¹³ And I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you built not, and you dwell in them; of the vineyards and olive yards which you planted not do you eat.

¹⁰ And it shall be, when the LORD your God shall have brought you into the land which he swore unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you great and beautiful cities, which you built not, ¹¹ And houses full of all good things, which you filled not, and wells dug, which you dug not, vineyards and olive trees, which you planted not; when you shall have eaten and be full; ¹² Then beware lest you forget the LORD, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

⁷ For the LORD your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

¹³ But as for the cities that still stood in their strength, Israel burned none of them, except Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.

⁴⁵ There failed not any of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

²² A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children: but the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
