³³ The lot will be cast into the lap, but all of its decisions are from Yahweh.

⁵⁵ Surely the land will be divided by lot. ¹⁴ In the morning you will come forward, _⌊tribe by tribe_⌋,* and the tribe that Yahweh will select by lot will come forward by clans, and the clan that Yahweh selects by lot will come forward by families, and the family that Yahweh selects by lot will come forward one by one.

⁵ They will divide it among themselves into seven portions; _⌊Judah will maintain its border_⌋* from the south, and _⌊the house of Joseph will maintain its border_⌋* from the north.

¹⁰ and Joshua cast a lot for them at Shiloh before* Yahweh, and there he divided the land for the _⌊Israelites_⌋,* _⌊to each a portion_⌋.*
