²⁷ Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

¹ [To the Chief Musician upon gittith. A Psalm of David.] O LORD our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth! who have set your glory above the heavens.

¹¹ You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

⁴ One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. ⁵ For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret place of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. ⁶ And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

⁷ The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise him. ⁸ The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

² For you are the God of my strength: why do you cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? ³ O send out your light and your truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto your holy hill, and to your tabernacles. ⁴ Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise you, O God my God.

² To see your power and your glory, so as I have seen you in the sanctuary. ³ Because your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.

⁶ Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

²⁴ Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world.
