I sought him, but I did not find him. ³ The sentinels who go about in the city found me. "Have you seen the one whom my _⌊heart_⌋* loves?" ⁴ _⌊Scarcely had I passed_⌋* by them when I found him whom my _⌊heart_⌋* loves. I held him and I would not let him go until I brought him to the house of my mother, into the bedroom chamber of she who conceived me. ⁵ I adjure you, _⌊O maidens of Jerusalem_⌋,* by the gazelles or by the does of the field, do not arouse or awaken love until it pleases!* ⁶ What is this coming up from the desert like a column of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense from all the fragrant powders of the merchant? ⁷ Look! It is Solomon's _⌊portable couch_⌋!* Sixty mighty men surround _⌊it_⌋,* the mighty men of Israel. ⁸ All of them _⌊wield swords_⌋;* they are _⌊trained in warfare_⌋,* each with his sword at his thigh to guard _⌊against terror_⌋* in the night. ⁹ _⌊King Solomon_⌋* made for himself a sedan chair from the wood of Lebanon. ¹⁰ He made its column of silver, its back* of gold, its seat of purple; its interior is inlaid with leather* by _⌊the maidens of Jerusalem_⌋.* ¹¹ Come out and look, _⌊O maidens of Zion_⌋,* at _⌊King Solomon_⌋,* at the crown with which his mother crowned him on the day of his wedding, on the day of the joy of his heart!

⁸ "When I go forward, _⌊he is not there_⌋,* or* backward, I cannot see him.* ⁹ _⌊When he works_⌋* on the left, _⌊I cannot perceive_⌋* him; he turns to the right, but* I cannot see him.

⁴ Be disturbed but do not sin. Commune in your heart* on your bed and be silent. Selah

⁶ I am weary with my groaning; _⌊I flood_⌋* my bed every night. With my tears _⌊I drench_⌋* my couch.

² O my God, I call by day and you do not answer, and by night but I have no rest.*

⁶ When I remember you on my bed, I meditate on you in the night watches. ⁷ Because you have been my help, therefore* in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy. ⁸ My soul clings to* you; your right hand upholds me.

² In the day I have trouble, I seek* the Lord. At night my hand stretches out _⌊continually_⌋;* my soul refuses to be comforted. ³ I remember God and I groan loudly; I meditate and my spirit grows faint. ⁴ You hold open my eyelids. I am troubled and cannot speak.

¹ A song of ascents.*
Out of the depths I call to you, O Yahweh. ² "O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

⁷ Tell me, you whom my _⌊heart_⌋* loves, where do you pasture your flock, where do your sheep lie down at the noon? _⌊For why should I be like_⌋* one who is veiled* beside the flocks of your companions?

⁶ I opened myself to my beloved, but my beloved had turned and gone;* my heart sank* when he turned away.* I sought him, but I did not find him; I called him, but he did not answer me.

⁸ I adjure you, _⌊O maidens of Jerusalem_⌋,* if you find my beloved, what will you tell him? Tell him that I am _⌊lovesick_⌋!*

⁹ I desire you with all my soul in the night; also I seek you with my spirit within me, for when your judgments are _⌊upon_⌋* the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

⁶ Seek Yahweh _⌊while he lets himself be found_⌋;* call him _⌊while he is_⌋* near.

²⁴ "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able to,

¹⁷ He said to him a third time, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed because he said to him a third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything! You know that I love you!" Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep!

⁸ whom, although you* have not seen, you love; in whom now you believe, although you* do not see him, and you rejoice greatly with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

My God, my God why have you forsaken me? Why are you far from helping me, far from the words of my groaning? ² O my God, I call by day and you do not answer, and by night but I have no rest.*

⁷ Deep is calling to deep at* the thunder of your waterfalls. All your breakers and your waves have passed over me. ⁸ By day Yahweh commands his loyal love, and in the night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life. ⁹ I say to God, my rock, "Why have you forgotten me? Why must I walk about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?"

² because you are the God of my refuge. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? ³ Send your light and your truth; they shall lead* me. They shall bring me to _⌊your holy mountain_⌋* and to your dwelling places. ⁴ Then* I will go to the altar of God, to God, _⌊my surpassing joy_⌋,* and I will praise you with lyre, O God, my God. ⁵ Why are you _⌊in despair_⌋,* O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, because I will again praise him, _⌊my salvation_⌋* and my God.

⁷ Will the Lord reject us forever, and will he never be pleased with us again? ⁸ Has his loyal love ceased forever? Is his promise* ended throughout generations? ⁹ Has God forgotten to have compassion? Or has he closed off his mercies in anger? Selah ¹⁰ So I said, "This pierces me—* the right hand of the Most High has changed."

²⁰ Wisdom calls out in the streets, in the squares she raises her voice. ²¹ On a _⌊busy corner_⌋* she cries out, at the entrances of the gates in the city, she speaks her sayings:

² _⌊Atop the heights_⌋* beside the road, at the crossroads she stands. ³ Beside gates, before towns, at the entrance of doors, she cries out:

³⁴ Happy is the person who listens to me, in order to keep watch at my doors day by day, in order to guard the frames of my entrances.

⁵ I myself arose to open to my beloved; my hands dripped with myrrh, my fingers with liquid myrrh upon the handles of the bolt.

⁷ And there is no one who calls on your name, who pulls himself up to keep hold of you, for you have hidden your face from us,* and melted us into the hand of our iniquity.

¹ "Roam about through the streets of Jerusalem, and look please, and take note, and search at its public squares, if you can find a person who does justice, who seeks honesty, so that I may forgive it.

⁴⁰ And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, "So, were you not able to stay awake with me one hour? ⁴¹ Stay awake and pray that you will not enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak!"

²¹ And the slave came and* reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house became angry and* said to his slave, 'Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the city and bring in here the poor and crippled and blind and lame!' ²² And the slave said, 'Sir, what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.' ²³ And the master said to the slave, 'Go out into the highways and hedges and press them* to come in, so that my house will be filled!

⁶ A man came, sent from God, _⌊whose name was_⌋* John.

¹¹ And do this because you* know the time, that it is already the hour for you to wake up from sleep. For our salvation is nearer now than when we believed.

³⁴ Sober up correctly and _⌊stop sinning_⌋*, for some have no knowledge of God—I say this to your shame.

¹⁴ for everything made visible is light. Therefore it says,
Wake up, sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.*

⁷ The sentinels making rounds in the city found me; they beat me, they wounded me; they took my cloak* away from me— _⌊those sentinels on the walls_⌋!*

⁶ For the Lord said this to me:
"Go, set a watchman in position. He must announce what he sees. ⁷ When* he sees riders,* a pair of horsemen, riders* of donkeys,* riders* of camels,* _⌊then_⌋* he must listen attentively, paying attention, paying _⌊special_⌋* attention." ⁸ Then* the _⌊watchman_⌋* called,
"Lord, I am standing on the watchtower continually by day, and I am standing at my post _⌊throughout_⌋* the night.

¹¹ The oracle of Dumah:
One is calling to me from Seir,
"Watchman, what _⌊of_⌋* the night? Watchman, what _⌊of_⌋* the night?" ¹² The watchman says,
"Morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; _⌊come back again_⌋."*

¹⁰ His watchmen are blind, none of them know. They are all dumb dogs; they are unable to bark, panting, lying down, loving to slumber.

⁶ I have appointed watchmen upon your walls, Jerusalem; all day and all night they shall never be silent. You who profess Yahweh have no rest.

¹⁷ "Son of man,* I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, then you must warn them from me.

² "Son of man,* speak to _⌊your people_⌋,* and you must say to them, 'A land, if I bring over it a sword and the people of the land take a man, one from their number, and they appoint him for them as a watchman, ³ and he sees the sword coming against the land, and he blows on the horn and he warns the people, ⁴ and _⌊anyone who listens_⌋* hears the sound of the horn and _⌊he does not take warning_⌋* and the sword comes and it takes him, his blood will be on his own head. ⁵ For he heard the sound of the horn and he did not take warning; his blood will be on him. But if he took warning, he saved his life. ⁶ And as for the watchman, if he sees the sword coming and _⌊he does not blow_⌋* the horn, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and it takes _⌊their lives_⌋,* he will be taken through his guilt, but his blood from the hand of the watchman I will seek.' ⁷ "And you, son of man,* I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; if you hear a word from my mouth, then you must warn them from me. ⁸ _⌊When I say_⌋* to the wicked, 'Wicked one, you will certainly die,' and you _⌊did not speak_⌋* to warn the wicked from his way, he, the wicked, will die by his guilt, but his blood I will seek from your hand. ⁹ But, you, if you warn the wicked from his way, to turn from it, and _⌊he does not turn_⌋* from his way, he will die by his guilt, and you will have saved your life.

¹⁵ Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?" She thought that it was the gardener, and* said to him, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him."

¹⁷ Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with groaning, for this would be unprofitable for you.

²⁶ Then he* said, "Let me go, for dawn is breaking." But he answered, "I will not let you go unless you bless me."

¹³ Seize the instruction! Do not let go! Guard her, for she is your life.

¹⁷ I love _⌊those who love me_⌋,* and those who seek me diligently shall find me.

¹² I did not know my _⌊heart_⌋* set me in a chariot of my princely people.*

⁵ _⌊Your head crowns you like Carmel_⌋;** the flowing locks of your head are like _⌊purple tapestry_⌋;* a king is held captive in the tresses!

² _⌊I would surely bring you_⌋** to the house of my mother, _⌊who would surely teach me_⌋;* _⌊I would give you spiced wine to drink_⌋,* the _⌊sweet wine_⌋* of my pomegranates.*

¹⁹ I have spoken not in secrecy, in a place, a land, of darkness, I have not said to the descendants of Jacob, 'Seek me _⌊in vain_⌋!'* I, Yahweh, am speaking righteousness, declaring uprightness.

¹⁴ But* Zion said, "Yahweh has forsaken me, and the Lord has forgotten me!" ¹⁵ Can a woman forget her suckling, refrain from having compassion on the child of her womb? Indeed, these may forget, but* I, I will not forget you! ¹⁶ Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. ¹⁷ Your children hasten; your destroyers and those who laid you waste depart* from you. ¹⁸ Lift your eyes up all around and see; all of them gather; they come to you. _⌊As surely as I live_⌋,* _⌊declares_⌋* Yahweh, surely you shall put on all of them like an ornament, and you shall bind them on like a bride.

¹ "Sing for joy, barren woman; who has not borne! Burst forth into rejoicing and rejoice, she who has not been in labor! For the children of the desolate woman are more than the children of the married woman," says Yahweh. ² "Enlarge the site of your tent, and let them stretch out the tent curtains of your dwelling place. You must not spare; make your tent cords long and strengthen your pegs, ³ for you will spread out to the right and to the left. And your descendants* will be heir to the nations, and they will inhabit desolate towns.

⁶ Seek Yahweh _⌊while he lets himself be found_⌋;* call him _⌊while he is_⌋* near. ⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the man of sin his thoughts. And let him return to Yahweh, that* he may take pity on him, and to our God, for he will _⌊forgive manifold_⌋.*

¹³ When you search for me, then you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart.

²⁵ Yahweh is good to those who wait on him, to the person that seeks him.

³ In the womb he deceived his brother, and in his manhood he struggled with God. ⁴ He struggled with the angel and prevailed; he pleaded for his mercy. He met him at Bethel, and there he spoke with him.*

⁷ "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened for you.

⁹ And behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Greetings!" And they came up and* took hold of his feet and worshiped him.

¹⁶ Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned around and* said to him in Aramaic, "Rabboni" (which means "Teacher"). ¹⁷ Jesus said to her, "Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.'"

²⁶ But the Jerusalem above is free, which is our mother.

¹¹ I am coming quickly! Hold fast to what you have, so that no one may take away your crown. ¹² The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go outside again, and I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God, and my new name.

⁷ I adjure you, _⌊O maidens of Jerusalem_⌋,* by the gazelles or by the does of the field, do not arouse or awaken love until it pleases!*

⁸ And you, O Migdal-Eder,* hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come, and the former dominion will come, the reign of the daughter of Jerusalem.

²¹ And Yahweh was going before them by day in a column of cloud to lead them on the way and by night in a column of fire to give light to them to go by day and night. ²² The column of cloud by day and the column of fire by night did not depart from before the people.

³⁴ And Yahweh said to Moses, "Take for yourself fragrant perfumes—stacte resin and onycha and galbanum—fragrant perfumes and pure frankincense, _⌊an equal part of each_⌋,*

² And you shall remember all of the way that Yahweh your God led you during these forty years in the desert in order to humble you and to test you to know what is in your heart, whether you would diligently keep his commandments or not.

³ As fragrance, _⌊your perfumes_⌋* are _⌊delightful_⌋;* your name is poured out _⌊perfume_⌋;* therefore young women love you.

¹³ My beloved is to me _⌊a pouch_⌋* of myrrh, he spends the night* between my breasts.

⁶ Until the day breathes and the shadows flee, I will go to the mountain of the myrrh, to the hill of the frankincense.

¹² A garden locked is my sister bride, a spring enclosed,* a fountain sealed. ¹³ Your shoots* are an orchard of pomegranates with _⌊choice fruit_⌋,* henna with nard; ¹⁴ nard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon spice with all trees of frankincense, myrrh and aloes with all chief spices.

¹³ His cheeks are like beds of spice, a tower of fragrances; his lips are lilies dripping liquid myrrh.

⁵ Who is this coming up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? Under the apple tree I awakened you; there your mother _⌊conceived you_⌋;* there she who was in labor gave birth to you.

¹⁹ Look! I am about to do a new thing! Now it sprouts! Do you not perceive* it? Indeed, I will _⌊make_⌋* a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.

² "Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, _⌊saying_⌋,* 'Thus says Yahweh,
"I remember concerning you the loyal love of your childhood,* the love of your betrothal-time, your going* after me in the desert,* in the land not sown.

² Thus says Yahweh:
"The people of the survivors of the sword found grace in the desert;* Israel going to find their rest."

²⁹ And also on the male slaves and on the female slaves, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. ³⁰ And I will _⌊set_⌋* wonders in the heavens, and on earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. ³¹ The sun will be changed to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of Yahweh.

¹¹ And when they* came into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and* worshiped him. And opening their treasure boxes, they offered him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.

¹⁸ And even on my male slaves and on my female slaves I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. ¹⁹ And I will cause wonders in the heaven* above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. ²⁰ The sun will be changed to darkness and the moon to blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes. ²¹ And it will be that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.'*

¹⁴ But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ, and who reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of him through us in every place. ¹⁵ For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, ¹⁶ to those on the one hand an odor from death to death, and to those on the other hand a fragrance from life to life. And who is qualified for these things?

¹⁸ But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; _⌊I am well supplied_⌋* because* I received from Epaphroditus _⌊what you had sent_⌋*, a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

¹ Therefore, if you have been raised together with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ² Set your mind on the things above, not on the things on earth.

⁸ And when he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one of whom had a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

⁶ And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared there by God, so that they could feed her there for one thousand two hundred sixty days.

¹⁴ And the two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman, in order that she could fly into the wilderness, to her place where she is fed there for a time, and times, and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

¹⁶ He will take your male slaves and your female slaves and the best of your young men* and your donkeys and _⌊will use them for his projects_⌋.*

⁵² Warfare was severe against the Philistines all the days of Saul. Whenever Saul saw _⌊anyone who was a mighty warrior_⌋* or _⌊any brave man_⌋,* he _⌊conscripted him into his service_⌋.*

² David said to Achish, "Very well, you will know what your servant can do." Achish said to David, "Very well, I will make you _⌊my bodyguard_⌋* for life."

²² But from the _⌊Israelites_⌋* Solomon did not make a slave, but they were the men of war, his officers, his commanders, his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and his cavalry.

²⁷ so King Rehoboam made small copper shields in place of them and _⌊entrusted them_⌋* to the commanders of the royal guard who keep the doorway of the king's house.

¹⁷ Then Elisha prayed and said, "O Yahweh, please open his eyes that he may see," and Yahweh opened the eyes of the servant, and he saw, and look, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

¹⁶ Look! You are beautiful, my beloved, truly pleasant. Truly our couch is _⌊verdant_⌋;*

¹⁴ Are they not all spirits engaged in special service, sent on assignment for the sake of those who are going to inherit salvation?

²¹ So we labored at the work, and half of them were holding the spears from dawn until the stars came out. ²² At the time I also said to the people, "Let each man and his servant spend the night inside Jerusalem, so that they will be a guard for us in the night and work in the day."

³ Gird your sword on your thigh, O mighty one, in your splendor and your majesty.

⁵ You need not fear the terror of the night, or the arrow that flies by day,

⁵ Let the faithful exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. ⁶ Let the extolling of God be in their throat, and a double-edged sword in their hand, ⁷ to execute vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,* ⁸ to bind their kings with chains and their _⌊nobles_⌋* with fetters of iron, ⁹ to execute on them the judgment that is decreed.* This will be honor for all his faithful ones; Praise Yah.*

³ I, Yahweh, am her keeper; I water it _⌊again and again_⌋.* Lest one afflict harm on it, I guard it night and day;

¹⁶ in everything taking up the shield of faith, with which you are able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one, ¹⁷ and receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, ¹⁸ with all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit, and to this end being alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,

⁶ So then, we must not sleep like the rest, but must be on the alert and be self-controlled. ⁷ For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. ⁸ But because* we are of the day, we must be sober, by* putting on the breastplate of faith and love and as a helmet the hope of salvation,

⁵ Yet not so is my house with God, for he made an everlasting covenant for me, arranging everything. He has secured all my deliverance, and all my desire he will cause to happen.

⁷ Look! It is Solomon's _⌊portable couch_⌋!* Sixty mighty men surround _⌊it_⌋,* the mighty men of Israel.

⁶ And I saw another angel flying _⌊directly overhead_⌋*, having an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who reside on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and language and people,

³ Glorious things are spoken about* you, O city of God. Selah

⁵ I am black but beautiful,* _⌊O maidens of Jerusalem_⌋,* like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.

⁸ but God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while* we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

¹⁸ in order that you may be strong enough to grasp together with all the saints what is the breadth, and length, and height, and depth, ¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, in order that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

¹⁵ But if I am delayed, I am writing* in order that you may know how one must conduct oneself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and mainstay* of the truth. ¹⁶ And most certainly, great is the mystery of godliness:
Who was revealed in the flesh, was vindicated by* the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the Gentiles*, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To the one who loves us and released us from our sins by his blood

¹² The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go outside again, and I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God, and my new name.

¹⁴ so that I may tell of all your praises. In the gates of the daughter of Zion let me rejoice in your salvation.

¹¹ Let _⌊Mount Zion_⌋* rejoice; let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments.

¹¹ Come, my beloved, let us _⌊go out to the countryside_⌋;* let us spend the night* in the villages.

¹⁶ And Yahweh said: "Because* the daughters of Zion are haughty, and they walk with outstretched neck, and they give flirting glances with their eyes, _⌊mincing along as they go_⌋,* and _⌊with their feet they rattle their bangles_⌋,* ¹⁷ the Lord will make the heads* of the daughters of Zion scabby, and Yahweh will lay their foreheads bare."

⁴ when the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the blood of Jerusalem from her midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning.

⁶ For a child has been born for us; a son has been given to us. And the dominion will be on his shoulder, and his name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

¹¹ From the trouble of his life* he will see;* he will be satisfied. In his knowledge, the righteous one, my servant, shall declare many righteous,* and he is the one who will bear their iniquities.

⁵ For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you, and as is the joy of the bridegroom over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

⁴¹ And I will rejoice over them to do good to them, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness with all my heart, and with all my inner self."*

¹⁹ And I will take you as my wife forever; I will take you as a wife for myself in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. ²⁰ _⌊I will take you as my wife_⌋* in faithfulness, and you will know Yahweh.

¹⁷ Yahweh your God is in your midst; a mighty warrior who saves. He shall rejoice over you with joy; he renews* you in his love; he will exult over you with singing.

⁴² The queen of the south will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something* greater than Solomon is here!

⁶ And when he* returns to his* home, he calls together his* friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, because I have found my sheep that was lost!' ⁷ I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.

²³ And bring the fattened calf—kill it* and let us eat and* celebrate, ²⁴ because this son of mine was dead, and is alive again! He was lost and is found!' And they began to celebrate.

³² But it was necessary to celebrate and to rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead, and is alive, and was lost, and is found!'"

²⁹ The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices _⌊greatly_⌋* because of the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine is complete.

¹¹ I have spoken these things to you in order that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be made complete.

⁹ Therefore also God exalted him and graciously granted him the name above every name, ¹⁰ so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth and of those under the earth, ¹¹ and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹⁸ and he himself is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he himself may become first in everything,

⁹ but we see Jesus, for a short time made lower than the angels, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that apart from God* he might taste death on behalf of everyone.

¹³ So we must go out to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.

⁷ Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even every one who pierced him, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over him.
Yes, amen.

⁹ And they were singing a new song, saying,
"You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and bought people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation, ¹⁰ and made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth."

⁷ Let us rejoice and be glad and give him the glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself.

¹² Now his eyes were a flame of fire, and on his head were many royal headbands having a name written that no one except he himself knows.

⁹ And he said to me, "_⌊Do not do that!_⌋* I am your fellow slave, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!" ¹⁰ And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near!
