⁶ in which you exult; yet a little while, if need be, grieving in manifold trials,

¹ And Hannah prayed and said: My heart has exulted in Jehovah; my horn has been high in Jehovah. My mouth has been large over my enemies; for I have rejoiced in Your salvation.

²⁷ If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will loosen my face and be cheerful, ²⁸ I am afraid of all my sorrows; I know that You will not hold me innocent;

¹⁴ So that I may declare all Your praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion; I will rejoice in Your salvation.

¹⁹ Many are the evils of the righteous, but Jehovah helps him out of them all,

¹⁰ All my bones shall say: O Jehovah, who is like You, who delivers the poor from those stronger than he; yes, the poor and needy from his plunderer?

²⁰ Reproach has broken my heart, and I am faint; and I waited for one to show pity, but there was no one; and for comforters, but I found none.

¹ O come, let us sing to Jehovah; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation.

²⁸ My soul drops with grief; Lift me up according to Your word.

⁷⁵ I know, O Jehovah, Your judgments are right; and in fidelity You afflicted me.

² Behold, God is my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, for my strength and song is Jah Jehovah; yea, He has become my salvation. ³ And you shall draw waters out of the wells of salvation with joy.

³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, in order to beautify Himself.

¹⁰ I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah. My soul shall be joyful in my God. For He clothed me with garments of salvation; He put on me the robe of righteousness, even as a bridegroom puts on his ornament, and as the bride is adorned with her jewels.

³² For though He causes grief, He will have pity according to His many kindnesses. ³³ For He does not afflict from His heart, nor does He grieve the sons of man,

¹² Rejoice and leap for joy, for your reward is great in Heaven; for in this way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

²⁸ Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest.

³⁷ And taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to grieve and to be deeply troubled.

⁴⁷ and my spirit exulted in God My Savior.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, Do not fear. For, behold, I announce good news to you, a great joy, which will be to all people,

²⁰ But stop rejoicing in this, that the evil spirits submit to you. But rather rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.

²² And you, then, truly have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one takes your joy from you.

³³ I have spoken these things to you that you may have peace in Me. You have distress in the world; but be encouraged, I have overcome the world.

²² confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into the kingdom of God.

² through whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we glory on the hope of the glory of God.

¹¹ and not only so, but also glorying in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received the reconciliation.

² that my grief is great, and a never ceasing pain is in my heart,

¹² in hope, rejoicing; in affliction, enduring; in prayer, steadfastly continuing;

⁹ For I think that God set us out last, the apostles, as appointed to death, because we became a spectacle to the world, even to angels and to men. ¹⁰ We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we not honored. ¹¹ Until the present hour we also hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and wander homeless, ¹² and labor, working with our own hands. Being cursed, we bless; persecuted, we bear; ¹³ defamed, we entreat. we have become as filth of the world, dirt wiped off by all until now.

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not from us; ⁸ in every way being troubled, but not having been hemmed in; having been perplexed, but not utterly at a loss; ⁹ being persecuted, but not having been forsaken; being thrown down, but not having been destroyed; ¹⁰ always bearing about the dying of the Lord Jesus in the body, that also the life of Jesus may be revealed in our body. ¹¹ For we who live are always being delivered up to death on account of Jesus, that also the life of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh;

¹⁷ For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us an eternal weight of glory, surpassing moment by surpassing moment;

¹⁰ as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.

²³ Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself.) I being beyond them : in labors, more abundantly; in stripes, beyond measure; in prisons, much more; in deaths, many times. ²⁴ Five times I received forty stripes minus one from the Jews. ²⁵ I was flogged three times; I was stoned once; I was shipwrecked three times; I have spent a night and a day in the deep. ²⁶ I have been in travels often, in dangers of rivers, in dangers of robbers, in dangers from my race, in dangers from the nations, in dangers in the city, in dangers in the desert, in dangers on the sea, in dangers among false brothers, ²⁷ in hardship and toil, often in watchings, in hunger and thirst, often in fastings, in cold and nakedness,

⁹ And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me. ¹⁰ Because of this, I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in dire needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for the sake of Christ. For when I may be weak, then I am powerful.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

²⁶ since he was longing for you all and has been troubled because you heard that he was sick.

³ For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, and who glory in Christ Jesus, and who do not trust in flesh.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, Rejoice!

⁶ And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, welcoming the Word in much affliction with joy of the Holy Spirit.

³⁵ Women received their dead by resurrection; but others were beaten to death, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. ³⁶ And others received trial of mockings and of floggings; yea, more, of bonds and of prison: ³⁷ they were stoned; they were tried; they were sawn in two; they died by murder of sword; they went about in sheepskins and in goatskins, being in need, being afflicted, being ill-treated; ³⁸ of whom the world was not worthy, wandering in deserts, and mountains, and caves, and the holes of the earth.

⁷ If you endure discipline, God is dealing with you as with sons; for who is the son whom a father does not discipline? ⁸ But if you are without discipline, of which all have become sharers, then you are bastards, and not sons. ⁹ Furthermore, indeed we have had fathers of our flesh as correctors, and we respected them . Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits, and we shall live? ¹⁰ For they truly disciplined us for a few days according to the thing seeming good to them; but He for our profit, in order for us to partake of His holiness. ¹¹ And all discipline for the present indeed does not seem to be joyous, but grievous; but afterward it gives back peaceable fruit of righteousness to the ones having been exercised by it.

² My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

⁹ But let the lowly brother rejoice in his lifting up;

⁹ Be distressed, and mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy into shame.

⁷ so that the proving of your faith, much more precious than perishing gold, but having been proved through fire, may be found to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ; ⁸ whom having not seen, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with unspeakable and having been glorified,

⁷ But the end of all things has drawn near. Be of sound mind, then, and be sensible to prayers;

¹² Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial happening among you for your testing, as if a surprise were occurring to you; ¹³ but according as you share the sufferings of Christ, rejoice; so that you may rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His glory.

¹⁰ Now the God of all grace, the One calling you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, you having suffered a little, He Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, establish you .
