⁸ My soul follows close after you: your right hand upholds me.

³⁵ You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.

²⁴ Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

¹² And as for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me before your face forever.

²³ Nevertheless I am continually with you: you have held me by my right hand.

² I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the squares I will seek him whom my soul loves: I sought him, but I found him not.

⁹ With my soul have I desired you in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek you early: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

¹⁰ Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

¹ Behold my servant, whom I uphold; my elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

¹² And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

²⁴ Strive to enter in at the narrow gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

⁵ Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she wearies me. ⁶ And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge said. ⁷ And shall not God avenge his own elect, who cry day and night unto him, though he bears long with them?

¹² Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. ¹³ For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

²⁹ For which I also labor, striving according to his working, who works in me mightily.
