¹⁰ He shall build a house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.

¹³ He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. ¹⁴ I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

⁵ And, behold, I purpose to build a house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke unto David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set upon your throne in your place, he shall build a house unto my name.

¹⁹ Nevertheless you shall not build the house; but your son that shall be born of your body, he shall build the house unto my name. ²⁰ And the LORD has performed his word that he spoke, and I am risen up in the place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built a house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

¹² He shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. ¹³ I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before you: ¹⁴ But I will settle him in my house and in my kingdom forever: and his throne shall be established forevermore.

⁶ And he said unto me, Solomon your son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father. ⁷ Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he is steadfast to keep my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.

²⁶ He shall cry unto me, You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

³⁶ His descendants shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me. ³⁷ It shall be established forever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

⁷ Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

¹² And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up in his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: ¹³ Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

⁵ For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
