¹⁹ And Jehovah looked and despised them because of the provocation of His sons and of His daughters.

¹¹ And I will set My tabernacle in your midst, and My soul shall not loathe you;

¹⁴ And the anger of Jehovah glowed against Israel, and He gave them into the hand of plunderers; and they plundered them. And He sold them into the hand of their enemies all around, and they were not able to stand before their enemies any longer.

⁴ For You are not a God enjoying wickedness; nor shall evil live with You.

³ For the wicked boasts of his soul's desire, and he has blessed the covetous; he has despised Jehovah.

⁵⁹ When God heard, He was angry, and He utterly rejected Israel.

⁶ I have said, You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High. ⁷ But you shall die as men, and fall like one of the rulers.

⁴⁰ And the anger of Jehovah burned against His people; and He detested His inheritance.

² Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth! For Jehovah has spoken: I have nursed and brought up sons, but they have rebelled against Me.

¹⁵ What is to My beloved in My house, since she has committed her many evils? And has the holy flesh caused your evil to pass from you? How then do you exult?

²¹ The incense that you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you, and your fathers, your kings, and your rulers, and the people of the land, did not Jehovah remember them? Yea, it came into His heart. ²² And Jehovah could no longer bear because of the evil of your doings, because of the detestable things you have committed. For this reason your land is a waste, and a horror, and a curse, without inhabitant, as this day. ²³ Because you have burned incense, and because you have sinned against Jehovah, and have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah, in His law, or in His statutes; and because you did not walk in His testimonies, therefore this evil has happened to you, as at this day.

⁶ And He violated his booth like a garden and destroyed his meeting-places. Jehovah made meeting-places and sabbaths forgotten in Zion, and He rejected king and priest in the fury of His anger.

² You only have I known of all the families of the earth. On account of this, I will punish you for all your iniquities. ³ Will two walk together unless they are agreed?

⁸ I also cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul despised them, and their soul also detested Me.

¹⁶ So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit you out of My mouth.
