²⁸ _⌊for the Lord will execute his sentence thoroughly and decisively_⌋* upon the earth."*

⁸ And he will judge the world with righteousness. He will judge the peoples with equity.

⁵ By awesome deeds in righteousness you will answer us, O God of our salvation, you who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth and of the far-off seas,

¹⁶ But Yahweh of hosts is exalted by justice, and the holy God shows himself holy by righteousness.

²³ For the Lord Yahweh of hosts is about to make a complete destruction and a determined end in the midst of all the earth.

²² And now you must not scoff, or your bonds will be strong,
for I have heard from the Lord, Yahweh of hosts:
complete destruction decreed upon all the land.

¹² Therefore the holy one of Israel says this:
"Because you are rejecting this word and you trust in oppression and _⌊cunning_⌋* and you rely on it, ¹³ therefore this iniquity shall come for you like a breach about to fall, bulging out on a high wall _⌊that breaks_⌋* suddenly, in an instant. ¹⁴ And he breaks it like a vessel of _⌊a potter_⌋* breaks, that is crushed; he has no compassion, and no potsherd is found among its fragments* _⌊to take fire_⌋* from the hearth, or _⌊to skim_⌋* water from the cistern."

²⁶ "And after the sixty and two weeks an anointed one* shall be cut off, and _⌊he shall have nothing_⌋,* and the people of the coming leader will destroy the city and the sanctuary,* and its end will be with the flood and on to the end there shall be war; these desolations are determined. ²⁷ And he will make a strong covenant with the many for one week, but in half of the week he will let cease sacrifice and offering _⌊and in its place_⌋* a desolating abomination comes even until _⌊the determined complete destruction_⌋* is poured out on the desolator."

²¹ For at that time there will be great tribulation, such as has not happened from the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will happen.

³¹ because he has set a day on which he is going to judge the world in righteousness by the man who he has appointed, having provided proof to everyone by* raising him from the dead."

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and the one seated on it was called "Faithful" and "True," and with justice* he judges and makes war.
