John 7 Cross References - KJC

1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. 2 Now the Jew's feast of tabernacles was at hand. 3 His brothers therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that your disciples also may see the works that you are doing. 4 For there is no man that does any thing in secret, and he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world. 5 For neither did his brothers believe in him. 6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready. 7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that the works of it are evil. 8 Go you up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come. 9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. 10 But when his brothers were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. 11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? 12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, No; but he deceives the people. 13 Howbeit no man spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews. 14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. 15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knows this man letters, having never learned? 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why go you about to kill me? 20 The people answered and said, You have a devil: who goes about to kill you? 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and you all marvel. 22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and you on the sabbath day circumcise a man. 23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are you angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. 25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? 26 But, lo, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? 27 Howbeit we know this man from where he is: but when Christ comes, no man knows from where he is. 28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, You both know me, and you know from where I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom you know not. 29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he has sent me. 30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. 31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ comes, will he do more miracles than these which this man has done? 32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him. 33 Then said Jesus unto them, yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. 34 You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, to there you cannot come. 35 Then said the Jews among themselves, To where will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? 36 What manner of saying is this that he said, You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, to there you cannot come? 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.) 40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. 41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Has not the scripture said, That Christ comes of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? 43 So there was a division among the people because of him. 44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him. 45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have you not brought him? 46 The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man. 47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are you also deceived? 48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? 49 But this people who knows not the law are cursed. 50 Nicodemus says unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) 51 Does our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he does? 52 They answered and said unto him, Are you also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee arises no prophet. 53 And every man went unto his own house.

14 But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 4:25

25 The woman says unto him, I know that Messias comes, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

John 4:29

29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

John 4:39

39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

John 4:42

42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of your saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

John 4:54

54 This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.

John 5:2-11

2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. 5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he says unto him, Do you want be made whole? 7 The sick man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me. 8 Jesus says unto him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk.

John 5:8-9

8 Jesus says unto him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk. 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

John 5:9-9

9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for you to carry your bed. 11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up your bed, and walk.

John 5:14

14 Afterward Jesus finds him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, you are made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you.

John 5:14-16

14 Afterward Jesus finds him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, you are made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you. 15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. 16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

John 5:16

16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

John 5:16-16

16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. 17 But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work. 18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

John 5:18

18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

John 5:23-24

23 That all men should honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent him. 24 Truthfully, truthfully, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 5:30

30 I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.

John 5:32

32 There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true.

John 5:40

40 And you will not come to me, that you might have life. 41 I receive not honor from men.

John 5:43

43 I am come in my Father's name, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.

John 5:45

45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom you trust.

John 6:2

2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

John 6:14

14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

John 6:14-15

14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. 15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

John 6:35

35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst.

John 6:37

37 All that the Father gives me shall come to me; and him that comes to me I will in no way cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which has sent me, that of all which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which sees the Son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. 42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he says, I came down from heaven?

John 6:44

44 No man can come to me, unless the Father which has sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:46

46 Not that any man has seen the Father, save he which is of God, he has seen the Father.

John 6:52

52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

John 6:55

55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

John 6:60

60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?

John 6:69

69 And we believe and are sure that you are that Christ, the Son of the living God.

John 7:1

1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. 2 Now the Jew's feast of tabernacles was at hand. 3 His brothers therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that your disciples also may see the works that you are doing.

John 7:5

5 For neither did his brothers believe in him. 6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready.

John 7:8

8 Go you up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.

John 7:10

10 But when his brothers were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

John 7:10-11

10 But when his brothers were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. 11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? 12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, No; but he deceives the people.

John 7:14

14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. 15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knows this man letters, having never learned?

John 7:19

19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why go you about to kill me?

John 7:23

23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are you angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

John 7:25

25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?

John 7:25-27

25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? 26 But, lo, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

John 7:26

26 But, lo, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? 27 Howbeit we know this man from where he is: but when Christ comes, no man knows from where he is.

John 7:27

27 Howbeit we know this man from where he is: but when Christ comes, no man knows from where he is. 28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, You both know me, and you know from where I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom you know not.

John 7:30

30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. 31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ comes, will he do more miracles than these which this man has done? 32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

John 7:34

34 You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, to there you cannot come.

John 7:37

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

John 7:40-43

40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. 41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

John 7:41-42

41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

John 7:41

41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Has not the scripture said, That Christ comes of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

John 7:42-42

42 Has not the scripture said, That Christ comes of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? 43 So there was a division among the people because of him. 44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him. 45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have you not brought him?

John 7:45-53

45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have you not brought him? 46 The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man.

John 7:46-46

46 The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man.

John 7:46-53

46 The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man. 47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are you also deceived?

John 7:47-53

47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are you also deceived? 48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?

John 7:48-53

48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? 49 But this people who knows not the law are cursed. 50 Nicodemus says unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)

John 7:50

50 Nicodemus says unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) 51 Does our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he does? 52 They answered and said unto him, Are you also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee arises no prophet.

John 7:52-53

52 They answered and said unto him, Are you also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee arises no prophet. 53 And every man went unto his own house.

John 8:2

2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

John 8:14

14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know from where I came, and to where I go; but you cannot tell from where I come, and to where I go. 15 You judge after the flesh; I judge no man. 16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

John 8:19

19 Then said they unto him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, you neither know me, nor my Father: if you had known me, you should have known my Father also. 20 These words spoke Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. 21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and you shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: to where I go, you cannot come. 22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he says, To where I go, you cannot come.

John 8:22

22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he says, To where I go, you cannot come. 23 And he said unto them, You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins.

John 8:26

26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.

John 8:28

28 Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.

John 8:30

30 As he spoke these words, many believed on him.

John 8:30-32

30 As he spoke these words, many believed on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:37

37 I know that you are Abraham's seed; but you seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you.

John 8:40

40 But now you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

John 8:42

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do you not understand my speech? even because you cannot hear my word.

John 8:47

47 He that is of God hears God's words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God. 48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that you are a Samaritan, and have a devil? 49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honor my Father, and you do dishonor me. 50 And I seek not my own glory: there is one that seeks and judges.

John 8:52

52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that you have a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you say, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.

John 8:54

54 Jesus answered, If I honor myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Father that honors me; of whom you say, that he is your God:

John 8:54-55

54 Jesus answered, If I honor myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Father that honors me; of whom you say, that he is your God: 55 yet you have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

John 8:55

55 yet you have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

John 8:59

59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

John 9:4

4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.

John 9:16

16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keeps not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

John 9:22

22 These words spoke his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

John 9:27-34

27 He answered them, I have told you already, and you did not hear: why would you hear it again? will you also be his disciples? 28 Then they reviled him, and said, You are his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples.

John 9:28-34

28 Then they reviled him, and said, You are his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. 29 We know that God spoke unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from from where he is.

John 9:29

29 We know that God spoke unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from from where he is.

John 9:29-34

29 We know that God spoke unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from from where he is. 30 The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvelous thing, that you know not from from where he is, and yet he has opened mine eyes. 31 Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and does his will, him he hears. 32 Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. 33 If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. 34 They answered and said unto him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us? And they cast him out.

John 9:34-34

34 They answered and said unto him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us? And they cast him out.

John 9:40

40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?

John 10:15

15 As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

John 10:19-21

19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.

John 10:19

19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. 20 And many of them said, He has a devil, and is mad; why hear you him?

John 10:20

20 And many of them said, He has a devil, and is mad; why hear you him? 21 Others said, These are not the words of him that has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

John 10:31-32

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

John 10:31

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do you stone me?

John 10:36

36 Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God?

John 10:39-40

39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,

John 10:39

39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, 40 And went away again beyond the Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. 41 And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spoke of this man were true. 42 And many believed on him there.

John 11:4

4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

John 11:6-7

6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. 7 Then after that says he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.

John 11:9-10

9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world. 10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbles, because there is no light in him.

John 11:45

45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

John 11:47-53

47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many miracles.

John 11:47-48

47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many miracles. 48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

John 11:48-48

48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. 49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, You know nothing at all, 50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 51 And this spoke he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; 52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. 53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

John 11:53

53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

John 11:53-53

53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. 54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went from there unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

John 11:54

54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went from there unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

John 11:56

56 Then sought they for Jesus, and spoke among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think you, that he will not come to the feast? 57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should show it, that they might take him.

John 12:11

11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

John 12:16

16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

John 12:19

19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive you how you prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him. 20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:

John 12:23

23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

John 12:28

28 Father, glorify your name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

John 12:34

34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abides forever: and how say you, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? 35 Then Jesus said unto them, yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walks in darkness knows not to where he goes. 36 While you have light, believe in the light, that you may be the children of light. These things spoke Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

John 12:42-43

42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

John 12:42

42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

John 12:49-50

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

John 12:49

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, just as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John 13:1

1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 13:3

3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

John 13:31-32

31 Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. 32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall immediately glorify him. 33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Where I go, you cannot come; so now I say to you.

John 13:33-36

33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Where I go, you cannot come; so now I say to you. 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. 36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, to where do you go? Jesus answered him, Where I go, you cannot follow me now; but you shall follow me afterwards.

John 14:3

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

John 14:6

6 Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:10

10 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.

John 14:13

13 And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:16-17

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.

John 14:19

19 yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also.

John 14:24

24 He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

John 14:26

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:31

31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

John 15:18-19

18 If the world hate you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

John 15:23-25

23 He that hates me hates my Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. 25 But this comes to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

John 16:3

3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

John 16:5

5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asks me, Where do you go?

John 16:7

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 16:10

10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more;

John 16:16-22

16 A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me, because I go to the Father. 17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he says unto us, A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

John 16:17-18

17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he says unto us, A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father? 18 They said therefore, What is this that he says, A little while? we cannot tell what he says.

John 16:18-18

18 They said therefore, What is this that he says, A little while? we cannot tell what he says. 19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do you inquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me? 20 Truthfully, truthfully, I say unto you, That you shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21 A woman when she is in travail has sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembers no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. 22 And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you.

John 16:27-28

27 For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

John 16:28

28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

John 17:3

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4 I have glorified you on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify you me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.

John 17:5

5 And now, O Father, glorify you me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.

John 17:8

8 For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that you did send me.

John 17:11

11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep through your own name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, as we are.

John 17:13

13 And now come I to you; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

John 17:18

18 As you have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

John 17:24

24 Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me.

John 17:25-26

25 O righteous Father, the world has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them your name, and will declare it: that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.

John 18:5-6

38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. 39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pound weight.

John 20:19

19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and says unto them, Peace be unto you.

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, says he, you have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. 6 When they therefore had come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power.

Acts 1:7-8

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power. 8 But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:4

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was reported abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Acts 2:7-13

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, in which we were born?

Acts 2:8-13

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, in which we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

Acts 2:9-13

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

Acts 2:10-13

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What means this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, You men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Acts 2:17

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Acts 3:22-23

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brothers, like unto me; him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Acts 4:11-12

11 This is the stone which was set at no value of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. 22 But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned and told, 23 Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing outside before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within. 24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow. 25 Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people. 26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Acts 5:26-27

26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned. 27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, 28 Saying, Did not we strictly command you that you should not teach in this name? and, behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. 29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you slew and hanged on a tree. 31 Him has God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God has given to them that obey him. 33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

Acts 6:7

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Acts 7:38

38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spoke to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

Acts 7:51-54

51 You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you. 52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain those who showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom you have been now the betrayers and murderers: 53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it. 54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

Acts 8:13

Acts 10:1-6

1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always. 3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Your prayers and your alms are come up for a memorial before God. 5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: 6 He lodges with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the seaside: he shall tell you what you should do.

Acts 13:46-48

46 Then Paul and Barnabas grown bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. 47 For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set you to be a light of the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Acts 14:4

4 But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

21 And they are informed of you, that you teach all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

21 And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send you far hence unto the Gentiles.

Acts 23:3

3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite you, you whited wall: for do you sit to judge me after the law, and command me to be smitten contrary to the law?

Acts 23:7-10

7 And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. 8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both. 9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God. 10 And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle. 11 And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as you have testified of me in Jerusalem, so must you bear witness also at Rome.

Acts 26:24

24 And as he thus spoke for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, you are beside yourself; much learning does make you mad.

Romans 1:28

28 And just as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Romans 2:12-13

12 For as many as have sinned outside law shall also perish outside law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Romans 2:17-29

17 Behold, you are called a Jew, and rest in the law, and make your boast of God, 18 And know his will, and approve the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; 19 And are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, 20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which have the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. 21 You therefore which teach another, teach you not yourself? you that preach a man should not steal, do you steal? 22 You that say a man should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? you that abhor idols, do you commit sacrilege? 23 You that make your boast of the law, through breaking the law do you dishonor God? 24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. 25 For circumcision truthfully profits, if you keep the law: but if you be a breaker of the law, your circumcision is made uncircumcision. 26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? 27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfill the law, judge you, who by the letter and circumcision do transgress the law? 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Romans 3:4

4 God forbid: yes, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged.

Romans 3:10-23

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. 13 Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: 14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: 15 Their feet are swift to shed blood: 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways: 17 And the way of peace have they not known: 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes. 19 Now we know that what things soever the law says, it says to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God outside the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 4:9-11

9 Comes this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

Romans 5:7

7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die.

Romans 8:7

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Romans 8:9

9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

1 Corinthians 1:20

20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

1 Corinthians 1:20-21

20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom did not know God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yes, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

1 Corinthians 2:8

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

1 Corinthians 2:14

14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. 20 And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

1 Corinthians 10:4

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

1 Corinthians 10:31-33

31 Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: 33 Just as I please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

1 Corinthians 11:25

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do you, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.

13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

2 Corinthians 6:8

8 By honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

Galatians 2:12-13

12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they had come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. 13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

Galatians 3:17

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of no effect.

Galatians 3:19

19 Why then serves the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

Galatians 6:12-14

12 As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. 13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

Galatians 6:13

13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. 14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Ephesians 1:13-14

13 In whom you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

14 And many of the brothers in the Lord, growing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

Philippians 2:3-5

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:14

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

Philippians 3:15-16

15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing you be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

2 Timothy 1:7-8

7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be not you therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be you partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

2 Timothy 2:9-13

9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Titus 1:2

Hebrews 3:3-5

3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has builded the house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. 5 And Moses truthfully was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

Hebrews 6:18

18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

James 3:13-18

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conduct his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

James 4:4

4 You adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 Peter 4:11

1 John 2:3-4

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 3:12-13

12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And why slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 13 Marvel not, my brothers, if the world hate you.
