For this reason the curse has poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him. 12 And He has confirmed His words which He spoke against us, and against our judges who judge us, by bringing on us a great evil. For under the whole heavens it has not been done as it has been done to Jerusalem.

Micah 7:18-20

18 Who is a God like You, forgiving iniquity and passing by the transgression of the remnant of His possession? And who can rise against the heat of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him. 7 Jehovah is good for a stronghold in the day of distress; and He knows those who trust in Him.
