¹⁹ And all the people said to Samuel, Pray to Jehovah your God for your servants, and not we will die, for we have added this evil to all our sins to ask a king for ourselves.

⁷ And now return the wife of the man, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you, and you shall live. And if you do not return her, know that you shall surely die, you and all that are yours.

²⁸ Pray to Jehovah and let it be enough of the thunders and hail of God. And I will send you away and you shall not continue any longer.

¹⁶ Jehovah, they visited You in distress; they poured out a whisper; Your chastening was to them.

¹ Then Jehovah said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My soul could not be toward this people. Send them out from before My face; yea, let them go out.

⁹ And now entreat the face of God, that He favor us. This has been by your hands; will He lift up your faces? says Jehovah of hosts.

²⁴ And answering Simon said, You petition to the Lord for me, so that nothing of which you have spoken may come on me.

¹⁵ And the prayer of faith will cure those being sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he may have committed sin, it will be forgiven him. ¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask; and He shall give life to him, to the ones not sinning unto death. There is a sin unto death. I do not say that he should ask about that.
