¹³ The sacrifices of my gifts they will sacrifice flesh, and they will eat; Jehovah delighted not in them; now will he remember their iniquity, and he will review their sins: they shall turn back to Egypt

³⁰ And I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by love of the Spirit, to fight together with me in prayers for me to God; ³¹ That I might be saved from the unbelieving in Judea; and that my service for Jerusalem be acceptable to the holy ones;

¹ I Beseech therefore, first of all, supplications to be made, prayers, entreaties, thanks, for all men; ² For kings, and all them being in eminence; that we may lead a gentle and quiet life, in all devotion and gravity.

⁵ And ye yourselves are built, as living stones, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to bring up spiritual sacrifice; acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
