When I call, answer me, O God of my righteousness.* In trouble _⌊deliver me_⌋.* Be gracious to me and hear my prayer. ² O sons of man, how long will my honor* be a disgrace? O Yahweh, do not rebuke me in your anger, and do not discipline me in your wrath. ² Be gracious to me, O Yahweh, because I am feeble. Heal me, O Yahweh, for my bones are terrified. ³ My soul is also very terrified. Give ear, O God, to my prayer, and do not hide yourself from my plea. ² Attend to me and answer me. May God be gracious to us and bless us. God is known in Judah. His name is great in Israel. ² His den* has been in Salem, his lair* in Zion. ³ There he broke the flames of the bow, the shield and sword and battle. ²⁴ 'Only in Yahweh,' one shall say to me, 'are righteousness and strength.' He shall come to him, and all those who were angry with him shall be ashamed.

¹⁴ then you shall take your pleasure in* Yahweh, and I will make you ride upon the heights of the earth, and I will feed you the heritage of Jacob your ancestor,*
for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken."

⁹ And he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, because the* power is perfected in weakness." Therefore rather I will boast most gladly in my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may reside in me. ¹⁰ Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in calamities, in persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.

¹⁶ that he may grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,

¹³ I am able to do all things by the one who strengthens me.
