¹⁰ And when he had learned that the document was signed, Daniel went to his house. And his windows were open in his roof room toward Jerusalem. He knelt on his knees three times in the day, and prayed and praised before his God, as he did before.

³⁰ And You shall listen to the supplication of Your servant, and of Your people Israel when they shall pray toward this place; yea, You shall listen in Your dwelling-place, in Heaven; and You shall hear and shall forgive.

³⁸ any prayer, any supplication that shall come from any man of all of Your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and shall spread his palms toward this house,

⁴⁴ If Your people shall go out to battle against its enemy, in the way that You have sent them, and they have prayed to Jehovah the way of the city which You have chosen, and of the house which I have built for Your name,

⁴⁸ and, they have turned back to You with all their heart, and with all the their soul, in the land of their enemies who have taken them captive, and have prayed to You the way of their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen, and the house which I have built for Your name, ⁴⁹ then You shall hear their prayer and their supplication in Heaven Your dwellingplace, and shall maintain their cause, ⁵⁰ and shall forgive Your people who have sinned against You, even all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You, and shall give them mercy before their captors, and they shall have mercy on them.

⁵⁴ And it happened as Solomon finished praying to Jehovah all this prayer and supplication, he arose from before the altar of Jehovah, from bending on his knees, and his palms spread out to Heaven;

¹³ Solomon had made a bronze scaffold, and put it in the middle of the court, five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high; and he stood on it, and knelt on his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread out his hands toward Heaven.

³⁸ yea, they shall turn back to You with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their captivity, where they have been taken captive, and they shall pray toward their land that You have given to their fathers, and toward the city that You have chosen and toward the house that I have built for Your name;

⁵ And at the evening offering I rose up from my fasting, and with my garment and my robe torn, I even fell on my knees and spread out my hands to Jehovah my God.

¹¹ And I said, Should such a man as I flee? And who being as I am would go into the temple and live? I will not go in.

⁷ But I, in the plenty of Your grace, I will come into Your house. I will worship in Your fear toward Your holy temple, O Jehovah.

¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. I sought refuge in Jehovah; how can you say to my soul, Flee like a bird to your hill. ² For behold! The wicked will tread the bow; they fixed their arrow on the string, in order to shoot with it at the upright of heart in the dark.

¹ A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; and he drove him away, and he went. I will bless Jehovah at all times; His praise shall always be in my mouth.

¹⁷ Evening and morning, and at noon, I will complain and cry aloud; and He shall hear my voice.

³ Be gracious to Me, O Lord, for I cry to You daily.

⁶ O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker.

¹³ Then they answered and said before the king, Daniel, who is of the exiled sons of Judah, has not set attention on you, O king, or the ban that you have signed, but he makes his prayer three times in the day.

⁴ And I said, I am cast off from Your eyes; yet I will again look to Your holy temple.

²⁸ And you should not fear the ones killing the body, but not being able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him being able to destroy both soul and body in Hell. ²⁹ Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? Yet not one of them shall fall to the ground without your Father. ³⁰ But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. ³¹ Then do not fear; you are better than many sparrows. ³² Then everyone who shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in Heaven. ³³ But whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father in Heaven.

⁴ But I say to you, My friends, stop being afraid of the ones killing the body, and after these things not having anything more they can do. ⁵ But I will warn you whom you should fear; fear the ones who after the killing have authority to cast into Hell; yea, I say to you, fear that One! ⁶ Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria? And not one of them has been forgotten before God. ⁷ But even the hairs of your head have all been numbered. Then stop being afraid; you differ from many sparrows. ⁸ But I say to you, everyone who may confess Me before men, the Son of man will also confess him before the angels of God. ⁹ But he that denies me before man shall be denied before the angels of God.

²⁶ If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers and sisters, and besides, even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.

⁴¹ And He was withdrawn from them, about a stone's throw. And placing the knees, He prayed,

¹ And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one mind in the same place. ² And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven, as being borne along by a violent wind! And it filled all the house where they were sitting.

¹⁵ For these are not drunk, as you imagine, for it is the third hour of the day.

¹ And Peter and John were going up on the same day into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth.

¹⁷ But that it may not be spread abroad further to the people, let us threaten them with a threat that they no longer speak on this name to any one of men. ¹⁸ And calling them, they ordered them not to speak at all, nor to teach on the name of Jesus. ¹⁹ But answering them Peter and John said, Whether it is right before God to listen to you rather than God, you judge.

²⁹ And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings and give to Your slaves to speak Your Word with all boldness,

²⁰ Go! And standing in the temple, speak to the people all the words of this Life.

²⁹ But answering Peter and the apostles said, It is right to obey God rather than man.

⁴⁰ And they obeyed him. And having called the apostles, beating them, they commanded not to speak on the name of Jesus, and let them go. ⁴¹ Then they indeed departed from the presence of the sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were deemed worthy to be dishonored on behalf of His name. ⁴² And every day they did not cease teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus the Christ in the temple, and house to house.

⁶⁰ And placing the knees, he cried out with a loud voice, Lord, do not make stand this sin to them. And saying this, he fell asleep.

⁴⁰ And putting all out, placing the knees Peter prayed. And turning to the body he said, Tabitha, Arise! And she opened her eyes. And seeing Peter she sat up.

⁹ And on the morrow, these passing along on the road, and drawing near to the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray about the sixth hour.

²⁴ But I make account of nothing, nor do I hold my life precious to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, fully to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

³⁶ And saying these things, placing his knees, he prayed with them all.

⁵ But when it was time for us to complete the days, going out, we traveled. And they, with all the women and children went with us as far as outside the city. And placing the knees on the shore, we prayed.

¹⁴ For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁴ And the most of the brothers in the Lord, being confident in my bonds, more exceedingly dare to speak the word fearlessly.

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but as always in all boldness even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.

⁶ Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and by petition with thanksgivings, let your requests be made known to God;

¹⁷ And everything, whatever you do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father through Him.

¹⁷ Pray without ceasing. ¹⁸ In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

¹⁶ Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and we may find grace for help in time of need.

¹⁵ Then through Him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God always, that is, the fruit of the lips, confessing to His name.

¹⁰ Do not at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil is about to throw you into prison, so that you may be tried; and you will have affliction ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

¹³ I know your works, and where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is . And you hold My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful witness; who was killed alongside you, where Satan dwells.
