¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea did not exist any longer. ² And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
"Behold, the dwelling of God is with humanity, and he will take up residence with them, and they will be his people and God himself will be with them.* ⁴ And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any longer, and* mourning or wailing or pain will not exist any longer. The former things* have passed away." ⁵ And the one seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new!" And he said, "Write, because these words are faithful and true." ⁶ And he said to me, "It is done! I am* the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water from the spring of the water of life freely.* ⁷ The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be _⌊his God_⌋* and he will be _⌊my son_⌋*. ⁸ But as for the cowards and unbelievers and detestable persons and murderers and sexually immoral people and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their share is in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death. ⁹ And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." ¹⁰ And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and lofty mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, ¹¹ that has the glory of God. Its radiance is like a precious stone, something like a jasper stone, shining like crystal. ¹² It has* a great and high wall that has twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on the gates which are* of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel— ¹³ on the east, three gates, and on the north, three gates, and on the south, three gates, and on the west, three gates. ¹⁴ And the wall of the city has twelve foundations, and on them are twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. ¹⁵ And the one who spoke with me was holding a golden measuring rod in order that he could measure the city and its gates and its wall. ¹⁶ And the city is laid out as a square, and its length is the same as its width. And he measured the city with the measuring rod at twelve thousand stadia;* the length and the width and the height of it are equal. ¹⁷ And he measured its wall, one hundred forty-four cubits* _⌊according to human measure_⌋*, which is the angel's. ¹⁸ And the material of its wall is jasper, and the city is pure gold, similar in appearance to pure glass. ¹⁹ The foundations of the wall of the city are adorned with every kind of precious stone: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, ²⁰ the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. ²¹ And the twelve gates are twelve pearls, each one of the gates was from a single pearl. And the street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass. ²² And I did not see a temple in it, for the Lord God All-Powerful is its temple, and the Lamb. ²³ And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon, that they shine on it, for the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb. ²⁴ And the nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. ²⁵ And its gates will never be shut by day (for there will be no night there), ²⁶ and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. ²⁷ And every unclean thing and one who practices* detestable things and falsehood will never enter into it, except those who are written in the book of life of the Lamb.

¹ On that day, Yahweh will punish with his cruel, great and strong sword Leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and Leviathan, the twisting serpent, and he will kill the sea monster that is in the sea.

²⁰ But* the wicked are like the churning sea, that is not able to keep quiet, and its waters toss up mire and mud.

¹⁷ For look! I am about to create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered, and they shall not _⌊come to mind_⌋.* ¹⁸ But rejoice and shout in exultation forever and ever over what I am about to create! For look! I am about to create Jerusalem as a source of rejoicing, and her people as a source of joy. ¹⁹ And I will shout in exultation over Jerusalem, and I will rejoice over my people, and the sound of weeping shall no longer be heard in it, or* the sound of a cry for help.

²² "For just as the new heavens and earth that I am about to make shall stand before me," _⌊declares_⌋* Yahweh, "so shall your descendants* and your name stand.

³ And four great beasts were coming up from the sea, differing _⌊from one another_⌋.*

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will disappear with a rushing noise, and the celestial bodies will be destroyed by* being burned up, and the earth and the deeds done on it will be disclosed.

¹³ But according to his promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness resides.

¹ And I saw coming up out of the sea a beast that had ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns ten royal headbands,* and on its heads a blasphemous name.*

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne and the one who was seated on it, _⌊from whose presence_⌋* earth and heaven fled, and a place was not found for them.

⁵ And the one seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new!" And he said, "Write, because these words are faithful and true."

⁹ Kings' daughters are among your noble ladies. The queen stands at your right hand in gold of Ophir. ¹⁰ Hear, O daughter, and _⌊discern_⌋* and incline your ear, and forget your people and your father's house. ¹¹ Let the king desire your beauty.* Because he is your lord, therefore* bow down to him. ¹² Even the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift. The rich from among people will seek your _⌊favor_⌋.* ¹³ The king's daughter is all glorious within;* her garment is of gold embroidered cloth. ¹⁴ She is brought to the king in colorful garments. The young women behind her, her attendants, are being brought to you.

¹ A song. A psalm of the sons of Korah.*
Yahweh is great and very worthy of praise in the city of our God, in his _⌊holy mountain_⌋.* ² Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is _⌊Mount Zion_⌋,* _⌊in the far north_⌋,* the city of the great king. ³ God is in her citadels; he is known as a high stronghold.

³ Glorious things are spoken about* you, O city of God. Selah

²¹ How has a faithful city become like a whore? Full of justice, righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.

¹ Awake! Awake; put on your strength, Zion! Put on the garments of your beauty, Jerusalem, _⌊holy city_⌋!* For the uncircumcised and the unclean shall not _⌊continue to_⌋* enter you any longer.

⁵ For your husband* is your maker,* his name is Yahweh of hosts; and your redeemer is the holy one of Israel, he is called the God of all of the earth.

¹⁰ I will rejoice greatly in Yahweh; my being shall shout in exultation in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns himself with a head wrap like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewelry.

⁴ It shall no longer be said of you, "Forsaken," and it shall no longer be said of your land, "Desolation!" but _⌊you will_⌋* be called "My Delight Is In Her," and your land, "Married," for Yahweh delights in you, and your land shall be married.

²³ Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, "They will again say these words* in the land of Judah and in its towns at my restoring their fortunes,*
'Yahweh bless you, O settlement of righteousness, O hill of holiness.'

²⁹ The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices _⌊greatly_⌋* because of the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine is complete.

² For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy, because I promised you in marriage to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

²⁵ Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is a slave with her children. ²⁶ But the Jerusalem above is free, which is our mother.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for her; ²⁶ in order that he might sanctify her by cleansing her* with the washing of water by the word; ²⁷ in order that he might present to himself the church glorious, not having a spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she may be holy and blameless.

³⁰ because we are members of his body. ³¹ "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."* ³² (This mystery is great, but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.)

¹⁰ For he was expecting the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

²² But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to tens of thousands of angels, to the festal gathering

¹⁴ For here we do not have a permanent city, but we seek the city that is to come.

¹ The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his slaves the things which must take place in a short time, and communicated it by* sending it through his angel to his slave John,

⁴ John, to the seven churches in Asia:* grace to you and peace from the one who is and the one who was and the one who is coming, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,

⁹ I, John, your brother and co-sharer in the affliction and kingdom and steadfastness in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony about Jesus.

¹² The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go outside again, and I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God, and my new name.

² And leave out the courtyard outside of the temple, and do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles, and they will trample the holy city for forty two months.

⁷ Let us rejoice and be glad and give him the glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself. ⁸ And it has been granted to her that she be dressed in bright, clean fine linen (for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints).

¹⁰ And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and lofty mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

¹⁹ And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share of the tree of life and from the holy city that are written in this book.

⁷ And I will establish my covenant between me and you, and between your offspring after you, throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant to be as God for you and to your offspring after you. ⁸ And I will give to you and to your offspring after you _⌊the land in which you are living as an alien_⌋,* all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting property. And I will be to them as God."

¹¹ And I will put my dwelling place in your midst, and my inner self* shall not abhor you. ¹² And I will walk about in your midst, and I shall be your God,* and you shall be my people.*

²⁷ For will God really dwell on the earth? Behold, the heavens and the heaven of heavens could not contain you! _⌊How could_⌋* this house that I have built?

¹⁸ "But will God indeed dwell with humankind upon the earth? Look, the heavens and _⌊the highest heavens_⌋* cannot contain you! Surely then this house that I have built will not contain you!

⁶ Inhabitant of Zion, shout out and sing for joy, for the holy one of Israel is great in your midst."

³³ "But this is the covenant that I will _⌊make_⌋* with the house of Israel after those days," _⌊declares_⌋* Yahweh: "I will put my law in their inward parts and on their hearts* I will write it, and I will be to them God, and they themselves will be to me people.

³⁸ And they will be for me a people, and I will be for them God.

²⁷ And my tabernacle will be with them, and I will be for them as God, and they will be to me as a nation.

⁷ And he said to me, "Son of man,* this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet _⌊where I will dwell_⌋* in the midst of the _⌊Israelites_⌋* to eternity, and they, the house of Israel, they and their kings, will not again defile _⌊my holy name_⌋* with their fornication and with their offerings for the dead* of their kings on their high places.

⁸ and I will bring them and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They will be my people and I will be their God in faithfulness* and in righteousness.'

⁹ And I will bring the remaining third into the fire, and I will refine them like one refines silver, and I will test them like one tests gold. They* will call my name, and I will answer them.* I will say, 'They* are my people,' and they* will say, 'Yahweh is my God.'"

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and took up residence among us, and we saw his glory, glory as of the one and only from the Father, full of grace and truth.

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves me he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and _⌊will take up residence with him_⌋.*

¹⁶ And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said,
"I will live in* them and will walk about among them, and I will be their God and they will be my people."*

¹⁸ and I will be a father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to me,"* says the all-powerful Lord.

¹⁰ For this is the covenant that I will decree with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I am putting my laws in their minds and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be _⌊their_⌋* God and they will be _⌊my_⌋* people.

¹⁶ But now they aspire to a better land, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

¹⁵ Because of this, they are before the throne of God, and they serve* him day and night in his temple, and the one who is seated on the throne _⌊will shelter_⌋* them.

⁴ And when the seven thunders spoke,* I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders spoke, and do not write them!"

⁸ And the voice that I had heard from heaven was speaking with me again and saying, "Go, take the opened scroll in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land."

¹⁰ And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,
"Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, because the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.

⁷ The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be _⌊his God_⌋* and he will be _⌊my son_⌋*.

⁴ Humankind is like a breath, his days like a passing shadow.

⁸ He will _⌊destroy_⌋* death forever, and the Lord Yahweh will wipe off the tears from all faces, and he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth,
for Yahweh has spoken.

¹⁹ For people will live in Zion; in Jerusalem, you will surely not weep. Surely he will be gracious to you; when he hears the sound of your cry, he will answer you.

¹⁰ And the ransomed of Yahweh shall return, and they shall come to Zion with rejoicing. And everlasting joy shall be on their head; joy and gladness shall overtake them, and sorrow and sighing shall flee.

¹¹ So* the redeemed ones of Yahweh shall return, and they shall come to Zion with singing, and everlasting joy shall be on their heads.* Joy and gladness shall _⌊appear_⌋;* sorrow and sighing shall flee away!

²⁰ Your sun shall no longer go down, and your moon shall not _⌊wane_⌋,* for Yahweh himself will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall come to an end.

³ to _⌊give_⌋* for those in mourning in Zion, to give them a head wrap instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of a faint spirit. And _⌊they will be called_⌋* oaks of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, to show his glory.

¹³ "Then the young woman will rejoice in the dancing in a ring, and the young men and the old men together. And I will turn their mourning to jubilation, and I will comfort them, and I will gladden them from their sorrow.

¹⁴ Should I redeem them from _⌊the power_⌋* of Sheol? * Should I deliver them from death? Where are your plagues, O Death? Where is your destruction, O Sheol?* Compassion is hidden from my eyes.

³⁵ Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

³¹ and those who make use of the world as if they do not make full use of it. For the present form of this world is passing away.

²⁶ The last enemy to be abolished is death.

⁵⁴ But whenever this perishable body puts on incorruptibility and this mortal body puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will take place:
"Death is swallowed up in victory. ⁵⁵ Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? ⁵⁶ Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! ⁵⁸ So then, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, because you* know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

¹⁷ Therefore "come out from their midst and be separate," says the Lord, "and do not touch what is unclean,* and I will welcome you,*

¹⁴ Therefore, since the children share in blood and flesh, he also in like manner shared in these same things, in order that through death he could destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, ¹⁵ and could set free these who through fear of death were subject to slavery throughout all their lives.

¹⁷ And the world is passing away, and its desire,* but the one who does the will of God remains _⌊forever_⌋*.

¹⁷ because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and will lead them to springs of living waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."*

¹⁴ And Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire.

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea did not exist any longer.

³ And there will not be any curse any longer, and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his slaves will serve* him,

⁹ Look! the former things have come, and I declare new things. I _⌊announce_⌋* them to you before they sprout up."

¹⁹ Look! I am about to do a new thing! Now it sprouts! Do you not perceive* it? Indeed, I will _⌊make_⌋* a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.

¹⁷ Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.

¹¹ saying, "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea."

¹⁹ Therefore, write the things which you saw, and the things which are, and the things which are about to take place after these things.

² Immediately I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one was seated on the throne.

⁹ And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who is seated on the throne, the one who lives _⌊forever and ever_⌋*,

¹ And I saw in the right hand of the one who is seated on the throne a scroll, written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals.

⁹ And he said to me, "Write: Blessed are those who are invited to the banquet of the wedding celebration of the Lamb!" And he said to me, "These are the true words of God."

⁶ And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true, and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his slaves the things which must take place in a short time."

⁹ For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

³ And you will draw water from the wells of salvation in joy.

¹ "Ho! Everyone thirsty, come to the waters! And whoever has no money, come, buy and eat, and come, buy without money, wine and milk without price! ² Why do you weigh out money for what is not food, and your labor for _⌊what cannot satisfy_⌋?* Listen carefully to me, and eat what is good, and let your soul take pleasure in _⌊rich_⌋* food. ³ Extend your ear, and come to me! Listen so that* your soul may live, and I will _⌊make_⌋* an everlasting covenant with* you, the enduring proofs of _⌊the mercies shown to_⌋* David.

¹³ "For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the source* of living water, to hew out for themselves cisterns, cracked cisterns that can hold no water.

⁴ I will heal their disloyalty;* I will love them freely because my anger has turned back from them.*

¹⁸ And it will happen on that day; the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with milk, and all the channels of Judah will flow with water. A spring from the house of Yahweh will come forth, and it will water the valley of Acacia Trees.*

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her, "If you had known the gift of God and who it is who says to you, 'Give me water* to drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water."

¹⁴ But whoever drinks of this water which I will give to him will never be thirsty for eternity, but the water which I will give to him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."

³⁷ Now on the last day of the feast—the great day—Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and let him drink, ³⁸ the one who believes in me.* Just as the scripture said, 'Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.'"*

²⁴ being justified as a gift by his grace, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,

³² Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, together with him, freely give us all things?

¹² Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, in order that we may know the things freely given to us by God,

⁵ Therefore, what is Apollos and what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, and to each as the Lord gave.

¹² Now if anyone builds upon the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, straw,

²¹ So then, let no one boast in people. For all things are yours,

⁴ because everyone who is fathered by God conquers the world. ⁵ Now who is the one who conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

⁸ I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, the one who is and the one who was and the one who is coming, the All-Powerful.

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead person, and he placed his right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last,

⁶ and swore by the one who lives _⌊forever and ever_⌋*, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, "There will be no more delay!

¹⁷ And the seventh poured out his bowl on the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And the one who hears, let him say, "Come!" And the one who is thirsty, let him come. The one who wants, let him take the water of life freely.*

⁸ He raises up the poor from the dust. From the ash heap he lifts up the needy, to cause them to sit with noble people and to cause them to inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth belong to Yahweh and he has set the inhabited world on them.

³⁵ They will inherit the honor of the wise, but stubborn fools, disgrace.

⁹ And I will bring descendant s* out from Jacob, and a _⌊people_⌋* from Judah to take possession of my mountain, and my chosen ones shall inherit it, and my servants shall settle there.

²⁹ And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife* or children or fields on account of my name will receive a hundred times as much, and will inherit eternal life.

³⁴ Then the king will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world!

¹⁷ And as* he was setting out on his way, one individual ran up and knelt down before him and* asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do so that I will inherit eternal life?"

¹⁵ For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, "Abba!* Father!" ¹⁶ The Spirit himself confirms to our spirit that we are children of God, ¹⁷ and if children, also heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer together with him so that we may also be glorified together with him.

²¹ So then, let no one boast in people. For all things are yours, ²² whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come, all things are yours, ²³ and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ into an inheritance imperishable and undefiled and unfading, reserved in heaven for you

⁹ not repaying evil for evil or insult for insult, but on the other hand blessing others, because for this reason you were called, so that you could inherit a blessing.

¹ See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called children of God, and we are! Because of this the world does not know us: because it did not know him. ² Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever he is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is. ³ And everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as that one is pure.

⁷ The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will grant to him to eat from the tree of life which is in the paradise of God.'

¹¹ The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will never be harmed by the second death.'

¹⁷ The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give to him some of the hidden manna, and I will give to him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, that no one knows except the one who receives it.'

²⁵ Nevertheless, hold fast to what you have until I come.

³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
"Behold, the dwelling of God is with humanity, and he will take up residence with them, and they will be his people and God himself will be with them.*

⁸ And the officials shall continue to speak to the troops, and they shall say, '_⌊What man_⌋* is afraid _⌊and disheartened_⌋?* Let him go, and let him return to his house, and let him not cause the heart of his brothers to melt* like his.'

³ So then, please proclaim in the _⌊hearing_⌋* of the troops, saying, 'Whoever is fearful and trembling, let him return and depart from the Mount of Gilead.'" About twenty-two thousand troops returned, and ten thousand remained.

⁵ A witness of falsehood will not go unpunished, and he who breathes lies will not escape.

⁹ A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes lies will perish.

¹¹ And of whom were you afraid and feared, that you deceived and did not remember me? Did you not place it on your heart? Have I not been silent, even from long ago, and so you do not fear me?

⁵ "Then I will approach you for judgment, and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers, and against those who swear _⌊falsely_⌋,* and against the oppressors of the hired worker with his wages, the widow and the orphan, and _⌊the abusers of_⌋* the alien,* and yet do not fear me," says Yahweh of hosts.

²⁶ And he said to them, "Why are you fearful, you of little faith?" Then he got up and* rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a great calm.

²⁸ And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul, but instead be afraid of the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

⁴ "And I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after these things do not have anything more to do. ⁵ But I will show you whom you should fear: fear the one who has authority, after the killing, to throw you* into hell! Yes, I tell you, fear this one! ⁶ Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten in the sight of God. ⁷ But even the hairs of your head are all numbered! Do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. ⁸ "And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before people, the Son of Man also will acknowledge him before the angels of God, ⁹ but the one who denies me before people will be denied before the angels of God.

⁴⁴ You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father! That one was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand firm in the truth, because truth is not in him. Whenever he speaks the lie, he speaks from his own nature,* because he is a liar and the father _⌊of lies_⌋.*

⁴² Yet despite that, even many of the rulers believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess it,* so that they would not be expelled from the synagogue. ⁴³ For they loved the praise of men more than praise from God.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Neither sexually immoral people, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor passive homosexual partners, nor dominant homosexual partners, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor greedy persons, not drunkards, not abusive persons, not swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

²⁰ No, but that the things which they sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to become sharers with demons. ²¹ You are not able to drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You are not able to share the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

¹⁹ Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are sexual immorality, impurity, licentiousness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, factions, ²¹ envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, things which I am telling you in advance, just as I said before, that the ones who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

⁵ For this you know _⌊for certain_⌋*, that every sexually immoral person, or unclean person, or greedy person (who is an idolater), does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. ⁶ Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.

⁹ whose coming is in accordance with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders,

⁹ knowing this, that the law is not given for a righteous person but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and totally worldly, for the one who kills his father and the one who kills his mother, for murderers, ¹⁰ sexually immoral people, homosexuals, kidnappers, liars, perjurers, and _⌊whatever_⌋* else is opposed to sound teaching,

² by the hypocrisy of liars, who are seared in their own conscience,

²⁴ and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and _⌊to the sprinkled blood_⌋* that speaks better than Abel's does.

⁴ Marriage must be held in honor by all, and the marriage bed be undefiled, because God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers.

¹⁴ But even if you might suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their intimidation or be disturbed,* ¹⁵ but set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense to anyone who asks you for an accounting concerning the hope that is in you.

²² Who is the liar except the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This person is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.

¹⁵ Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that every murderer does not have eternal life residing in him.

¹⁰ (The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning his Son.)

² 'I know your works, and your labor and patient endurance, and that you are not able to tolerate evil, and you put to the test those who call themselves apostles and are not, and you found them to be false.

²¹ and they did not repent of their murders or of their magic spells or of their sexual immorality or of their thefts.

²⁰ And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs before him, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who had worshiped his image. The two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulphur.

¹⁴ And Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. ¹⁵ And if anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

¹⁵ Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral people and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and who practices falsehood.

¹ And I saw another great and marvelous sign in heaven: seven angels having seven plagues that are the last ones, because with them the wrath of God is completed. ² And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had conquered the beast and his image and the number of his name were standing by* the glassy sea, holding harps from God. ³ And they were singing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
"Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God All-Powerful; righteous and true are your ways, King of the ages!* ⁴ Who would never fear, Lord, and glorify your name? For only you are holy, because all the nations* will come and worship before you, because your righteous deeds have been revealed." ⁵ And after these things I looked, and the temple, the tent of the testimony in heaven, was opened, ⁶ and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out from the temple, dressed in clean, bright linen garments, and girded with golden belts around their* chests. ⁷ And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives _⌊forever and ever_⌋*,

¹ And I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God." ² And the first went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and there was an evil and painful sore on the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image. ³ And the second poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood, like that of a dead person, and every living thing that was in the sea died. ⁴ And the third poured out his bowl on the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood. ⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters saying,
"You are righteous, the one who is and the one who was, the Holy One, because you have judged these things, ⁶ because they have poured out the blood of the saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; they are deserving!" ⁷ And I heard the altar saying,
"Yes, Lord God All-Powerful, true and righteous are your judgments." ⁸ And the fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was granted to it to burn up people with fire. ⁹ And people were burned up by the great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has the authority over these plagues, and they did not repent to give him glory. ¹⁰ And the fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened, and they began chewing their tongues because of the pain. ¹¹ And they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and because of their sores, and they did not repent of their deeds. ¹² And the sixth poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, in order that the way would be prepared for the kings from _⌊the east_⌋*. ¹³ And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet three unclean spirits like frogs. ¹⁴ For they are the spirits of demons performing signs that go out to the kings of the whole inhabited world, to gather them for the battle of the great day of God the All-Powerful. ¹⁵ (Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who is on the alert and who keeps his clothing, so that he does not walk around naked and they see his shamefulness!) ¹⁶ And he gathered them to the place called in Hebrew Armageddon. ¹⁷ And the seventh poured out his bowl on the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"

¹ And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters,

⁷ Let us rejoice and be glad and give him the glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself.

² And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.

¹² And it will happen that I will go from you and the Spirit of Yahweh will carry you up to where I do not know. Then I will come to tell Ahab, but he will not find you, and then he will kill me, even though your servant has feared Yahweh from my youth.

¹⁶ Then they said to him, "Look, there are with your servants fifty able men. Please let them go and look for your master, lest the Spirit of Yahweh has lifted him up and thrown him on one of the mountains or into one of the valleys," but he said, "You must not send them."

¹⁴ And the Spirit lifted me and took me, and I went in bitterness in the heat of my spirit, and the hand of Yahweh was strong on me.

³ And he sent out the form of a hand, and he took me by a lock of hair of my head, and the Spirit lifted me between earth and heaven, and it brought me to Jerusalem in visions of God to the doorway of the inner gate _⌊that faced north_⌋,* at which there was the seat of the image of jealousy, which was making jealous.

¹ And the Spirit lifted me up, and it brought me to the eastern gate, the one facing east, of the temple* of Yahweh. And look, there were twenty-five men in the doorway of the gate, and I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azzur in the midst of them, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, the commanders of the people.

²⁴ And the Spirit lifted me up, and it brought me to Chaldea, to the exiles,* in the vision by the spirit of God; and the vision that I had seen _⌊left me_⌋.*

¹ In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was destroyed, in this day exactly, the hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me there ² in visions from God. He brought me to the land of Israel and put me on a very high mountain, and on it was something like a structure of a city to the south. ³ And he brought me there, and look, there was a man whose* appearance was like the appearance of bronze, and a cord of linen was in his hand and a reed for measurement; he was standing in the gate. ⁴ And the man spoke to me, "Son of man,* look with your eyes and listen with your ears and apply* your heart to all that I am showing you, for you were brought here in order to show you this; tell all that you are seeing to the house of Israel." ⁵ And there was a wall on the outside of the temple _⌊all the way around it_⌋,* and in the hand of the man the reed* for measurement was six long cubits, _⌊according to_⌋* the cubit* and a handbreadth,* and he measured the width of the outer wall as one reed,* and the height as one reed.* ⁶ And then he went toward* the gate whose face was _⌊to the east_⌋.* And he went up by* its steps, and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed* wide. ⁷ And the alcove* was one reed* long and one reed* wide,* and between the alcoves was five cubits,* and the threshold of the gate along the side of the portico of the gate _⌊on the inside_⌋* was one reed.* ⁸ And then he measured the portico of the gate _⌊on the inside_⌋* as one reed.* ⁹ And he measured the portico of the gate as eight cubits,* and its pilaster was two cubits* thick, and he measured the portico of the gate _⌊on the inside_⌋.* ¹⁰ And the alcoves* of the gate toward the way* _⌊eastward_⌋* were _⌊three on each side_⌋;* _⌊the same measurements applied to all three of them_⌋;* and _⌊the same measurement applied to the pilaster_⌋* _⌊on each side_⌋.* ¹¹ And he measured the width of the doorway of the gate as ten cubits* and the length of the gateway* was thirteen cubits.* ¹² And a wall* _⌊was before_⌋* the alcoves; _⌊one cubit* on either side_⌋* was the wall from here.* And the alcove _⌊was six cubits* on each side_⌋.* ¹³ And he measured the gate from the top slab of the alcove to its opposite top slab as twenty-five cubits in width, _⌊from one entrance to the other one opposite it_⌋.* ¹⁴ And he made the pilasters sixty cubits,* and to the pilaster of the courtyard _⌊all the way around the gate_⌋.* ¹⁵ _⌊And from the front of_⌋* the gate at the entrance to _⌊the front of_⌋* the portico of the inner gate was fifty cubits.* ¹⁶ And there were narrow windows for the alcoves and for their pilasters to the inside of the gate _⌊all the way around_⌋* it. And likewise with respect to the porticos and windows were _⌊all the way around_⌋* to the inside, and on a pilaster there were images of palm trees.* ¹⁷ And he brought me to the outer courtyard, and there were chambers and a pavement made for the courtyard all around it, and thirty chambers were facing to the pavement. ¹⁸ And the pavement _⌊flanked_⌋* the side of the gates _⌊and all along the gates_⌋;* this describes the lower pavement. ¹⁹ And he measured the width from _⌊the front of_⌋* the lower gate to _⌊the front of_⌋* the outside of the inner courtyard as a hundred cubits* to the east and to the north. ²⁰ And as for the gate that had its face _⌊toward the north_⌋* of the outer courtyard, he measured its length and its width. ²¹ And its alcoves were _⌊three on each side_⌋,* and its pilasters and its porticos _⌊had the same measurement_⌋* as the first gate: its length was fifty cubits,* and its width was twenty-five _⌊cubits_⌋.* ²² And its windows and its porticos and its palm tree images were like the measurement of the gate that was _⌊facing toward the east_⌋;* and _⌊it had_⌋* seven steps that go up it, and there were porticos _⌊before them_⌋.* ²³ And a gate led to the inner courtyard, opposite the gate to the north and to the east, and he measured from gate to gate as a hundred cubits.* ²⁴ And then he took me _⌊toward the south_⌋,* and look, a gate _⌊toward the south_⌋,* and he measured its pilasters and its porticos; they had measurements just _⌊like the others_⌋.* ²⁵ And there were for it windows and for its porticos _⌊all the way around it_⌋* like these windows; fifty cubits* long and twenty-five cubits* wide. ²⁶ And seven steps were going up to it and its porticos _⌊before them_⌋.* And _⌊it had palm tree images_⌋* _⌊all along_⌋* its pilasters. ²⁷ And there was to the way of the south* a gate for the inner courtyard, and he measured from gate to the gate on the way of the south, a hundred cubits.* ²⁸ And he brought me to the inner courtyard through* the gate of the south, and he measured the south gate, and it had measurements like _⌊the others_⌋.* ²⁹ And its alcoves and its pilasters and its porticos were just like these measurements. And it had windows for it and for its porticos* _⌊all the way around_⌋,* fifty cubits* along* its length, and twenty-five cubits* wide. ³⁰ And there were porticos _⌊all the way around_⌋* its length, twenty-five cubits;* and its width was five cubits.* ³¹ And its porticos were to the outer courtyard, and palm tree images were on its pilasters, and eight steps were for its stairs. ³² And he brought me to the inner courtyard by way of the east gate, and he measured the gate as just like _⌊the other measurements_⌋.* ³³ And its alcoves and its pilasters and its porticos were also like these measurements, and windows were for it and for its porticos all around;* its length was fifty cubits,* and it was twenty-five cubits* wide. ³⁴ And its porticos were toward the outer courtyard, and palm tree images were on its pilasters _⌊one each side_⌋,* and _⌊eight steps served as it stairs_⌋.* ³⁵ And he brought me to the gate of the north, and he measured it; and he measured _⌊the same measurements as these others_⌋,* ³⁶ its alcoves, its pilasters and porticos, _⌊and its windows_⌋* _⌊all the way around_⌋,* and a length of fifty cubits* and twenty-five cubits wide.* ³⁷ And its pilasters _⌊faced the outer courtyard_⌋,* and _⌊it had palm tree images on its pilasters_⌋* _⌊on each side_⌋;* and eight steps served as its stairs. ³⁸ And a chamber with its doorway was in* the pilasters at the gates,* and there they rinsed off* the burnt offering. ³⁹ And in the portico of the gate _⌊were two tables on each side_⌋* to slaughter the burnt offering on them and the sin offering and the guilt offering. ⁴⁰ And on the outer side as one goes up to the doorway of the gate to the north were two tables, and on the other side, which is toward the portico of the gate, were two tables. ⁴¹ _⌊On each side of the gate were four tables_⌋,* eight tables in all, and on them they slaughtered sacrifices. ⁴² And four tables were for the burnt offering, and made of dressed stones, one cubit and a half* long and one cubit and a half wide and one cubit* high _⌊was their measurements_⌋,* and they placed the objects* with which they slaughtered the burnt offering on them and the sacrifice. ⁴³ And there were double-pronged hooks, one handbreadth in width, put in place in the house* all around, and on the tables was the flesh of the offering. ⁴⁴ And on the outside of the inner gate, there were chambers for* singers in the inner courtyard, which was to the side of the north gate, and their faces* _⌊were to the south_⌋* with respect to one, and on the side of the east gate one facing to the north. ⁴⁵ And he said to me, "This chamber _⌊with its face toward the south_⌋* is for the priests who are taking care of the responsibility of the temple. ⁴⁶ And the chamber _⌊with its face to the north_⌋* is for the priests who are taking care of the responsibility of the altar. They are the descendants* of Zadok, the ones who approach from among the descendants* of Levi to Yahweh to serve him." ⁴⁷ And he measured the courtyard as to its length, a hundred cubits,* and a hundred cubits* wide, squared, and the altar _⌊is in front of_⌋* the temple. ⁴⁸ And he brought me to the portico of the temple, and he measured the pilaster of the portico, _⌊five cubits on each side_⌋,* and the width of the gate _⌊was three cubits on each side_⌋.* ⁴⁹ The length of the portico was twenty cubits* and its width eleven cubits,* and with ten steps they went up to it, and the _⌊pilasters had pillars_⌋,* _⌊one on each side_⌋.*

¹⁵ And _⌊the remaining part_⌋* of five thousand cubits* in the width _⌊by_⌋* twenty-five thousand cubits,* is unholy;* it is for the city as dwelling and as pastureland; and the city will be located _⌊in the middle of it_⌋.* ¹⁶ And these shall be its measurements: on its side to the north, four thousand five hundred cubits;* and on its side to the south, four thousand five hundred cubits;* and on _⌊the eastern side_⌋,* four thousand five hundred cubits;* and on _⌊the western side_⌋,* four thousand five hundred cubits.* ¹⁷ And a pastureland shall be for the city northwards, two hundred and fifty cubits,* southwards two hundred and fifty cubits,* and eastwards two hundred and fifty cubits,* and westwards two hundred and fifty cubits.* ¹⁸ And the rest in its length _⌊alongside_⌋* _⌊the holy district_⌋,* ten thousand cubits* eastwards and ten thousand* westwards; and it shall be _⌊alongside_⌋* _⌊the holy district_⌋* and its yield* shall be as food for the workers of the city. ¹⁹ And the workers of the city from all the tribes of Israel shall cultivate it. ²⁰ All of the contribution, twenty-five thousand by twenty five thousand cubits* square, you shall set apart as _⌊the holy district_⌋* along with the property of the city. ²¹ And the rest shall be to* the prince, _⌊on both sides_⌋* _⌊of the holy district_⌋* and of the property of the city _⌊extending from_⌋* twenty-five thousand cubits of the contribution up to the boundary of the east, and westwards _⌊extending_⌋* twenty-five thousand cubits* to the boundary of the sea _⌊alongside_⌋* the tribal portions. They shall be for the prince, and it shall be _⌊the holy district_⌋,* and the sanctuary of the temple* will be in its middle. ²² And also the property of the Levites and the property of the city will be in the midst of the property which is for the prince; between the territory of Judah and between the territory of Benjamin the land will be for the prince.

³⁹ And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him any longer, for he went on his way rejoicing.

² I know a man in Christ fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or outside the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven, ³ and I know this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— ⁴ that he was caught up to paradise and heard words not to be spoken, which it is not permitted for a person to speak.

¹⁰ I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a great sound like a trumpet

³ And he carried me away into the wilderness in the Spirit,* and I saw a woman seated on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

¹⁷ Gold and glass cannot be compared with it, and its substitution cannot be an ornament of refined gold.

⁵ Then Yahweh will create over all of the site* of _⌊Mount Zion_⌋* and over her assembly a cloud by day and smoke and the brightness of flaming fire by night. Indeed, over all the glory there will be a canopy,

¹ "Arise, shine! For your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen on you. ² For look! darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples, but* Yahweh will rise on you, and his glory will appear over you.

¹⁹ The sun shall no longer be your light by day, and for bright light the moon shall not give you light, but* Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and your God your glory. ²⁰ Your sun shall no longer go down, and your moon shall not _⌊wane_⌋,* for Yahweh himself will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall come to an end.

²² Now* the likeness above the heads of the living creatures was an expanse like the outward appearance of _⌊awesome_⌋* _⌊ice_⌋* spread out above their heads _⌊upward_⌋.*

²⁶ And from above the expanse that was above their heads there was the likeness of a throne, _⌊looking like a sapphire_⌋,* and above the likeness of the throne was a likeness similar to* the appearance of a human on it, but _⌊above it_⌋.*

¹³ You were in Eden, the garden of God, and every precious stone was your adornment: carnelian, topaz and moonstone,* turquoise, onyx and jasper, sapphire,* malachite and emerald. And gold was the craftsmanship of your settings and your mountings in you; on the day when you were created they were prepared. ¹⁴ You were an anointed guardian cherub, and I placed you on _⌊God's holy mountain_⌋;* you walked in the midst of stones of fire.

¹⁶ In the abundance of your trading, they filled the midst of you with violence, and you sinned; and I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I expelled you, the guardian* cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

² And, look! The glory of the God of Israel, it came from the way of the east, and its sound was like the sound of many waters* and the land radiated due to his glory!

³⁵ All around the city is eighteen thousand cubits,* and the name of the city from that day is "Yahweh Is There"!

³ And the one seated was similar in appearance to jasper and carnelian stone, and a rainbow was around the throne similar in appearance to emerald.

⁶ And before the throne was something like a sea of glass, like crystal, and in the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

⁸ and the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

¹⁸ And the material of its wall is jasper, and the city is pure gold, similar in appearance to pure glass. ¹⁹ The foundations of the wall of the city are adorned with every kind of precious stone: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,

²² And I did not see a temple in it, for the Lord God All-Powerful is its temple, and the Lamb. ²³ And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon, that they shine on it, for the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

¹ And he showed me the river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming out from the throne of God and of the Lamb

⁵ And night will not exist any longer, and they will not have need of the light of a lamp and the light* of the sun, because the Lord God will give light to them, and they will reign _⌊forever and ever_⌋*.

² "The _⌊Israelites_⌋* will encamp each with his standard, with a banner according to _⌊their families_⌋;* they will encamp around the tent of assembly. ³ The ones who encamp on the eastern side, toward the sunrise, will be of the standard of the camp of Judah according to their divisions; and the leader of the descendants of Judah will be Nahshon son of Amminadab, ⁴ and his division and _⌊the ones counted_⌋* are seventy-four thousand six hundred. ⁵ And the ones who encamp next to him will be the tribe of Issachar. And the leader of the descendants of Issachar will be Nethanel son of Zuar, ⁶ and his division are fifty-four thousand four hundred. ⁷ For the tribe of Zebulun: the leader of the descendants of Zebulun will be Eliab son of Helon, ⁸ and his division and the _⌊ones counted_⌋* are fifty-seven thousand four hundred. ⁹ All those counted from the camp of Judah are one hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred. They will set out first according to their divisions. ¹⁰ "The standard of the camp of Reuben will be to the south according to their divisions. The leader of the descendants will be Elizur son of Shedeur. ¹¹ And his division and the _⌊ones counted_⌋* are forty-six thousand five hundred. ¹² Those encamped next to him will be the tribe of Simeon. They will set out second according to their divisions. ¹⁷ "The tent of assembly the camp of the Levites will set out in the midst of the camps; they will set out just as they encamped, _⌊each according to their standards_⌋.* ¹⁸ "The standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their divisions will be to the west. The leader of the descendants of Ephraim will be Elishama son of Ammihud. ¹⁹ And his division and the _⌊ones counted_⌋* are forty thousand five hundred. ²⁰ The tribe of Manasseh will be next to him. The leader of the descendants of the tribe of Manasseh will be Camaliel son of Pedahzur. ²¹ And his division and the _⌊ones counted_⌋* are thirty-two thousand two hundred. ²² For the tribe of Benjamin: the leader of the descendants of Benjamin will be Abidan son of Gideoni. ²³ And his division and the _⌊ones counted_⌋* are thirty-five thousand four hundred. ²⁴ All _⌊those counted_⌋* from the camp of Ephraim are one hundred and eighty thousand one hundred. They will set out third according to their divisions. ²⁵ "The standard of the camp of Dan according to their divisions will be to the west. The leader of the descendants of Dan will be Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai. ²⁶ And his division and the _⌊ones counted_⌋* are sixty-two thousand seven hundred. ²⁷ Those encamped next to him will be the tribe of Asher. The leader of the descendants of Asher will be Pagiel son of Ocran. ²⁸ And his division and the _⌊ones counted_⌋* are forty-one thousand five hundred. ²⁹ For the tribe of Naphtali: the leader of the descendants of Naphtali will be Ahira son of Enan. ³⁰ And his division and the _⌊ones counted_⌋* are fifty-three thousand four hundred. ³¹ All the _⌊ones counted_⌋* from the camp of Dan are one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred. They will set out _⌊last_⌋* according to their divisions." ³² These were the ones counted of the _⌊Israelites_⌋* according to _⌊their families_⌋;* all those counted from the camps according to their divisions were six hundred and three thousand five hundred.

⁹ For we are slaves and in our bondage our God did not forsake us, and he has extended to us loyal love in the presence of the kings of Persia, to give to us deliverance* and to set up the house of our God, to repair its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judea and Jerusalem.

²⁷ At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites from all of their places in order to bring them to Jerusalem to do the dedication with joy, thanksgivings, song and cymbals, stringed instruments and lyres.

¹⁸ Do good in your favor toward Zion. Build the walls of Jerusalem.

⁷ May peace be within your walls, security within your palaces."

¹² And I will _⌊make_⌋* your battlements of ruby, and your gates of stones of beryl, and all your wall of precious stones.

¹⁸ Violence shall no longer be heard in your land; devastation or* destruction on your borders. And you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates, Praise.

³¹ And the gates of the city shall be according to the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates to the north, the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one. ³² And on the east side, four thousand five hundred cubits,* and three gates, and so the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one. ³³ And on the south side, four thousand five hundred cubits* by measurement, and so three gates, the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one. ³⁴ And on the west* side, four thousand five hundred cubits,* and their gates three, the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.

¹⁰ "See to it that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in heaven constantly see the face of my Father who is in heaven.*

¹⁰ In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

²² Now it happened that the poor man died, and he was carried away by the angels to _⌊Abraham's side_⌋.* And the rich man also died and was buried.

⁷ to which our twelve tribes hope to attain as they earnestly serve him* night and day. Concerning this hope I am being accused by the Jews, O king!

¹⁴ Are they not all spirits engaged in special service, sent on assignment for the sake of those who are going to inherit salvation?

⁴ And I heard the number of the ones who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel: ⁵ from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand sealed,
from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand,
from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand, ⁶ from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand,
from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand,
from the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand, ⁷ from the tribe of Simeon,* twelve thousand,
from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand,
from the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand, ⁸ from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand,
from the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand,
from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were sealed.

¹⁷ And he measured its wall, one hundred forty-four cubits* _⌊according to human measure_⌋*, which is the angel's. ¹⁸ And the material of its wall is jasper, and the city is pure gold, similar in appearance to pure glass. ¹⁹ The foundations of the wall of the city are adorned with every kind of precious stone: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, ²⁰ the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. ²¹ And the twelve gates are twelve pearls, each one of the gates was from a single pearl. And the street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass.

²⁵ And its gates will never be shut by day (for there will be no night there),

¹¹ "O afflicted one, driven away, who is not consoled. Look! I am about to set your stones in hard mortar, and I will lay your foundation with sapphires.

² Now these are the names of the twelve apostles: first Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, James* the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, ³ Philip, and Bartholomew, Thomas, and Matthew the tax collector, James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, ⁴ Simon the Zealot,* and Judas Iscariot—the one who also betrayed him.

¹⁸ And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it!

¹⁰ According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building upon it. But each one must direct his attention to how he is building upon it. ¹¹ For no one is able to lay another foundation than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

⁹ and when James and Cephas and John—those thought to be pillars—acknowledged the grace given to me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, in order that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcision.

²⁰ built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone,*

⁵ (which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit):

¹¹ And he himself gave some as apostles and some as prophets and some as evangelists and some as pastors and teachers

¹⁷ But you, dear friends, remember the words proclaimed beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

²⁰ Rejoice over her, heaven and the saints and the apostles and the prophets, because God has pronounced your judgment on her!"

³ And you will put there the ark of the testimony, and you will cover over the ark with the curtain.* ⁴ And you will bring the table, and you will arrange its setting, and you will bring the lampstand, and you will set up its lamps. ⁵ And you will put the gold altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and you will set up the entrance screen for the tabernacle.

¹ And he brought me to the temple sanctuary,* and he measured the pilasters, _⌊six cubits* wide on each side_⌋;* this was the width of the tent.* ² And the width of the doorway was ten cubits,* and the sidewall of the doorway _⌊was five cubits on each side_⌋,* and he measured its* length as forty cubits,* and its width was twenty cubits.* ³ And he went into the inner room, and he measured the pilaster of the doorway as two cubits* and the doorway as six cubits* and the width of the doorway seven cubits.* ⁴ And he measured its length as twenty cubits* and its width as twenty cubits to the front of the temple, and he said to me, "This is _⌊the most holy place_⌋.* ⁵ And he measured the wall of the temple as six cubits,* and the width of the side room as four cubits* _⌊all along the outside wall for the temple all around the wall_⌋.*

¹ And I _⌊looked up_⌋* and I saw, and look, a man, and in his hand was a measuring rope!

¹ And a measuring rod similar in appearance to a staff was given to me, saying, "Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship in it. ² And leave out the courtyard outside of the temple, and do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles, and they will trample the holy city for forty two months.

⁸ And next to the territory of Judah, from _⌊the eastern border_⌋* up to _⌊the western border_⌋,* shall be located the contribution that you set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits* in width, and its length just like one of the portions from _⌊the eastern border_⌋* up to _⌊the western border_⌋,* and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it. ⁹ The contribution that you shall set apart for Yahweh, its length shall be twenty-five thousand cubits,* and its width ten thousand cubits.* ¹⁰ And to these shall be _⌊the holy district_⌋:* to the priests northwards twenty-five thousand cubits,* and westwards its width ten thousand cubits,* and eastwards its width ten thousand cubits,* and southwards its length twenty-five thousand cubits,* and the sanctuary of Yahweh shall be in the midst of it. ¹¹ To the priests, the ones being consecrated from the descendants* of Zadok, who took care of my service and who _⌊did not go astray_⌋* _⌊when the Israelites went astray_⌋,* _⌊just as_⌋* the Levites went astray. ¹² And it will be for them a special gift from the contribution of the land _⌊as a most holy object_⌋* next to the territory of the Levites. ¹³ And the Levites _⌊alongside_⌋* the territory of the priests shall have twenty-five thousand cubits* in length and in width ten thousand cubits,* its _⌊full length_⌋,* twenty-five thousand cubits* and its full width, ten thousand cubits.* ¹⁴ And they shall not sell any part from it, and shall not exchange, and shall not transfer the best of the land, for it is holy to Yahweh. ¹⁵ And _⌊the remaining part_⌋* of five thousand cubits* in the width _⌊by_⌋* twenty-five thousand cubits,* is unholy;* it is for the city as dwelling and as pastureland; and the city will be located _⌊in the middle of it_⌋.* ¹⁶ And these shall be its measurements: on its side to the north, four thousand five hundred cubits;* and on its side to the south, four thousand five hundred cubits;* and on _⌊the eastern side_⌋,* four thousand five hundred cubits;* and on _⌊the western side_⌋,* four thousand five hundred cubits.* ¹⁷ And a pastureland shall be for the city northwards, two hundred and fifty cubits,* southwards two hundred and fifty cubits,* and eastwards two hundred and fifty cubits,* and westwards two hundred and fifty cubits.* ¹⁸ And the rest in its length _⌊alongside_⌋* _⌊the holy district_⌋,* ten thousand cubits* eastwards and ten thousand* westwards; and it shall be _⌊alongside_⌋* _⌊the holy district_⌋* and its yield* shall be as food for the workers of the city. ¹⁹ And the workers of the city from all the tribes of Israel shall cultivate it. ²⁰ All of the contribution, twenty-five thousand by twenty five thousand cubits* square, you shall set apart as _⌊the holy district_⌋* along with the property of the city.

¹¹ (For only Og, king of Bashan, was left from the remnant of the Rephaim. Indeed, his bedstead—it was a bedstead of iron. It is in Rabbah of the _⌊Ammonites_⌋.* Nine cubits is its length, and four cubits is its width according to the cubit of a man.)

⁴ And I heard the number of the ones who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

¹⁸ Here is wisdom: the one who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number,* and his number is six hundred sixty-six.*

³ And they were singing something like a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders, and no one was able to learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand who had been bought from the earth.

⁹ And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."

¹¹ that has the glory of God. Its radiance is like a precious stone, something like a jasper stone, shining like crystal.

¹⁹ The foundations of the wall of the city are adorned with every kind of precious stone: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,

²¹ And the twelve gates are twelve pearls, each one of the gates was from a single pearl. And the street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass.

¹⁷ And you will fill it with stone mounting, four rows of stone, a row of carnelian, topaz, and emerald is the first row; ¹⁸ and the second row is a malachite, a sapphire, and a moonstone; ¹⁹ and the third row is a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; ²⁰ and the fourth row is a turquoise and an onyx and a jasper. Their settings will be woven with gold. ²¹ The stones will be according to the names of the _⌊Israelites_⌋,* twelve according to their names, with seal engravings, each according to its name they will be for the twelve tribes.

¹⁰ "And you will bring the bull before the tent of assembly, and Aaron and his sons will lay their hands on the head of the bull. ¹¹ And you will slaughter the bull before Yahweh at the entrance of the tent of assembly. ¹² And you will take some of the blood of the bull and with your finger put it on the horns of the altar, and you will pour out all the blood at the base of the altar. ¹³ And you will take and turn into smoke on the altar all the fat covering the inner parts and the lobe on the liver and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them. ¹⁴ And the flesh of the bull and its skin and its offal you will burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.

¹⁶ It cannot be bought for the gold of Ophir, for precious onyx or* sapphire. ¹⁷ Gold and glass cannot be compared with it, and its substitution cannot be an ornament of refined gold. ¹⁸ Black corals and crystal will not be mentioned, and wisdom's price is more than red corals. ¹⁹ The topaz of Cush cannot be compared with it; it cannot be bought for pure gold.

¹⁵ She is more precious than rubies, and all your desires shall not compare with her.

²⁰ In front, the inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide and twenty cubits high, and he overlaid it with pure gold and covered the altar with cedar.

¹⁷ Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver, and instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. And I will _⌊appoint_⌋* peace as your overseer, and righteousness as _⌊your ruling body_⌋.* ¹⁸ Violence shall no longer be heard in your land; devastation or* destruction on your borders. And you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates, Praise.

⁴⁵ "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls. ⁴⁶ And when he* found one very valuable pearl, he went and* sold everything that he possessed and purchased it.

⁴ And the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, holding a golden cup in her hand full of detestable things and the unclean things of her sexual immorality.

¹⁶ saying,
"Woe, woe, the great city, dressed in fine linen and purple cloth and scarlet cloth, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls,

¹¹ that has the glory of God. Its radiance is like a precious stone, something like a jasper stone, shining like crystal. ¹² It has* a great and high wall that has twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on the gates which are* of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel—

¹⁸ And the material of its wall is jasper, and the city is pure gold, similar in appearance to pure glass.

² in the middle of its street, and _⌊on both sides of the river_⌋* is the tree of life, producing twelve fruits—yielding its fruit according to every month—and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

⁶ Now who indeed has adequate strength to build a house for him? For the heavens and _⌊the highest heavens_⌋* are not able to contain him. Now who am I that I would build a house for him, except to burn incense before him?

¹ Thus says Yahweh:
"Heaven is my throne, and the earth is the footstool for my feet. Where is this house that you would build for me? And where is this resting place for me?

¹⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up!" ²⁰ Then the Jews said, "This temple has been under construction* forty-six years, and will you raise it up in three days?" ²¹ But he was speaking about the temple of his body.

²¹ Jesus said to her, "Believe me, woman, that an hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.

²³ But an hour is coming—and now is here*—when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for indeed the Father seeks such people to be his worshipers.

³⁰ The Father and I are one."

¹⁹ because he was well pleased for all the fullness to dwell in him,

⁹ because in him all the fullness of deity dwells bodily,

¹ Now* the first covenant had regulations for worship and the earthly sanctuary. ² For a tent was prepared, the first one, in which were the lampstand and the table and the presentation of the loaves, which is called the holy place. ³ And after the second curtain was a tent called the holy of holies, ⁴ containing the golden incense altar and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which were a golden jar containing the manna and the rod of Aaron that budded and the tablets of the covenant. ⁵ And above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, about which it is not now possible to speak in detail. ⁶ Now these things having been prepared in this way, the priests enter into the first tent _⌊continually_⌋* as they* accomplish their service, ⁷ but only the high priest enters into the second tent once a year, not without blood, which he offers on behalf of himself and the sins of the people committed in ignorance. ⁸ The Holy Spirit was making this clear, that the way into the holy place was not yet revealed, while* the first tent was still in existence, ⁹ which was a symbol for the present time, in which both the gifts and sacrifices which were offered were not able to perfect the worshiper with respect to the conscience, ¹⁰ concerning instead only food and drink and different washings, regulations of outward things imposed until the time of setting things right. ¹¹ But Christ has arrived as a high priest of the good things to come. Through the greater and more perfect tent not made by hands, that is, not of this creation, ¹² and not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, he entered once for all into the most holy place, obtaining eternal redemption.

⁸ And the four living creatures, _⌊each one_⌋* of them, had six wings apiece, full of eyes around and inside, and they do not have rest day and night, saying,
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God All-Powerful,* the one who was and the one who is and the one who is coming!"

⁶ And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing as though slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth.

¹⁷ saying,
"We give thanks to you, Lord God All-Powerful, the one who is and the one who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.

³ And they were singing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
"Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God All-Powerful; righteous and true are your ways, King of the ages!*

⁷ And I heard the altar saying,
"Yes, Lord God All-Powerful, true and righteous are your judgments."

¹⁴ For they are the spirits of demons performing signs that go out to the kings of the whole inhabited world, to gather them for the battle of the great day of God the All-Powerful.

¹⁵ And out of his mouth came a sharp sword, so that with it he could strike the nations. And he will shepherd them with an iron rod,* and he stomps the winepress of the wine of the furious wrath of God, the All-Powerful.

⁴ And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any longer, and* mourning or wailing or pain will not exist any longer. The former things* have passed away." ⁵ And the one seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new!" And he said, "Write, because these words are faithful and true."

¹⁰ Enter into the rock and hide yourself in the dust from the presence of the terror of Yahweh and from the glory of his majesty.

¹⁹ and they will enter into the caves of the rocks and into the holes of the ground from the presence of the terror of Yahweh and from the glory of his majesty _⌊when he rises_⌋* to terrify the earth.

²¹ to enter into the crevices of the rocks and into the clefts of the crags from the presence of the terror of Yahweh and from the glory of his majesty, _⌊when he rises_⌋* to terrify the earth.

²³ And the full moon will be ashamed and the sun will be ashamed, for Yahweh of hosts will rule on _⌊Mount Zion_⌋* and in Jerusalem, and before his elders in glory.

³ God came from Teman; the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covers the heavens, and his praise fills the earth.

²⁷ For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and at that time he will reward each one according to _⌊what he has done_⌋.*

³⁸ For whoever is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

³² a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory to your people Israel."

⁴ In him was life, and the life was the light of humanity.*

⁹ The true light, who gives light to every person, was coming into the world.

¹⁸ No one has seen God at any time; the one and only, God, the one who is in the bosom of the Father—that one has made him* known.

²³ in order that all people* will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

²⁴ "Father, those whom you have given to me—I want that those also may be with me where I am, in order that they may see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

¹¹ And as I could not see as a result of the brightness of that light, I arrived in Damascus led by the hand of those who were with me.

¹ After these things I saw another angel descending from heaven, who had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.

⁴³ Call for songs of joy, O nations, concerning his people,* for the blood of his servants he will avenge, _⌊and he will take reprisals against his foes_⌋,* and he will make atonement for his land, his people."

²⁷ All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Yahweh. All the families of the nations will worship before you.

¹⁰ Let the kings of Tarshish and the islands bring tribute. Let the kings of Sheba and Seba present gifts, ¹¹ and let all kings bow down to him. Let all nations serve him.

² And it shall happen in the future of the days the mountain of the house* of Yahweh shall be established; it will be among the highest* of the mountains, and it shall be raised from the hills. All of the nations shall travel to him;

⁵ House of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Yahweh.

¹⁵ so he shall sprinkle many nations; because of him, kings shall shut their mouths.* For they shall see what has not been told them, and they shall consider with full attention what they have not heard.

⁵ Look! You shall call a nation that you do not know, and a nation that does not know you shall run to you, because of Yahweh your God, and the holy one of Israel, for he has glorified you."

¹⁰ For just as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and they do not return there except they have watered the earth thoroughly and cause it to bring forth and sprout, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

³ And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the bright light of your sunrise. ⁴ Lift up your eyes all around and see! All of them gather; they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be looked after on the hip. ⁵ Then you shall see and you shall be radiant; and your heart shall tremble and open itself wide, because the abundance of the sea shall fall upon you; the wealth of the nations shall come to you. ⁶ A multitude of camels shall cover you, the young male camels of Midian and Ephah. All those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and frankincense, and they shall proclaim the praise of Yahweh. ⁷ All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered to you; the rams of Nebaioth shall serve you. They shall present a sacrifice for favor on my altar, and I will glorify _⌊my honorable house_⌋.* ⁸ Who are these? They fly like a cloud, and like doves to their coops. ⁹ Because the coastlands wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish are first to bring your children from afar, their silver and gold with them, for the name of Yahweh your God, and for the holy one of Israel, because he has glorified you. ¹⁰ And _⌊foreigners_⌋* shall build your walls, and their kings shall serve you, for in my anger I struck you, but* in my favor I have taken pity on you.

¹³ The glory of Lebanon shall come to you; the cypress, the plane, and the pine together, to glorify the place of my sanctuary, and I will do honor to the place of my feet.

¹⁶ And you shall suck the milk of nations, and suck the breast of kings, and you shall know that I am Yahweh your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Strong One of Jacob.

¹¹ so that you may suck and be satisfied from her _⌊consoling breast_⌋,* so that you may drink deeply and refresh yourselves from her _⌊heavy breast_⌋."* ¹² For thus says Yahweh:
"Look! I am about to spread prosperity out to her like a river, and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream, and you shall suck and be carried on the hip; and you shall you shall be played with on the knees.

¹⁸ "And I—their works and thoughts!—am about to come to gather all nations and tongues, and they shall come and see my glory.

² and you swear, '_⌊As Yahweh lives_⌋,'* in truth, in justice, and in righteousness, then nations will be blessed by him, and in him they will boast."

¹¹ "Many nations will join themselves to Yahweh on that day, and they will be my people, and I will dwell in your midst. And you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me to you.

²² And many peoples and powerful* nations will come to seek Yahweh of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat _⌊the favor of_⌋* Yahweh.' ²³ Thus says Yahweh of hosts: 'In those days ten men from _⌊all the nations of every language_⌋* will take hold of the hem of a Judean man,* saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you!" '"

¹⁰ And again it says,
"Rejoice, Gentiles, with his people."* ¹¹ And again,
"Praise the Lord, all the Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise him."* ¹² And again Isaiah says,
"The root of Jesse will come, even the one who rises to rule over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will put their hope."*

¹⁶ with the result that I am a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving the gospel of God as a priest, in order that the offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

²⁶ For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

²⁶ and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

¹¹ And your gates shall continually be open, day and night they shall not be shut, to bring you the wealth of nations, and their kings shall be led.

⁷ There shall be continuous day—it is known to Yahweh—not day and not night; and at evening time there will be light.

²³ And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon, that they shine on it, for the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb. ²⁴ And the nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.

⁴⁶ For all the days during which the infection is on him, he shall be unclean; he must live alone; his dwelling must be _⌊outside the camp_⌋."*

³ You will send away _⌊both male and female_⌋;* you will send them _⌊outside the camp_⌋.* They must not make unclean their camps where I am dwelling in their midst."

¹⁵ So Miriam was confined to the outside place of the camp seven days, and the people did not set out until Miriam was gathered.

⁸ _⌊Each morning_⌋,* I will destroy all the wicked of the land, cutting off from the city of Yahweh all evildoers.

⁸ And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness. The unclean shall not travel through it, but* it is for them, he who walks on the way; and fools shall not wander about.

²¹ And all your people shall be righteous; they shall take possession of the land forever, the shoot of his* planting, the work of my hands, to show my glory.

⁹ Thus says the Lord Yahweh: "Every _⌊foreigner_⌋* uncircumcised of heart and uncircumcised of flesh shall not come into my sanctuary—not any of the _⌊foreigners_⌋* who are in the midst of the _⌊Israelites_⌋.*

¹⁷ And you will know that I, Yahweh your God, am dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. And Jerusalem will be a place of holiness, and strangers will pass through it no longer.

²¹ And every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to Yahweh of hosts, and all those who sacrifice will come and will take from them, and will cook in them, and there will be no longer a _⌊trader_⌋* in the house* of Yahweh of hosts on that day.

⁴¹ The Son of Man will send out his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all the causes of sin and those who do lawless deeds,

⁵ For this you know _⌊for certain_⌋*, that every sexually immoral person, or unclean person, or greedy person (who is an idolater), does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

³ Yes, I ask also you, true yokefellow, help them, who struggled along with me in the gospel with both Clement and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the book of life.

¹⁴ Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

⁵ The one who conquers in this way will be dressed in white clothing, and I will never erase his name from the book of life, and I will declare his name before my Father and before his angels.

⁸ And all those who live on the earth will worship him, _⌊everyone whose name is not written_⌋* from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered.

⁴ And the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, holding a golden cup in her hand full of detestable things and the unclean things of her sexual immorality. ⁵ And on her forehead a name was written, a mystery: "Babylon the great, the mother of prostitutes and of the detestable things of the earth."

¹² And I saw the dead—the great and the small—standing before the throne, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to their deeds.

¹⁵ And if anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

⁸ But as for the cowards and unbelievers and detestable persons and murderers and sexually immoral people and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their share is in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.

¹⁴ Blessed are the ones who wash their robes, so that their authority will be over the tree of life and they may enter into the city through the gates. ¹⁵ Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral people and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and who practices falsehood.
