¹⁴ O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

⁶ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

⁷ I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy: for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities;

⁷ How excellent is your lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings. ⁸ They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house; and you shall make them drink of the river of your pleasures.

³ Because your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you. ⁴ Thus will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name. ⁵ My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips:

⁴ Blessed is the man whom you choose, and cause to approach unto you, that he may dwell in your courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, even of your holy temple.

⁶ Will you not revive us again: that your people may rejoice in you?

⁴ Rejoice the soul of your servant: for unto you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

³ Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; ⁴ Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies; ⁵ Who satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

² Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

¹⁵ Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

¹⁷ For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! grain shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maidens.
