¹⁷ And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto you on the way as you came, has sent me, that you might receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

¹³ Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

⁵ And he could there do no mighty work, except that he laid his hands upon a few sick people, and healed them.

³² It was suitable that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

³¹ And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

⁶ Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

¹⁷ Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

⁴ And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me? ⁵ And he said, Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute: it is hard for you to kick against the pricks.

⁸ And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. ⁹ And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink. ¹⁰ And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. ¹¹ And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prays, ¹² And has seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. ¹³ Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem: ¹⁴ And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on your name. ¹⁵ But the Lord said unto him, Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

³⁶ The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

³ And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

⁵² And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

⁶ And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied.

²⁰ And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

¹² And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelled there, ¹³ Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive your sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him. ¹⁴ And he said, The God of our fathers has chosen you, that you should know his will, and see that Just One, and should hear the voice of his mouth.

¹⁵ And I said, Who are you, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom you persecute.

⁷ Therefore receive you one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. ⁸ And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

⁴⁷ The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

¹⁴ Neglect not the gift that is in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

²² Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure.

⁶ Therefore I put you in remembrance that you stir up the gift of God, which is in you by the putting on of my hands.

¹⁶ Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto you, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?

² Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

²² Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brothers, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently: ²³ Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.
