²² Understanding is a fountain of life unto him that hath it; but folly is the chastisement of fools.

¹¹ The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; but the mouth of the wicked concealeth violence.

³⁹ And he spake also a parable unto them, Can the blind guide the blind? shall they not both fall into a pit? ⁴⁰ The disciple is not above his teacher; but every one when he is perfected shall be as his teacher.

²⁴ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.

⁶³ It is the spirit that giveth life, the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit, and are life.

⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
