³ How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

¹³ Is not my help in me? and is wisdom driven quite from me?

³ But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

⁵ O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.

⁸ Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself? ⁹ What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us? ¹⁰ With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.

¹⁰ But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.

¹¹ Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say. ¹² Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words: ¹³ Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

³ My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

³³ If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

² Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

¹ Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: ² Both low and high, rich and poor, together. ³ My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. ⁴ I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

¹⁵ My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. ¹⁶ I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. ¹⁷ O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. ¹⁸ Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

⁶ Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. ⁷ For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. ⁸ All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. ⁹ They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

²⁰ And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

²⁷ For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
