⁵⁰ Nicodemus says to them, (he having come to him by night, being one of them,)

¹ And there was a man of the Pharisees, Nicodemus the name to him, a ruler of the Jews: ² He came to Jesus by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou hast come a teacher from God: for none can do these signs which thou doest, except God be with him.

³⁹ And Nicodemus also came, he having come to Jesus at first by night, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about one hundred pounds.
