every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto you. ¹¹ And this is yours; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto you, and to your sons and to your daughters with you, by a statute forever: everyone that is clean in your house shall eat of it. ¹² All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the first fruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given you. ¹³ And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be yours; every one that is clean in your house shall eat of it. ¹⁴ Every thing devoted in Israel shall be yours. ¹⁵ Every thing that opens the womb in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or animals, shall be yours: nevertheless the firstborn of man shall you surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean animals shall you redeem. ¹⁶ And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shall you redeem, according to your valuation, for the money of five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs. ¹⁷ But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy: you shall sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shall burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet aroma unto the LORD. ¹⁸ And the flesh of them shall be yours, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are yours. ¹⁹ All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given you, and your sons and your daughters with you, by a statute forever: it is a covenant of salt forever before the LORD unto you and to your descendants with you. ²⁰ And the LORD spoke unto Aaron, You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any part among them: I am your part and your inheritance among the children of Israel. ²¹ And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of meeting. ²² Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come near the tabernacle of meeting, lest they bear sin, and die. ²³ But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance. ²⁴ But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. ²⁵ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, ²⁶ Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When you take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall offer up a heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe. ²⁷ And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the grain of the threshing floor, and as the fullness of the winepress. ²⁸ Thus you also shall offer a heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which you receive of the children of Israel; and you shall give thereof the LORD'S heave offering to Aaron the priest. ²⁹ Out of all your gifts you shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it. ³⁰ Therefore you shall say unto them, When you have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshing floor, and as the increase of the winepress. ³¹ And you shall eat it in every place, you and your households: for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of meeting. ³² And you shall bear no sin by reason of it, when you have offered from it the best of it: neither shall you pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest you die.

³⁸ And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.

⁹ They shall therefore keep my ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

³⁴ After the number of the days in which you searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall you bear your iniquities, even forty years, and you shall know my displeasure.

³ And you shall write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.

⁷ And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.

¹³ Whosoever comes anywhere near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?

²² Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come near the tabernacle of meeting, lest they bear sin, and die. ²³ But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.

⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

¹¹ He shall see the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

¹⁸ When I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand. ¹⁹ Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turns not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

²⁶ Therefore I testify to you this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. ²⁷ For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

¹⁵ For we have not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

¹⁷ Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

²⁴ Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.

³⁴ And she conceived again, and bore a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined to me, because I have borne him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.

⁶ Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him. ⁷ And they shall perform his duties, and the duties of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of meeting, to do the work of the tabernacle. ⁸ And they shall keep all the furnishings of the tabernacle of meeting, and serve the children of Israel, to do the work of the tabernacle. ⁹ And you shall give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel. ¹⁰ And you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death. ¹¹ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, ¹² And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that opens the womb among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine; ¹³ Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.

¹⁵ And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, as the camp is to move forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of meeting.

¹⁹ And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of meeting, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come near unto the sanctuary.

²² And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of meeting before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.

⁴⁰ To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he become not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

⁴ And they shall be joined unto you, and keep the duties of the tabernacle of meeting, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come near unto you.

³⁹ And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon, ⁴⁰ To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;

¹⁶ And they stood in their place according to their custom, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received from the hand of the Levites.

¹⁵ But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, says the Lord GOD:

⁵¹ And when the tabernacle moves forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be encamped, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

²⁵ And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of meeting shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

³¹ And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the lampstand, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.

³⁶ And under the appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the utensils thereof, and all that pertains to them,

¹⁹ But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden: ²⁰ But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.

⁷ Therefore you and your sons with you shall keep your priest's office for everything at the altar, and within the veil; and you shall serve: I have given your priest's office unto you as a gift for service: and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

¹⁰ And you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

¹⁹ And he struck the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he struck of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had struck many of the people with a great slaughter.

⁶ And when they came to Nacon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. ⁷ And the anger of the LORD burned against Uzzah; and God struck him there for his irreverence; and there he died by the ark of God.

²¹ In the tabernacle of meeting outside the veil, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute forever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

⁷ And Aaron shall burn on it sweet incense every morning: when he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it. ⁸ And when Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations. ⁹ You shall offer no unholy incense on it, nor burnt sacrifice, nor grain offering; neither shall you pour a drink offering on it. ¹⁰ And Aaron shall make an atonement upon its horns once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.

⁶ And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest you die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD has kindled.

³ Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tabernacle of meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute forever in your generations.

² Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.

⁴⁶ And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague has begun.

¹⁹ And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the LORD, were keepers of the entrance.

²³ So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, namely, the house of the tabernacle, as guards.

³³ And these are the singers, heads of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free from other service: for they were employed in that work day and night.

⁵ Thus were they divided by lot, one group as another; for the officials of the sanctuary, and officials of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.

¹⁵ Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the poisonous water: for from the prophets of Jerusalem has profaneness gone forth into all the land.

³ My anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the leaders: for the LORD of hosts has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and has made them as his royal horse in the battle.

¹⁸ This charge I commit unto you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which were made concerning you, that you by them might war a good warfare;

¹⁵ But if I tarry long, that you may know how you ought to behave yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

²¹ I charge you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

²⁰ O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain utterances, and oppositions of what is falsely called knowledge:

¹⁷ And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; and everything that is in the earth shall die.

⁹ And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your descendants after you;

¹⁷ And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get honor over Pharaoh, and over all his host, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.

⁶ And I, behold, I have given with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you;

⁹ And you shall give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.

¹² And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that opens the womb among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;

¹⁵ I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.

¹² I, even I, am he that comforts you: who are you, that you should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;

¹¹ For thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search for my sheep, and seek them out.

²⁰ Therefore thus says the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and between the lean sheep.

⁹ And you shall gird them with belts, Aaron and his sons, and put the turbans on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

² And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron your brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the veil before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

¹² And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil: ¹³ And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not: ¹⁴ And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

³⁸ But those that encamp before the tabernacle on the east, even before the tabernacle of meeting eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary to meet the needs of the children of Israel; and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

⁵ And he spoke unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even tomorrow the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he has chosen will he cause to come near unto him. ⁶ This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company; ⁷ And put fire in them, and put incense in them before the LORD tomorrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD does choose, he shall be holy: you take too much upon you, you sons of Levi.

⁴ And they shall be joined unto you, and keep the duties of the tabernacle of meeting, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come near unto you. ⁵ And you shall keep the duties of the sanctuary, and the duties of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.

²⁰ And the LORD spoke unto Aaron, You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any part among them: I am your part and your inheritance among the children of Israel.

²⁸ And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon my altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of your father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

²⁷ John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

¹⁵ Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some way, as reminding you, because of the grace that is given to me of God, ¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

⁸ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

⁴ And no man takes this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

³ And behind the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; ⁴ Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, in which was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; ⁵ And over it the cherubim of glory shadowing the mercy seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. ⁶ Now when these things were thus prepared, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

²¹ And you shall take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

²⁹ And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them.

¹³ And you shall put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

¹⁵ And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

¹⁶ And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of meeting they shall eat it.

¹⁸ All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute forever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that touches them shall be holy.

²⁰ This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half of it at night.

²⁶ The priest that offers it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of meeting.

⁶ Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.

³¹ And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'. ³² And the right shoulder shall you give unto the priest for a heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings. ³³ He among the sons of Aaron, that offers the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part. ³⁴ For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute forever from among the children of Israel. ³⁵ This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office;

³⁰ And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

¹⁴ And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall you eat in a clean place; you, and your sons, and your daughters with you: for they are your due, and your sons' due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel. ¹⁵ The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be yours, and your sons' with you, by a statute forever; as the LORD has commanded.

¹⁰ And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;

⁹ This shall be yours of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every offering of theirs, every grain offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for you and for your sons.

⁶ And there you shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vowed offerings, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:

¹¹ Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; there shall you bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice offerings which you vow unto the LORD:

¹³ Then you shall say before the LORD your God, I have removed the sacred portion out of my house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all your commandments which you have commanded me: I have not transgressed your commandments, neither have I forgotten them:

²⁷ And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

⁹ You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

²⁷ But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him.

¹ And when any will offer a grain offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon: ² And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take out a handful of the flour, and of the oil, with all the frankincense; and the priest shall burn it as a memorial upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma unto the LORD: ³ And the remnant of the grain offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

²² When a ruler has sinned, and done something through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

²⁷ And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he does something against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

¹ And if a soul sins, and hears the voice of an oath, and is a witness, whether he has seen or known of it; if he does not tell of it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

⁶ And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

²⁵ Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy. ²⁶ The priest that offers it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of meeting.

¹ Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.

⁷ As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that makes atonement with it shall have it.

¹² And Moses spoke unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the grain offering that remains of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy: ¹³ And you shall eat it in the holy place, because it is your due, and your sons' due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.

¹⁷ Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

¹³ And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

³¹ And you shall take the ram of the consecration, and boil its flesh in the holy place. ³² And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

²⁹ All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

¹³ And you shall eat it in the holy place, because it is your due, and your sons' due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.

²² He may eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

²⁷ And you shall sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the thigh of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is raised, of the ram of the consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons: ²⁸ And it shall be Aaron's and his sons' by a statute forever from the children of Israel: for it is a heave offering: and it shall be a heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the LORD.

¹⁴ And of it he shall offer one out of the whole offering for a heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest's that sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.

³⁰ His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD. ³¹ And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'. ³² And the right shoulder shall you give unto the priest for a heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings. ³³ He among the sons of Aaron, that offers the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part. ³⁴ For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute forever from among the children of Israel.

¹⁴ And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall you eat in a clean place; you, and your sons, and your daughters with you: for they are your due, and your sons' due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.

¹ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, ² Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD. ³ Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your descendants among your generations, that goes unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD. ⁴ Whatsoever man of the descendants of Aaron who is a leper, or has a discharge; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. And whoever touches any thing that is defiled by a dead body, or a man who has had an emission of semen; ⁵ Or whosoever touches any creeping thing, by which he may be made unclean, or a man by whom he may be made unclean, whatsoever his uncleanness may be; ⁶ The soul which has touched any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he washes his flesh with water. ⁷ And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food. ⁸ That which dies of itself, or is torn by animals, he shall not eat to defile himself by it: I am the LORD. ⁹ They shall therefore keep my ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them. ¹⁰ There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing. ¹¹ But if the priest buys any person with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his food. ¹² If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things. ¹³ But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's food: but there shall no stranger eat of it. ¹⁴ And if a man eat of a holy thing unwittingly, then he shall add the fifth part of it unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing. ¹⁵ And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD; ¹⁶ Or allow them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy offerings: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

⁸ And the LORD spoke unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given you the duties of my heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto you have I given them as a portion to you, and to your sons, by an ordinance forever.

³ And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two jowls, and the stomach.

²⁹ You shall not delay to offer the first of your ripe fruits, and of the outflow of your presses: the firstborn of your sons shall you give unto me.

¹⁹ The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the LORD your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

¹⁴ And if you offer a grain offering of your first fruits unto the LORD, you shall offer for the grain offering of your first fruits green ears of grain dried by the fire, even grain beaten out of full ears.

¹⁷ You shall bring out of your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the first fruits unto the LORD.

²⁰ And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before the LORD with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

¹⁹ Then it shall be, that, when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a heave offering unto the LORD. ²⁰ You shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for a heave offering: as you do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall you offer it up. ²¹ Of the first of your dough you shall give unto the LORD a heave offering throughout your generations.

⁴ The firstfruit also of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, shall you give him.

² That you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which you shall bring of your land that the LORD your God gives you, and shall put it in a basket, and shall go unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose to place his name there.

³⁵ And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD: ³⁶ Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God: ³⁷ And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our work.

² One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very bad figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

¹⁰ I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and they became abominations like the thing they loved.

¹ Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the first ripe fruit.

²⁸ Nevertheless no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he has, both of man and animal, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD.

²⁹ They shall eat the grain offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs.

² Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

¹² That you shall set apart unto the LORD all that opens the womb, and every firstling that comes of a beast which you have; the males shall be the LORD'S. ¹³ And every firstling of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck: and all the firstborn of man among your children shall you redeem.

²⁰ But the firstling of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb: and if you redeem it not, then shall you break its neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

²⁶ Only the firstling of the animals, which should be the LORD'S firstling, no man may dedicate it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD'S. ²⁷ And if it be of an unclean animal, then he shall redeem it according to your valuation, and shall add a fifth part to it: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your valuation.

¹³ Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.

⁴⁶ And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, who are more than the Levites;

¹³ This they shall give, every one that passes among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) a half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.

² Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a special vow of persons to the LORD at your valuation, ³ Then your valuation shall be for the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even your valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. ⁴ And if it be a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels. ⁵ And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. ⁶ And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then your valuation shall be for the male five shekels of silver, and for the female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver. ⁷ And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

²⁵ And all your valuations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

⁴⁷ You shall even take five shekels apiece individually, after the shekel of the sanctuary shall you take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)

¹² And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs: twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, shall be your mina.

¹⁶ And you shall slay the ram, and you shall take its blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.

² And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of meeting: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about. ³ And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is upon the entrails, ⁴ And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the fat above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away. ⁵ And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma unto the LORD.

¹⁹ All the firstborn males that come of your herd and of your flock you shall sanctify unto the LORD your God: you shall do no work with the firstborn of your bullock, nor shear the firstborn of your sheep. ²⁰ You shall eat it before the LORD your God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, you and your household. ²¹ And if there be any blemish in it, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, you shall not sacrifice it unto the LORD your God. ²² You shall eat it within your gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the gazelle, and as the hart.

²⁶ And you shall take the breast of the ram of Aaron's consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before the LORD: and it shall be your part.

¹³ And every offering of your grain offering shall you season with salt; neither shall you allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering: with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

¹¹ And this is yours; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto you, and to your sons and to your daughters with you, by a statute forever: everyone that is clean in your house shall eat of it.

²⁹ Take it from their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for a heave offering of the LORD.

⁴¹ And Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD'S heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses.

⁵ Ought you not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David forever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?

⁴ Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion due to the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.

²³ But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance. ²⁴ But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

⁶² And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

⁹ Therefore Levi has no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD your God promised him.

¹² And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he has no part nor inheritance with you.

²⁷ And the Levite that is within your gates; you shall not forsake him; for he has no part nor inheritance with you.

²⁹ And the Levite, (because he has no part nor inheritance with you,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

¹ The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, as his inheritance. ² Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the LORD is their inheritance, as he has said unto them.

¹⁴ Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.

³³ But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance: the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.

³ For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and a half tribe on the other side of Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave no inheritance among them.

⁷ But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and the half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.

⁵ The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: you maintain my lot.

²⁶ My flesh and my heart fails: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

⁵ I cried unto you, O LORD: I said, you are my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

²⁴ The LORD is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

²⁸ And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and you shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.

²¹ Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; ²² Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; ²³ And you are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

³ And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

²⁰ And blessed be the most high God, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

³⁰ And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD. ³¹ And if a man will at all redeem any of his tithes, he shall add to it the fifth part thereof. ³² And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD. ³³ He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he changes it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

⁷ And they shall perform his duties, and the duties of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of meeting, to do the work of the tabernacle. ⁸ And they shall keep all the furnishings of the tabernacle of meeting, and serve the children of Israel, to do the work of the tabernacle.

⁶ And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of meeting.

²⁴ But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. ²⁵ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, ²⁶ Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When you take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall offer up a heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.

¹⁷ You may not eat within your gates the tithe of your grain, or of your wine, or of your oil, or the firstlings of your herds or of your flock, nor any of your offerings which you vow, nor your freewill offerings, or heave offering of your hand: ¹⁸ But you must eat them before the LORD your God in the place which the LORD your God shall choose, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite that is within your gates: and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God in all that you put your hands unto. ¹⁹ Take heed to yourself that you forsake not the Levite as long as you live upon the earth.

²² You shall truly tithe all the increase of your seed, that the field brings forth year by year. ²³ And you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks; that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always. ²⁴ And if the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry it; or if the place is too far from you, which the LORD your God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD your God has blessed you: ²⁵ Then shall you turn it into money, and bind up the money in your hand, and shall go unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose: ²⁶ And you shall bestow that money for whatsoever your soul desires, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever your soul desires: and you shall eat there before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice, you, and your household, ²⁷ And the Levite that is within your gates; you shall not forsake him; for he has no part nor inheritance with you. ²⁸ At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year, and shall lay it up within your gates: ²⁹ And the Levite, (because he has no part nor inheritance with you,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

⁵ And as soon as the commandment was spread abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of grain, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly. ⁶ And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them in heaps.

¹² And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was in charge, and Shimei his brother was next.

²⁹ They joined with their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;

³⁷ And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our work.

⁴⁴ And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the stores, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions required by the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites who ministered.

¹² Then brought all Judah the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil unto the storehouse.

¹³ Do you not know that they who minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they who wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? ¹⁴ Even so has the Lord ordained that they who preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

⁶ Let him that is taught in the word share with him that teaches in all good things.

⁵ And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they are descendants of Abraham:

²⁰ And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

⁵¹ And when the tabernacle moves forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be encamped, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death. ⁵² And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their armies.

⁷ And they shall perform his duties, and the duties of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of meeting, to do the work of the tabernacle.

¹ And the LORD said unto Aaron, You and your sons and your father's house with you shall bear the iniquity in connection with the sanctuary: and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity in connection with your priesthood.

²⁶ Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When you take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall offer up a heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.

⁸ Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me. But you say, How have we robbed you? In tithes and offerings. ⁹ You are cursed with a curse: for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. ¹⁰ Bring you all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

²¹ And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of meeting.

³⁸ And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the storehouse.

¹⁹ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, ²⁰ This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half of it at night. ²¹ In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baked, you shall bring it in: and the baked pieces of the grain offering shall you offer for a sweet aroma unto the LORD. ²² And the priest of his sons that are anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute forever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt. ²³ For every grain offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.

²⁰ You shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for a heave offering: as you do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall you offer it up.

³⁰ Therefore you shall say unto them, When you have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshing floor, and as the increase of the winepress.

¹⁴ You shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, and out of your threshing floor, and out of your winepress: of that with which the LORD your God has blessed you you shall give unto him.

²⁷ And he said, If the LORD does not help you, how shall I help you? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?

¹ Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for you have played the harlot against your God, you have loved for hire upon every threshing floor. ² The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.

¹⁸ And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

²⁰ Where the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

¹¹ And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

²⁷ And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the grain of the threshing floor, and as the fullness of the winepress. ²⁸ Thus you also shall offer a heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which you receive of the children of Israel; and you shall give thereof the LORD'S heave offering to Aaron the priest.

⁵ And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

⁹ Honor the LORD with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase: ¹⁰ So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine.

⁸ And if you offer the blind for a sacrifice, is it not evil? and if you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto your governor; will he be pleased with you, or accept your person? says the LORD of hosts.

³³ But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

³⁷ He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. ³⁸ And he that takes not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me. ³⁹ He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.

⁸ Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but rubbish, that I may win Christ, ⁹ And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

²² You shall truly tithe all the increase of your seed, that the field brings forth year by year. ²³ And you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks; that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always.

¹⁰ Nor bag for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet a staff: for the workman is worthy of his food.

⁷ And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

¹⁰ Or says he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that plows should plow in hope; and that he that threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope. ¹¹ If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your material things? ¹² If others be partakers of this right over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this right; but endure all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

¹³ For what is it in which you were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.

¹⁷ Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine. ¹⁸ For the scripture says, You shall not muzzle the ox that treads out the grain. And, The laborer is worthy of his reward.

⁸ Therefore every one that eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

² Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.

²² Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come near the tabernacle of meeting, lest they bear sin, and die.

⁷ You offer polluted bread upon my altar; and you say, How have we polluted you? In that you say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.

²⁷ Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

²⁹ For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
