⁸ For the Word of the Lord sounded out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that there is no need for us to have to say anything.

⁹ And Jethro rejoiced regarding all the good which Jehovah had done to Israel whom He had delivered from the hand of Egypt.

³ And many people shall go and say, Come and let us go up to the mount of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach from His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion the law will go forth, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

⁷ How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him bringing good news, making peace heard, bringing good news, proclaiming salvation; saying to Zion, Your God reigns!

¹⁹ And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape from them to the nations of Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawers of the bow; to Tubal and Javan, to the far away coasts that have not heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they shall declare My glory among the nations.

⁸ First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of in all the world.

¹⁴ How then may they call on One in whom they have not believed? And how may they believe One of whom they have not heard? And how may they hear without preaching? ¹⁵ And how may they preach if they are not sent? Even as it has been written, "How beautiful" "the feet of those announcing the gospel of peace, of those announcing the gospel of good things." Isa. 52:7 ¹⁶ But not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" Isa. 53:1 ¹⁷ Then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God. ¹⁸ But I say, Did they not hear? Yes, rather, "into all the earth their voice went out, and to the ends of the world their words." LXX-Psa. 18:5; MT-Psa. 19:4

¹⁹ For your obedience reached to all; therefore, I rejoice over you. But I desire you to be truly wise as to good, but simple toward evil.

³⁶ Or did the Word of God go out from you? Or did it reach only to you?

⁴ And we have such confidence through Christ toward God;

⁴ so as for us to boast ourselves in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions, and the afflictions which you endure,

¹ For the rest, brothers, pray concerning us, that the Word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as also it has with you,

¹² Witness has been borne to Demetrius by all, and by the truth itself. And we also bear witness, and you know that our witness is true.

⁶ And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having an everlasting gospel to proclaim to those dwelling on the earth, even to every nation and tribe and tongue and people,

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And the one hearing, let him say, Come! And the one thirsting, let him come; and the one desiring, let him take of the water of life freely.
