⁸ Owe no man anything, save to love one another; for he that loveth his neighbor hath fulfilled the law.

¹⁴ Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates. ¹⁵ In the same day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD and it be sin in thee.

²⁷ Withhold not good from him to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thy hand to do it. ²⁸ Say not unto thy neighbour: 'Go, and come again, and to-morrow I will give'; when thou hast it by thee.

¹² All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, even so do ye also unto them; for this is the law and the prophets.

³⁹ And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. ⁴⁰ On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.

³⁴ A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

⁷ Render to all their dues; tribute to whom tribute is due, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

¹⁰ Love worketh no ill to his neighbor; love therefore is the fulfilment of the law.

¹⁴ For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

¹⁴ and above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.

⁵ But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and faith unfeigned:
