⁶ But this I say, He who sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

¹ [To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] Blessed is he that considers the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. ² The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and you will not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. ³ The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: you will restore his bed in his sickness.

¹⁸ The wicked works a deceitful work: but to him that sows righteousness shall be a sure reward.

²⁴ There is one that scatters, and yet increases; and there is one that withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty. ²⁵ The liberal soul shall be made rich: and he that waters shall be watered also himself.

¹⁷ He that has pity upon the poor lends unto the LORD; and that which he has given will he pay him again.

⁹ He that has a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he gives of his bread to the poor.

¹ Cast your bread upon the waters: for you shall find it after many days.

⁶ In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hand: for you know not which shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both alike shall be good.

³⁸ Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your lap. For with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured to you again.

¹⁶ Then came the first, saying, Lord, your pound has gained ten pounds. ¹⁷ And he said unto him, Well done, good servant: because you have been faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities. ¹⁸ And the second came, saying, Lord, your pound has gained five pounds. ¹⁹ And he said likewise to him, Be also over five cities. ²⁰ And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is your pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: ²¹ For I feared you, because you are a severe man: you take up what you laid not down, and reap what you did not sow. ²² And he said unto him, Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was a severe man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping what I did not sow: ²³ Why then gave not you my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required my own with interest? ²⁴ And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that has ten pounds. ²⁵ (And they said unto him, Lord, he has ten pounds.) ²⁶ For I say unto you, That unto everyone who has shall be given; and from him that has not, even what he has shall be taken away from him.

¹² Now this I say, that every one of you says, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

²⁹ But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remains, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

²⁰ But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

¹⁰ Now he that ministers seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

¹⁷ And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before by God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of no effect.

¹⁶ This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

⁷ Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. ⁸ For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. ⁹ And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

⁴ And this I say, lest any man should deceive you with enticing words.

¹⁰ For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have showed toward his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
