¹³ And he went out again beside the sea,* and all the crowd was coming to him, and he began to teach* them.

²⁰ Wisdom calls out in the streets, in the squares she raises her voice. ²¹ On a _⌊busy corner_⌋* she cries out, at the entrances of the gates in the city, she speaks her sayings: ²² "_⌊How long_⌋,* O simple ones, will you love simplicity? And how long will scoffers delight in their scoffing, and fools hate knowledge?

⁹ And as* Jesus was going away from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth and said to him, "Follow me!" And he stood up and* followed him.

¹ On that day Jesus went out of the house and* was sitting by the sea.*

⁴⁵ But he went out and* began to proclaim it* freely and to spread abroad the account, so that he was no longer able to enter publicly into a town. But he was staying outside in deserted places, and they were coming to him from all directions.

² And many had gathered, so that there was no longer room, not even at the door, and he was speaking the word to them.

⁷ And Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea,* and a great crowd from Galilee followed him.* And from Judea ⁸ and from Jerusalem and from Idumea and the other side of the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon a great crowd came to him because they* heard all that he was doing.

²⁰ And he went home, and the crowd gathered again, so that they were not even able to eat a meal. ²¹ And when* _⌊his family_⌋* heard this,* they went out to restrain him, for they were saying, "He has lost his mind!"

¹ And again he began to teach beside the sea,* and a very large crowd was gathered to him, so that he got into a boat and* sat on the sea, and the whole crowd was at the sea on the land.

⁴⁸ And they did not find anything they could do, because all the people were paying close attention to what they were hearing from him.

³⁸ And all the people were getting up very early in the morning to come* to him in the temple courts* to listen to him.
