³ For to their ability, I bear record, yea, and beyond their ability they were willing of themselves;

⁵ Take from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and bronze,

²¹ And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments. ²² And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and necklaces, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.

²⁹ The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

⁵ The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of craftsmen. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD? ⁶ Then the heads of the fathers’ houses and the leaders of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the officers over the king’s work, offered willingly,

⁹ Then the people rejoiced, for they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

¹³ Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name. ¹⁴ But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? for all things come from you, and of your own have we given you. ¹⁵ For we are strangers before you, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no abiding. ¹⁶ O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build you a house for your holy name comes from your hand, and is all your own. ¹⁷ I know also, my God, that you test the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy your people, who are present here, to offer willingly unto you.

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.

⁸ She has done what she could: she has come beforehand to anoint my body for burying.

²⁹ Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren who dwelt in Judea:

² For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

¹⁷ For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a stewardship of the gospel is committed unto me.

² Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God has prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

¹¹ Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which you have. ¹² For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man has, and not according to what he has not.

¹⁶ But thanks be to God, who put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you. ¹⁷ For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more earnest, of his own accord he went unto you.

⁶ But this I say, He who sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully. ⁷ Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.

¹⁵ Where is then the blessedness you spoke of? for I bear you witness, that, if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

¹³ For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

¹³ For I bear him witness, that he has a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea and them in Hierapolis.

⁸ So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because you were dear unto us.

¹⁴ But without your consent would I do nothing; that your benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

¹¹ If any man speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man ministers, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

² Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for dishonest gain, but of a ready mind;
