I know whom I chose out; but that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "The one eating the bread with Me lifted up his heel against Me." Psa. 41:9

¹³ And whatever you may ask in My Name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ If you ask anything in My Name, I will do it .

⁷ If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, whatever you desire you will ask, and it shall happen to you. ⁸ In this My Father is glorified, that you should bear much fruit; and you will be My disciples.

¹⁹ If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you.

²³ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you, Whatever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give you. ²⁴ Until now you asked nothing in My name; ask, and you will receive, so that your joy may be full.

²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you. As the Father has sent Me, I also send you. ²² And saying this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. ²³ Of whomever you forgive the sins, they are forgiven to them. Or whomever you may retain, they are retained.

¹⁵ Then when they broke fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs! ¹⁶ Again He says to him, secondly, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? He says to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Shepherd My sheep! ¹⁷ Thirdly, He said to him, Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved that He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to him, Lord, You perceive all things, You know that I love You! Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep!

⁸ but you will receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you, and you will be witnesses of Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

²⁴ And having prayed, they said, You, Lord, knower of all hearts, show which one You chose from these two,

¹⁵ And the Lord said to him, Go, for this one is a chosen vessel to Me, to bear My name before nations and kings and the sons of Israel.

⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses, the ones having been before hand-picked by God, to us who ate and drank with Him after His rising again from the dead.

²⁵ And now, behold, I know that you all will see my face no more, among whom I went about proclaiming the kingdom of God. ²⁶ Because of this I testify to you on this day that I am pure from the blood of all. ²⁷ For I did not keep back from declaring to you all the counsel of God. ²⁸ Then take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased through His own blood.

¹⁴ And he said, The God of our fathers appointed you to know His will, and to see the Just One, and to hear a voice out of His mouth;

⁵ by whom we received grace and apostleship to obedience of faith among all the nations, for His name's sake,

¹³ But I do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, that often I purposed to come to you, and was kept back until the present, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the other nations.

¹¹ for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of the One calling, ¹² it was said to her, "The greater shall serve the lesser;" Gen. 25:23 ¹³ even as it has been written, "I loved Jacob, and I hated Esau." Mal. 1:2, 3 ¹⁴ What then shall we say? Is there not unrighteousness with God? Let it not be! ¹⁵ For He said to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will pity whomever I will pity." Ex. 33:19 ¹⁶ So, then, it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of the One showing mercy, of God.

²¹ Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, out of the one lump to make one vessel to honor, and one to dishonor? Jer. 18:6

⁴ For whatever things were written before were written for our instruction, that through patience and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

¹⁵ But I wrote to you more boldly, brothers, as reminding you in part, because of the grace given to me by God, ¹⁶ for me to be a minister of Jesus Christ to the nations, sacredly ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the nations might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ Therefore I have boasting in Christ Jesus as to the things pertaining to God. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of anything which Christ did not work out through me for the obedience of the nations in word and work, ¹⁹ in power of miracles and wonders, in power of the Spirit of God, so as for me to have fulfilled the preaching of the gospel of Christ from Jerusalem and in a circle as far as Illyricum.

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God made to grow. ⁷ So as neither he planting is anything, nor he watering, but God making to grow.

¹⁶ For if I announce the gospel, no glory is to me; for necessity is laid on me, and it is woe to me if I do not announce the gospel. ¹⁷ For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship. ¹⁸ What then is my reward? That announcing the gospel I may make the gospel of Christ free, so as not to use fully my authority in the gospel.

¹¹ And all these things happened to those as examples, and it was written for our warning, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

¹⁵ But when God was pleased, "He having separated me from my mother's womb" and having called through His grace, Isa. 49:1

¹⁰ for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.

⁷ to which I was appointed a herald and apostle (I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie), a teacher of the nations, in faith and truth.

¹¹ for which I was appointed a herald and apostle and a teacher of nations.

² And what things you heard from me through many witnesses, commit these things to faithful men, such as will be competent also to teach others.

¹⁵ and that from a babe you know the Holy Scriptures, those being able to make you wise to salvation through belief in Christ Jesus. ¹⁶ Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, ¹⁷ so that the man of God may be perfected, fully furnished for every good work.

⁵ For this cause I left you in Crete, that you might set in order the things lacking and appoint elders in every city, as I ordered you:

⁴ By faith Abel offered a greater sacrifice to God than Cain, by which he obtained witness to be righteous, God testifying over his gifts; and through it, having died, he yet speaks.

¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for the ones making peace.

¹⁴ as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves to your former lusts in your ignorance, ¹⁵ but according to the Holy One who has called you, you also become holy in all conduct; ¹⁶ because it has been written, "Be holy," "because I am holy." Lev. 19:2 ¹⁷ And if you call on the Father, the One judging according to the work of each one without respect to persons, pass the time of your sojourning in fear, ¹⁸ knowing that not with corruptible things, silver or gold, you were redeemed from your worthless way of life handed down from your fathers, ¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb, ²⁰ indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times because of you, ²¹ the ones believing in God through Him, He raising Him from the dead, and giving glory to Him so that your faith and hope may be in God.

² observing your pure behavior in fear.

¹⁵ But sanctify" Isa. 8:12, 13 the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give an answer to everyone asking you a reason concerning the hope in you, with meekness and fear,

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be a propitiation relating to our sins.

¹⁹ We love Him because He first loved us.

¹² This is My commandment, that you love one another as I loved you.

¹⁷ honor all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.

¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life because we love the brothers. The one not loving the brother remains in death. ¹⁵ Everyone hating the brother is a murderer, and you know that every murderer does not have everlasting life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we have known the love of God, because that One laid down His life for us; and on behalf of the brothers we ought to lay down our lives. ¹⁷ Whoever has the means of life of the world, and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

⁸ And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Yet one man, to seek Jehovah by him. But I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil, Micaiah the son of Imlah. And Jehoshaphat said, let not the king say so.

⁷ So says Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, to the despised of soul, to the hated of the nation, the servant of rulers, Kings shall see and rise up; and chiefs shall worship; because of Jehovah who is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel; and He chose You.

³ He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness. And as it were hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him.

⁸ I also cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul despised them, and their soul also detested Me.

¹¹ Blessed are you when they shall reproach you, and persecute you, and shall say every evil word against you, lying, on account of Me.

²² And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one enduring to the end shall be kept safe.

⁹ Then they will deliver you up to affliction, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.

¹³ And you will be hated by all on account of My name. But the one enduring to the end, that one will be kept safe.

²² Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they cut you off, and will reproach you, and will cast out your name as evil, on account of the Son of man;

²⁰ For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed.

⁷ The world cannot hate you; but it hates Me because I witness about it, that its works are evil.

²³ The one hating Me also hates My Father. ²⁴ If I did not do the works among them which no other did, they had no sin. But now they both have seen and also have hated Me and My Father. ²⁵ But that may be fulfilled the Word that has been written in their Law, "They hated Me without a cause." Psa. 69:4

² looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1

⁴ Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever, then, purposes to be a friend of the world is shown to be an enemy of God.

¹ See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

³ And everyone having this hope on Him purifies himself even as that One is pure.

¹³ Do not marvel, my brothers, if the world hates you.

³² And if you love those who love you, what thanks is there to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

¹⁴ I have given them Your Word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world. ¹⁵ I do not pray that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from evil. ¹⁶ They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

⁴ according as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, for us to be holy and without blemish before Him in love, ⁵ predestinating us to adoption through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, ⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace in which He favored us in the One having been loved, ⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace ⁸ which He caused to abound toward us in all wisdom and understanding, ⁹ making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, ¹⁰ for the administration of the fullness of the times to head up all things in Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things on earth, in Him, ¹¹ in whom we also have been chosen to an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of the One working all things according to the counsel of His own will,

² in which you then walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit now working in the sons of disobedience, ³ among whom we also all conducted ourselves in times past in the lusts of our flesh, doing the things willed of the flesh and of the understandings, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as the rest. ⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ even we being dead in sins, He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are being saved),

³ For we also once were senseless, disobedient, led astray, slaving for various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. ⁴ But when the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, ⁵ not by works in righteousness which we had done, but according to His mercy, He saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ, our Savior; ⁷ that being justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

⁹ But you are "an elect race," "a royal priesthood," "a holy nation," "a people for possession," so that "you may openly speak of the virtues" of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; LXX-Ex. 23:22; MT-Ex. 19:5, 6 ¹⁰ you who then were "not a people, but now are the people" of God; "the one not pitied then but now pitied." Hos. 1:6, 9 2:1, 23 ¹¹ Beloved, I exhort you as temporary residents and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul; ¹² having your behavior good among the nations, in that which they speak against you as evildoers; by observing your good works, they may glorify God in a day of visitation.

³ For the time of life having passed is sufficient for us to have worked out the will of the nations, having gone on in wantonness, lusts, drunkenness, parties, carousings, and unlawful idolatries;

¹² not as Cain was of the evil one, and killed his brother. And for what did he kill him? Because his works were evil, but the things of his brother were righteous.

⁴ Little children, you are of God and have overcome them, because He in you is greater than he in the world. ⁵ They are of the world; because of this they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in evil. ²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the true One, and we are in the true One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life everlasting.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called Devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹⁷ And the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, those keeping the commandments of God, and having the testimony of Jesus Christ.

⁷ And whenever the thousand years are ended, Satan will be set loose out of his prison, ⁸ and he will go to mislead the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to assemble them in war, whose number is as the sand of the sea. ⁹ And they went up over the breadth of the land and encircled the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire from God came down out of Heaven and burned them down.

⁷ And Jehovah said to Samuel, Listen to the voice of the people, to all that they say to you. For they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from reigning over them.

¹ Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Jehovah revealed? ² For He comes up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor magnificence that we should see Him; nor form that we should desire Him. ³ He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness. And as it were hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him.

⁷ But the house of Israel is not willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to Me, for all the house of Israel are strong of forehead and hard of heart.

²⁴ A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a slave above his lord.

³⁴ And Simeon blessed them and said to His mother Mariam, Behold, this One is set for the fall and rising up of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against;

⁴⁰ A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who has been perfected will be like his teacher.

¹⁶ And because of this, the Jews persecuted Jesus and lusted to kill Him, because He did these things on a sabbath.

³² The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things about Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers, that they might seize Him.

⁵¹ Truly, truly, I say to you, If anyone keeps My Word, he will never ever see death.

⁵⁹ Because of this, they took up stones that they might throw them on Him. But Jesus was hidden, and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

³¹ Then again the Jews took up stones, that they might stone Him.

⁵⁷ And all the chief priests and the Pharisees had given commands that if anyone knew where He is, he should inform so that they might seize Him.

²⁷ For truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the nations and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together against Your holy child Jesus, whom You anointed, ²⁸ to do whatever Your hand and Your counsel before-determined to be done. ²⁹ And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings and give to Your slaves to speak Your Word with all boldness, ³⁰ in the extending of Your hand for healing and miracles and wonders to happen through the name of Your holy child Jesus.

⁵² Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become betrayers and murderers, ⁵³ who received the Law by the disposition of angels and did not keep it . ⁵⁴ And hearing these things, they were cut to their hearts and gnashed the teeth on him. ⁵⁵ But being full of the Holy Spirit, looking intently into the heaven, he saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right of God. ⁵⁶ And he said, Behold, I see the heavens having been opened, and the Son of man standing at the right of God! ⁵⁷ And crying out with a loud voice, they held their ears and rushed on him with one passion. ⁵⁸ And throwing him outside the city, they stoned him . And the witnesses put off their garments at the feet of a young man called Saul. ⁵⁹ And they stoned Stephen, invoking and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. ⁶⁰ And placing the knees, he cried out with a loud voice, Lord, do not make stand this sin to them. And saying this, he fell asleep.

¹² and labor, working with our own hands. Being cursed, we bless; persecuted, we bear;

⁹ being persecuted, but not having been forsaken; being thrown down, but not having been destroyed;

¹⁵ who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, also driving us out, and not pleasing God, and being contrary to all men,

¹² And, indeed, all desiring to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

⁷ Because I suffered reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.

⁵ Hear the word of Jehovah, those who tremble at His word. Your brothers who hate you, who drive you out for My name's sake, have said, Jehovah is glorified. But He shall appear in your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

¹⁸ And also you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.

³⁹ The one finding his life shall lose it. And the one losing his life on account of Me shall find it.

¹⁹ Then they said to Him, Where is your father? Jesus answered, You neither know Me, nor My Father. If you had known Me, then you also would have known My Father.

⁵⁴ Jesus answered, If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, whom you say is your God.

³ And they will do these things to you because they do not know the Father nor Me.

¹⁷ And now, brothers, I know that you acted according to ignorance, as also did your rulers.

⁴¹ Then they indeed departed from the presence of the sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were deemed worthy to be dishonored on behalf of His name.

¹⁶ For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of My name.

²³ for passing through and looking up at the objects of your worship, I also found an altar on which had been written, TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Not knowing, then, whom you worship, I make Him known to you.

²⁵ And disagreeing with one another, they were let go, Paul saying one word: Well did the Holy Spirit speak through the prophet Isaiah to our fathers, ²⁶ saying, "Go to this people and say, You will surely hear, and not at all understand; and you will surely see, and not at all perceive; ²⁷ for the heart of this people was fattened, and they have heard with the ears heavily; and they closed their eyes lest at any time they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them." Isa. 6:9, 10

²⁸ And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,

⁸ which none of the rulers of this age has known. For if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

³⁴ Be righteously awake, and do not sin; for some have ignorance of God. I speak to your shame.

³ But also if our gospel is being hidden, it has been hidden in those being lost, ⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the brightness of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. ⁵ For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your slaves for the sake of Jesus. ⁶ Because it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine," who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

⁸ in flaming fire giving full vengeance to those not knowing God, and to those not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, Isa. 66:15; Jer. 10:25

¹³ but according as you share the sufferings of Christ, rejoice; so that you may rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His glory. ¹⁴ If you are reviled in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because "the Spirit of God and of glory rests on you." Truly, according to them, He is blasphemed; but according to you, He is glorified. Isa. 11:2

³ And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commands. ⁴ The one saying, I have known Him, and not keeping His commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that one.

³ And I know you bore up and have patience and on account of My name you have labored and have not wearied,

⁵ And they, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear (for they are a rebellious house), yea, they shall know that a prophet has been among them.

³¹ And they come to you as people come, and they sit before you as My people. And they hear your words, but they do not do them. For they produce much love with their mouth, but their heart goes after their unjust gain. ³² And, behold, you are to them as a singer of love songs with a beautiful voice, and playing well on an instrument. For they hear your words, but they are not doing them. ³³ So when it comes (behold, it is coming!), then they will know that a prophet has been in their midst.

⁴⁶ the lord of that slave will come in the day in which he does not expect, and in an hour which he does not know. And he will cut him apart and will put his portion with the unbelievers.

¹⁸ The one believing into Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed into the name of the only begotten Son of God. ¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed. ²¹ But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

⁴¹ Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, We see; therefore, your sin remains.

⁴⁸ The one who rejects Me and does not receive My words has that judging him: the Word which I spoke, that will judge him in the last Day.

¹¹ Jesus answered, You would have no authority against Me, not any, if it were not given to you from above. Because of this, the one delivering Me to you has a greater sin.

³⁰ Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now strictly commands all men everywhere to repent,

²⁰ for the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.

¹ Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, everyone who judges, for in that in which you judge the other, you condemn yourself; for you, those judging, practice the same things.

¹⁴ But thanks be to God, He always leading us in triumph in Christ, and the One revealing through us the odor of the knowledge of Him in every place. ¹⁵ For we are a sweet smell to God because of Christ in those being saved, and in those being lost; ¹⁶ to the one, an odor of death unto death, and to the other, an odor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

⁴ For it is impossible for those being once enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and becoming sharers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and tasting the good Word of God, and the works of power of a coming age, ⁶ then falling away, it is impossible for them again to renew to repentance, crucifying again for themselves the Son of God, and putting Him to open shame.

¹⁷ Therefore, to anyone knowing to do good, and not doing it, it is sin to him.

¹⁶ as free, and not having freedom as a cover of evil, but as slaves of God;

⁴⁰ But now you seek to kill Me, a man who has spoken the truth to you, which I heard alongside of God. Abraham did not do this. ⁴¹ You do the works of your father. They said to Him, We were not born of fornication; we have one father, God. ⁴² Then Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I went forth and have come from God. For I have not come from Myself, but that One sent Me.

²³ Everyone denying the Son does not have the Father. The one confessing the Son also has the Father.

⁵ you shall not bow to them, and you shall not serve them; for I am Jehovah your God, a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, on the third and on the fourth generation, to those that hate Me;

⁹ You shall not bow yourself to them nor serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of fathers on children, and on the third, and on the fourth generation of those that hate Me,

¹⁵ the haters of Jehovah shall be found untrue to Him, and their time is forever.

³⁶ But he who sins against me does violence to his own soul; all who hate me love death.

³³ And the demon being cast out, the dumb one spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, Never was it seen this way in Israel.

⁵ The blind receive sight, and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised, and the poor are given the gospel. Isa. 61:1

²⁰ Then He began to reproach the cities in which most of His powerful acts had occurred, for they did not repent. ²¹ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the powerful acts which have taken place in you had happened in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. ²² But I say to you, It shall be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon in Judgment Day than for you. ²³ And you, Capernaum, who "have been exalted to the heaven, you will be thrown down to Hades." For if the powerful acts happening in you had taken place in Sodom, it would remain until today. Isa. 14:13, 15 ²⁴ But I say to you, It will be more bearable for the land of Sodom in Judgment day than for you.

³² For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him. But the tax-collectors and the harlots believed him. And seeing, you did not repent afterwards to believe him.

¹² And at once he rose up. And taking his cot, he went out before all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, Never did we see it this way.

¹² And I say to you that it shall be more bearable for Sodom in that day than for that city! ¹³ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the works of power which have been occurring in you had occurred in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago sitting in sackcloth and ashes! ¹⁴ But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon in the Judgment than for you. ¹⁵ And you, Capernaum, were you not exalted to the heaven? "You will be thrust down to Hades!" Isa. 14:13, 15 ¹⁶ The one hearing you hears Me, and the one rejecting you also rejects Me, and the one rejecting Me also rejects the One having sent Me.

³⁷ And as He was already drawing near to the descent of the Mount of Olives, all the multitude of the disciples began rejoicing, to praise God with a loud voice concerning all the works of power which they saw, ³⁸ saying, "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord," the King. Peace in Heaven, and glory in the highest! Psa. 118:26 ³⁹ And some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to Him, Teacher, rebuke your disciples. ⁴⁰ And answering, He said to them, I say to you, If these should be silent, the stones will cry out.

¹⁹ And He said to them, What things? And they said to Him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a man, a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;

² This one came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You have come as a teacher from God. For no one is able to do these miracles which You do, except God be with Him.

³⁶ But I have the greater witness than John's, for the works which the Father has given Me, that I should finish them, the works which I do themselves witness concerning Me, that the Father has sent Me.

³⁶ But I said to you that you also have seen Me and did not believe.

³¹ But many of the crowd believed into Him, and said, The Christ, when He comes will He do more miracles than these which this One did?

³² From the beginning of the age it was never heard that anyone opened the eyes of one having been born blind.

³² Jesus answered them, I showed you many good works from My Father. For which work of them do you stone Me?

³⁷ If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me.

⁴⁷ Then the chief priests and the Pharisees assembled a sanhedrin, and said, What are we doing, for this man does many miracles? ⁴⁸ If we let him alone this way, all will believe into him, and the Romans will come and will take away from us both the place and the nation. ⁴⁹ But a certain one of them, Caiaphas being high priest of that year, said to them, You know nothing, ⁵⁰ nor consider that it is profitable for us that one man die for the people, and not all the nation to perish.

¹⁰ But the chief priests took counsel that they might put Lazarus to death also,

³⁷ But though He had done so many miracles before them, they did not believe into Him, ³⁸ so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, "Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?" Isa. 53:1 ³⁹ Because of this they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, ⁴⁰ "He has blinded their eyes" and "has hardened their heart," "that they might not see with the eyes" and "understand with the heart," "and be converted," "and I should heal them." Isa. 6:10

⁴⁵ And the one seeing Me sees the One who sent Me.

⁹ Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father?

²² Men, Israelites, hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man from God, having been approved among you by powerful deeds and wonders and miracles, which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know,

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

³⁰ slanderers, God-haters, insolent, proud, braggarts, devisers of evil things, disobedient to parents,

⁷ because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards God; for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither can it be . ⁸ And those being in the flesh are not able to please God.

⁴ betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

³ how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? Which having received a beginning to be spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by the ones hearing, ⁴ God bearing witness with them by both miracles and wonders, and by various works of power, even by distribution of the Holy Spirit, according to His will.

⁴ if I have repaid evil to my friend or I have plundered my vexer without cause,

¹⁹ Let not my lying enemies rejoice over me, do not let those who hate me without cause wink with the eye.

⁴ They who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they who would destroy me are mighty, my lying enemies; then I restored what I did not take by violence.

³ And they hemmed me in with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

⁸ Heal sick ones, cleanse lepers, raise dead ones, cast out demons. You have freely received, freely give.

⁴⁴ And He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you yet being with you, that must be fulfilled all the things having been written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning Me.

³⁴ Jesus answered them, Has it not been written in your Law, "I said, you are gods"? Psa. 82:6

³⁶ For these things happened that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "Not a bone of Him shall be broken." Ex. 12:46; Psa. 34:20

¹⁹ But we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those within the Law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God.

²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus,

⁷ Or did I commit sin, humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you without charge?

²¹ I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness is through law, then Christ died without cause.

⁸ nor did we eat bread from anyone as a gift, but by labor and toil, working night and day in order not to burden anyone of you.

⁶ And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending. To the one thirsting, I will freely give of the fountain of the water of life.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And the one hearing, let him say, Come! And the one thirsting, let him come; and the one desiring, let him take of the water of life freely.

⁴⁹ And, behold, I send forth the promise of My Father on you. But you sit in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.

⁴² Then Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I went forth and have come from God. For I have not come from Myself, but that One sent Me.

¹⁶ And I will petition the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may remain with you forever, ¹⁷ the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He abides with you and shall be in you.

²⁶ but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and shall remind you of all things that I said to you.

⁷ But I tell you the truth, it is advantageous for you that I should go; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you.

¹³ But when that One comes, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will announce the coming things to you. ¹⁴ That One will glorify Me, for He will receive from Mine and will announce to you. ¹⁵ All things which the Father has are Mine. For this reason I said that He receives from Mine, and will announce to you.

³² This Jesus God raised up, of which we all are witnesses. ³³ Then being exalted to the right of God, and receiving the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

³² And we are His witnesses of these things, and also the Holy Spirit, whom God gave to those obeying Him.

⁸ And the heart knowing God testified to them, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as also to us.

⁶ even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you,

⁴ God bearing witness with them by both miracles and wonders, and by various works of power, even by distribution of the Holy Spirit, according to His will.

⁶ This is the One coming through water and blood, Jesus Christ; not by the water only, but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the One witnessing, because the Spirit is the truth. ⁷ For there are three bearing witness in Heaven: the Father the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. ⁸ And there are three who bear witness on the earth: The Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three are to the one. ⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; because this is the witness of God which He has witnessed about His Son: ¹⁰ The one believing in the Son of God has the witness in himself. The one not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning His Son.

¹ And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, coming forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹ The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, ² as those from the beginning delivered to us, becoming eye-witnesses and ministers of the word, ³ it seemed good also to me, having traced out all things accurately from the first, to write in order to you, most excellent Theophilus,

⁴⁸ And you are witnesses of these things.

³⁵ And the one seeing has borne witness and his witness is true; and that one knows that he speaks truly, that you may believe.

²⁴ This is the disciple witnessing about these other things, writing these things, and we know that his witness is true.

²¹ Therefore, it is right that one of these men being together with us all the time in which the Lord Jesus came in and went out among us, ²² beginning from the baptism of John until the day when He was taken from us, one of these to become a witness of His resurrection with us.

¹⁵ And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

²⁰ For we are not able not to speak what we saw and heard.

³³ And with great power the apostles gave testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.

³⁹ And we are witnesses of all things which He did, both in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem. They did away with Him, hanging Him on a tree. ⁴⁰ God raised up this One the third day and gave to Him to become visible; ⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses, the ones having been before hand-picked by God, to us who ate and drank with Him after His rising again from the dead. ⁴² And He commanded us to proclaim to the people and to witness solemnly that it is He who has been marked out by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.

³¹ who appeared for many days to those coming up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are witnesses of Him to the people.

⁵ And when both Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was pressed by the Spirit, earnestly testifying to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

¹¹ And coming to him in the following night the Lord said, Be cheered, Paul, for as you fully testified the things concerning Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify at Rome.

¹ I, a fellow elder, exhort the elders among you, I being also witness of the sufferings of Christ, and being sharer of the glory about to be revealed:

¹² I wrote to you by a few words by way of Silvanus the faithful brother, as I reckon, exhorting and witnessing this to be the true grace of God, in which you stand.

¹ We announce to you what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we beheld, and what our hands touched, as regards the Word of Life. ² And the Life was revealed, and we have seen, and we bear witness, and we announce to you the everlasting Life which was with the Father, and was revealed to us.

¹⁴ And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

² who testified of the Word of God and the witness of Jesus Christ, even as many things as he saw.

⁹ I, even your brother John, and co-sharer in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, came to be in the island being called Patmos because of the Word of God, and because of the witness of Jesus Christ.
