2 Timothy 2:6 Cross References - LITV

6 It is right the laboring farmer to partake first of the fruits.

Isaiah 28:24-26

24 Does the plowman plow all day to sow? Does he open and break the clods of his ground? 25 When he has leveled its surface, does he not strew black cummin, and scatter cummin, and place wheat in rows, and barley in its place, and spelt in its border? 26 And He instructs him for the right; his God teaches him.

Matthew 9:37-38

37 Then He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is great, but the workers few. 38 Pray then that the Lord of the harvest may send out workers into His harvest.

Matthew 20:1

1 For the kingdom of Heaven is like a man, a housemaster, who went out when it was early to hire workers into his vineyard.

Matthew 21:33-41

33 Hear another parable: There was a certain man, a house master, who planted a vineyard and placed a hedge around it; and he dug a winepress in it, and built a tower. And he rented it to vinedressers and left the country. Isa. 5:1, 2 34 And when the season of the fruits came, he sent his slaves to the vinedressers to receive his fruits. 35 And the vinedressers, taking his slaves, they beat this one, and they killed one, and they stoned another. 36 Again he sent other slaves, more than the first. And they did the same to them. 37 And at last he sent his son to them, saying, They will have respect for my son. 38 But seeing the son, the vinedressers said among themselves, This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and get hold of his inheritance. 39 And taking him, they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him . 40 Therefore, when the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to these vinedressers? 41 They said to Him, Bad men! He will miserably destroy them, and he will rent out the vineyard to other vinedressers who will give to him the fruits in their seasons.

Luke 10:2

2 Therefore He said to them, Indeed the harvest is much, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest, that He send out workers into His harvest.

John 4:35-38

35 Do you do not say, It is yet four months and the harvest comes? Behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes and behold the fields, for they are already white to harvest. 36 And the one reaping receives reward, and gathers fruit to everlasting life, so that both the one sowing and the one reaping may rejoice together. 37 For in this the word is true, that another is the one sowing, and another the one reaping. 38 I sent you to reap what you have not labored over. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.

1 Corinthians 3:6-9

6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God made to grow. 7 So as neither he planting is anything, nor he watering, but God making to grow. 8 So he planting and he watering are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are fellow workers of God, a field of God, and you are a building of God.

1 Corinthians 9:7-11

7 Who serves as a soldier at his own wages at any time? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who shepherds a flock and does not eat of the milk of the flock? 8 Do I speak these things according to man, or does not the Law say these things also? 9 For it has been written in the Law of Moses, "You shall not muzzle an ox treading out grain." Deut. 25:4 Is it that it matters to God as to oxen? 10 Or does He say it altogether because of us? It is written because of us, so that the one plowing ought to plow in hope, and the one threshing in hope to partake of hope. 11 If we have sowed spiritual things to you, is it a great thing if we shall reap of your fleshly things?

1 Corinthians 9:23

23 And I do this for the gospel, that I might become a fellow partaker of it.

Hebrews 10:36

36 For you have need of patience, that having done the will of God you may obtain the promise.
